Review 2：Great welcome, delicious lemon,ginger drink on arrival after long flight. Simple, clean room, comfy firm bed.

Review 3：Booked a double/twin room but was told on arrival that that room type only has twin beds so we had to pay more for a double... Breakfast was not so good - I recommend going out to eat.

Review 11：Restaurant wasnt available I did book a taxi for few places to visit and was charged too much i.e 2000 rs for 69 kms (5 hrs) overall.i felt this was too much and hotel management didn't work properly in booking this cab ..note: this was booked by hotel manager and money was handed over to hotel only

Review 16：Showers lacking in pressure. Almost impossible to use at some times of day.Right in heart of Trivandrum so very hectic when you leave hotel but quiet inside nevertheless.

Review 18：There were only selves in the wall to substitute for cupboard. Bedlinens were not changed in three days. No restaurant. Breakfast wasserved cold in tiffin boxes in the rooms. The hotel deliberately avoidsmentioning on websites and putting up notice boards that they arestrictly vegetarian on the premises. We ordered chicken pizza in roomand were told to go out of the hotel and eat it. When asked why we werenot informed? The ceo replied, we should relocate if we were notcomfortable. This was unprofessional!

Review 19：We were attracted by the Heritage aspect of the property.

Review 20：We had opted for cash during checkout option. We ended up paying a little extra than what was shown at booking dot com. This site showed 12.5% VAT, but we ended up paying over 22%, including Luxury Tax! Although the difference in the final value wasn't too high, and it was still a value-for-money deal, it wasn't what we originally expected. Gotta go out for good food (Restaurant is still under construction), yet their free breakfast could be better! The breakfast arrived a little late on both days! Thankfully, it didn't disrupt our schedule. Rooms could do with 1-2 chairs. Our room had one. The room my mom used had none.

Review 21：A cool Heritage-feel to the rooms, also resulting in a nice homely feel! After checking out, felt like we were leaving our own house! Friendly staff! Arranged for our needs and transport as and when we asked. Value-for-money! Got free drop to the station! (On a special offer)

Review 22：It had a very homely and professional atmosphere. The staff is eager to make you comfortable and happy. Food was good and reasonably priced. Absolutely value for money.

Review 23：There is a lounge but not really a area to sit and take food. There is a smoking"tower" facing a busy road, where one is allowed to eat though. Laundry came back and was still little wet.

The room was clean and simple, with a quiet ceiling fan. Staff were very helpful and nice! For the price, this was an excellent stay.

Review 26：The room was well furnished, with tv and ac, and had the best shower I've had in India in the last three months -- each room has its own boiler! The owners/managers were extremely helpful. I wanted to visit a particular shop and they wrote the address in Malayalam for the tuktuk drivers. And they arranged a taxi to Varkala for much less than I would have paid otherwise.

Review 33：+ Room was very clean and spacy, including toileters, kettle and a tea for self-preparing. + There are separate water heaters for each room, so didn't find any problems with hot water. + Wi-fi connectivity is all right and KB at the reception (if you are lucky to meet him) very helpful - recommending place to visit in one day. + You can leave your luggage for a day and pick them up (have a shower as well) before you leave the city.
