Reviews for Memlinc Palace Hotel
Review 1:the towels and pillows were smelly.
Review 2:The hotel is located in the best town of the Belgian coastline. It is in the best part of the town so there are a lot of very snobby people around. It is on a square named in Belgium as "place m'as tu vu" This means its the place where certain people want to be seen, for that reason it is not suitable for every one, but we liked it.
Review 3:Breakfast is a little noisy, we like peace and quiet early in the morning.
Review 4:One of the few hotels on seafront with parking facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Review 5:The reception staff promoted the new sky terrace bar, however we could not find a way up there without using the lift, so we stayed at the bar to the front of the hotel, which was good.
Review 6:The staff were friendly we arrived before 3pm and the room was ready which was very helpful. The rooms were comfortable, the bathroom a little small, but it was fine for us.
Review 7:Staff rather polite than friendly, pets allowed even into the breakfast room.
Review 8:Excellent location, luxury rooms, nice breakfast.
Review 9:Ligging is super
Review 10:old facilities
Review 11:location is good
Review 12:Ask for a strictly non smoking room if you don't want to sleep in smelly bedclothes.
Review 13:Hotel could need a make over. Breakfast for that price rather poor.
Review 14:Very comfy bed. One can open windows
Review 15:Locatie is the place to be. Gratis wifi is belangrijk. Verzorgd ontbijt. Parking is pluspunt
Review 16:Good breakfast. Parking
Review 17:small car park so no room but you can park within a 10 minute walk away. Room ok but bathroom was very shabby.
Review 18:location Breakfast was good
Review 19:the vieuw, the food, the parkingplace
Review 20:Very central location with a good bar and restaurant. Well maintained and spacious rooms.
Review 21:The breakfast
Review 22:The location
Review 23:This is a deja vu hotel which should work on it s facilities such as breakfast-room, hall, staircase, hallway to the rooms, it all looks so outdated....and the breakfast room although it s light feels like so out of place as the foodhall in an ikea store; the parking will definately challenge your driving skills; the noisy location makes relaxation impossible
Review 24:the reception staff was very friendly
Review 25:- childrens seats are outdated and a bit dangerous (10€ ikea chairs like they have everywhere would do fine here) - they could offer someone to help getting your luggage
Review 26:- very friendly towards our young children - rennovated room and very large bedroom - parking is next to the hotel
Review 27:There was no air conditioning in the bedroom. For a 4-star hotel, especially located at Belgium's most luxurious town, it isunforgivable not having air conditioning! The hotel calls itselfluxurious but, to be honest, I have been to much better and realluxurious hotels with amazing facilities for both leisure and business. But they were all in different countries than Belgium.
Review 28:The bedroom was spacey, relaxing and wi-fi was quite fast. The locationwas fine. The view to the sea was fine (although not excellent).
Review 29:Our second visit here to this hotel. Not our last. If you can, June, early July or September are good. Not as crowded. The process is simple, really. Enjoy a pleasant self-serve breakfast in the hotel while reading the paper. Walk over to the beach across a small green space or get on your rental bicycle and ride a few minutes along the boardwalk to the nearby nature preserve. Find a place on the quieter, huge, endless beach or in the dunes. Read, doze, swim. At lunch or at the end of the day stop at one of the many nearby terraces overlooking the beach for tappas and a Belgian beer. Before dinner enjoy a cocktail in the lively (but not too lively) bars within the hotel. Dine in or walk over and dine overlooking the beach and the North Sea. Great location, friendly, helpful staff. Clean, modern rooms (ask for air conditioning). Last year we took our young children. This year we did not. It's perfect for both kinds of visits. It's all good.
Review 30:Its an older hotel, rooms have low cielings, beds have bad quality , bathroom needs renovation as well. Breakfast is in a room with backyard view.
Review 31:Beachside and seaview hotel, good breakfast, nice lively bar in the evening. Nice staff.
