Reviews for B&B Cinisi Vacanze

Review 1:Lodging was suppose to include breakfast. There was no breakfast to be found in the morning

Review 2:Room and premises itself were lovely and comfortable. Location near airport was convienvient.

Review 3:The only thing we didn't like — that we stay here only for one night. Would like to come back and stay longer :-)

Review 4:Free parking nearby. Good quality wi-fi. Friendly, English-speaking staff. You can ask to transfer you to airport.

Review 5:Would recommend this hotel as one that is not far from the Palermo airport, and does really provide you a good stay! Our room was spacious with very high ceilings and kitchen included. You will have everything you need in the room, except shower gel/ shampoos...Very convenient is the free parking on the street, and the sweet breakfast was just amazing!

Review 6:I arranged for a ride to the airport (15 euro). the shuttle was ten minutes late and the staff at the hotel were nowhere to be found; no response to my ringing the doorbell, nor to any of the three contact numbers posted. a bit stressful. i made it to the aiport on time. staff did return my call, but I was already on my way to the airport.

Review 7:great outdoor bar nearby 3-d Vino with live music (not close or loud enough to hear at the hotel). nice staff and lovely room, although mine did not have a private bath.

Review 8:Light switches a bit difficult to locate. No English news channels.

Review 9:Beautiful interior. Good air conditioning. Very convenient location for the airport. A relief to be able to make a cup of tea.

Review 10:The bed wasn't that good.

Review 11:We needed a place to spend the night near the airport of Palermo. We arrived quite late and left early the day after. A very short stay but we enjoyed it. Nice breakfast. The bathroom wasn't in our room, but we had a private bathroom somewhere else in the building, which was okay.

Review 12:The wifi was a little intermittent, would only work in certain spots within our room.

Review 13:We selected this B&B primarily for it's proximity to the airport. It proved to be a gem of a place with friendly staff, roomy and clean spaces with a tasty breakfast available nice and early. Would definitely recommend.

Review 14:No complaints at all

Review 15:Lovely room, nicely restored. Great welcome from Ariana who arrived after neighbour phoned-we were very sharp! Easy to find with instructions given and well signposted in town. Breakfast was good and served for us when we went up.

Review 16:Our host was so helpful with everything and even dropped us off at the nearby beach for the afternoon as well as offering to pick us up. Our room was very traditionally Italian and a great place to stay to finish off our three week holiday.

Review 17:The room was large and ultra clean. Street parking was very easy. Breakfast was self-serve, and was ready for our early departure by 6:00 am. Marco was welcoming and helpful. An easy ride to the airport to return the rental car. Very happy with our one-night stay.

Review 18:The breakfast is reach, but only sweet (no chease or sausage). A bit to far from the train station, but still ok.

Review 19:Comfortable and clean room. The girl at the reception was so nice to wait for us to come late in the evening.

Review 20:Staff came to let us in. Room lovely with plenty of space and own door out onto the street. Excellent for sharing with two 14 year olds. Kitchen facilities excellent. Lovely and quiet.

Review 21:When we first arrived in mid-afternoon no one was at the B and B and the listed phone numbers were of no help. Eventually a helpful restauranteur was able to find a different phone number by which we contacted the staff.

Review 22:The staff was helpful in dealing with our rental car drop-off. The facility was set up for an early morning self-serve breakfast. The B and B had it's own parking spaces on a side street which made for easy arrival and departure. The staff rearranged our reservation to allow us to stay on the ground floor for convenience.

Review 23:Nothing! We enjoyed it all

Review 24:The staff was welcoming, helpful and the appartement was perfect for the whole family. Breakfast on the lovely terrace woth such a beautiful was a real treat!

Review 25:- nothing ;-)

Review 26:- extraordinary nice staff! Thank you. - large room size, very clean - organisation and service (informations about bus travel to palermo, airport shuttle) was really perfect even though weather conditions were bad. - very close to the airport - breakfast starts at 3am - perfect if you have to get to the airport very early

Review 27:I cannot think of a a thing that was bothersome or un-appealing.

Review 28:I enjoyed the simplicity of this former Carmelite home as well as the graciousness of the staff. IL Carmine suited the ambience of the Erice environment. Our bedroom & bath were spotless with a pleasing view from the window. A typical Italian breakfast was delicious and the room dedicated to chapel use by guests was a welcome addition.

Review 29:Bathroom was not attached to the bedroom; my bedroom was pretty noisy.

Review 30:Very close to the airport. This is an older B&B but it was neat and clean. It was very close to restaurants and the center of town but I did not have time to visit the town.

Review 31:FACTS: We had difficulty in contacting someone for the fee-based "shuttle". From the time we were taken to our room (on Sunday afternoon) there was no one at the "desk" until after 9 AM the next morning. We were very much "on our own". We found the bed hard for our comfort.Given the other reviews, I wonder if we ended up at the same place!

Review 32:The included "continental" breakfast was fine. The room was very large. It provided a place to stay until our next morning's flight; the fee-based shuttle arrived at the requested hour, and we had no trouble getting to the airport on time.

Review 33:The bed was horrible.

Review 34:If you need to stay at a hotel close to the airport, this is it. The room that we got was super big and beautiful, with 4 beds, while we were only with two. There is breakfast starting from 3 pm, with coffee, croissants, orange juice, jam, ...

Review 35:The room I get, however, turns out not to be so quiet especially in themorning. I can hear people talking and laughing.

Review 36:Clean and comfortable, the staff is also kind, and willing to pick youup in the airport at the price of 20 euros per way.

Review 37:Too far to walk to nearest restaurant. The hotels by the sea are a better choice if you want to eat or swim.

Review 38:Convenient to the airport, air-conditioned.

Review 39:stairs to the apartment, not suitable for anyone with mobility problems.

Review 40:helpful staff,warm welcome,spotlessly clean,air condition a bonus.We stayed in the apartment,wonderful views,

Review 41:Couldn't figure out how to work the coffee maker for self-service breakfast.

Review 42:It is only a 10 minute drive to Palermo airport and the transfer organised by the B&B was very prompt and efficient - 20 euros for two of us. The room was tastefully furnished and very clean. Breakfast with good choice was provided even when leaving early.

Review 43:Wi-fi poor.

Review 44:Washing machine in room, beautiful terrace overlooking the town with the mountains as a backdrop. Staff was wonderful - absolutely convenient for early am flights, coffee and breakfast served too!

Review 45:A little bit difficult to find, although we did not have Sat Nav.

Review 46:Staff were lovely and helpful in every way. Spotless rooms. Cinisi very attractive with friendly, helpful residents. Enjoyed our breakfast. Wish we could have stayed for a second night.

Review 47:nothing. We wish we stayed longer

Review 48:Super friendly staff, beautiful appartment with mountain views, easy and fast check-in/check-out, early breakfast, very close to the airport

Review 49:Description states it is only 7km from the airport, however the only way to get there was by taxi which ended up costing 35 euro.

Review 50:Lovely place with very helpful and friendly staff - we were taken to the airport at 4am with no problems! Very clean and comfortable.

Review 51:AC defect, very poor breakfast

Review 52:loud air condition or something of that kind - periodically switching on and off preventing getting asleep

Review 53:The cleaning of bathroom

Review 54:No yoghurt for breakfast.

Review 55:Close to airport for early morning flight. Dario the taxi driver turned up at 5.30! Comfortable room.

Review 56:Nothing

Review 57:Location..very helpful staff and very clean.

Review 58:It was close to Airport and provided a good starting point for our visit to Sicily.

Review 59:Not much for a gluten intolerant guest at breakfast

Review 60:Very comfortable rooms and friendly hosts.

Review 61:If you want something near Palermo airport, that is the place; if your baggage is heavy, ask for a room downstairs (no elevators)

Review 62:Easy drive to Palermo airport.

Review 63:Address was very hard to find.

Review 64:convenient location for access to Palermo Airport

Review 65:Nice and clean place, close to the airport. Staff (Arianna) was very friendly and helpful.

Review 66:Bed was lumpy and hard

Review 67:Location, facilities, staff

Review 68:It was all good

Review 69:Very friendly helpful staff. Large clean room with kitchen Convenient for early flight from Palermo.

Review 70:There was nothing we didn't like. We just wished we had discovered this B and B earlier. Thanks, Arianne and Marco!

Review 71:Arianne offered to pick us up from the bus station on our way back from western sicily, which we thought was wonderful. She also arranged for airport transport at five in the morning. We loved the room, delightfully decorated and comfy. Wonderful breakfast laid out for us. Next time we will stay here our first night in Sicily instead of paying so much for a taxi into downtown Palermo and an expensive hotel.

Review 72:Shower - low pressure Breakfast - Good but need some help to navigate around the kitchen to find breakfast bowls etc.

Review 73:Staff very welcoming & friendly Room was excellent spacious Good location near the airport

Review 74:Once we arrived we had too telephone to let the reception know we had arrived, not all travelers carry a cell to make international calls. The breakfast room was lovely but only sweet foods were available.

Review 75:A tastefully remodelled home, spacious room with a terrace with view to a small quiet street, extra amenities that made our stay more comfortable like the apparatus in the bedside table for getting rid of pesky Mosquitos, nice ornaments in the room which made it cosy, enough chairs and racks to put suitcases on, accessibility to the kitchen to get drinking water at any time. Great coffee!

Review 76:The location is a bit difficult to find.

Review 77:Only 10 minutes by car from the hotel to the airport. If you want tocatch an early flight, don't miss it. The service for sending you tothe airport cost about 25 euros, cheaper than you take a taxi.

Review 78:Excellent location for reaching Palermo Airport and nearby beaches. Helpful, friendly and English speaking staff. Car parking is no problem on streets surrounding the premise.

Review 79:B&B was quite close to airport and is located in a beautifully restored old home. Marco and Arianna were very helpful. Quite close to the Palermo airport.

Review 80:We chose Cinisi Vacanze for our last night of our stay in Sicily after reading some reviews. This B&B was 5 minutes away from our car hire place and 15 mins from Palermo airport. We were delighted with our stay. The B&B was probably the cleanest and most comfortable place we stayed. The room we had was spacious with modern feel to it. We were leaving for our airport around 7pm and were happy to see the breakfast was prepared with fresh coffee from coffee machine. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants comfort and luxury for one or more nights.

Review 81:The B&B is very close to the airport, which is ideal if you have to catch a flight in the early morning. Furthermore, it is very easy to park the car in the streets nearby the hotel (we rented a car at the airport). The staff is very friendly, and helped us to reserve a table in a restaurant close to the hotel. The room was very nice, and the breakfast was good.

Review 82:The bathroom was outside the room which was not very convenient. Very limited breakfast, not a great choice for a Bed & BREAKFAST. There is no one on site. If you need anything you have to call them by phone (which can be expensive for foreigners...). We would have appreciated to have some information/advice on the nicest restaurant in the neighborhood for example... We were also very disappointed by the staff attitude, they didn't seem to care about us and didn't really pay attention to what we were telling them...

Review 83:Comfortable and clean rooms. Close to the airport.

Review 84:Not much choice of restaurants but we found a spit roast chickentakeaway on the high street which was cheap and tasty

Review 85:Lovely house and the room was a nice surprise, very stylish turn of thecentury Italian and very clean. Good for staying near the airport.

Review 86:An electronic key card operates the front door, the bedroom door and theroom lights. The system was more complicated than in other places thatuse such a system, and at one point it was difficult to turn off theroom lights, until we had gone out and re-entered the room.If the powerfails, as it did during the night, I was concerned about security. Itwas easy to lock yourself out of your room, if you went to the kitchenand forgot to remove the key card from its slot in the bedroom. I didnot like eating in the kitchenette, without staff in attendance. Ourroom had a connecting door to another room, and sound insulation betweenrooms was not very good, especially given the stone floors. Cinisi towncentre is unattractive, and did not feel friendly compared with otherSicilian towns. Its busy main street offered very little by way of barsor restaurants.

Review 87:B&B Cinisi is very close to Palermo airport, and that is why westayed. Adrianna, on reception, was good and helped us park at the backof the premises in a marked bay. (On-street parking was otherwise noteasy, and the streets are very narrow). Pietro, the owner, was veryhelpful, driving us to a local restaurant. The room was ok, with a largebathroom and excellent shower. The wifi is satisfactory, especially nearthe office on the ground floor (the rooms are upstairs). Breakfast is a'do it yourself' arrangement, from 3 A.M. People start to leaveearly to catch flights which may be noisy.

Review 88:Our two bedroom apt had a great terrace, to have dinner on with a view of the mountain. We stayed here as a stopover after a late flight into palermo, before embarking on a drive the next morning, and it was a pleasant surprise. We did not see much of Cinisi, But the accom was excellent.

Review 89:Suite 2 long flights of stairs up.

Review 90:We decided to stay there to catch our early international flight.Friendly, very helpful staff, especially Arianna. Helped with oursuitcases. When I returned my car, Arianna picked me up from airport.Extremely clean. Nice, large suite, with very cute balcony, with viewsof nearby mountains, rooftops, and distant view of the sea. Very nicebreakfast, which we were able to eat at 4am before our early flight.Close to main downtown street. I liked the feel of this typical smallItalian town.

Review 91:We stayed here for one night prior to a morning flight out of Palermo. We had booked mostly with value in mind and so we were very pleasantly surprised by the interior of what looked like a simple house on a small back street in Cinisi. Our room was very large -very nicely presented - quite stylish in fact and spotless. Lovely comfortable bed, great shower. The young woman who welcomed us was very nice and helpful and recommended a very good local restaurant , showed us how to find the beach [even offered us a sun umbrella which we later wished we'd accepted].Cinisi itself is not really a holiday town but very handy for Palermo and the airport and could be a good base for exploring the area.

Review 92:On the outside it's just a door on a narrow street, but once inside...wow!! Absolutely beautiful with tiling, wooden doors, excellent furnishings and facilities. We only stayed one night, but we could have easily stayed for longer.

Review 93:Very close to airport. Room was clean and very friendly. Staff were very friendly. Great place to stay especially if flying from Palermo airport because very close.

Review 94:Difficult to find if you are not familiar with the town. Pull in your side view mirrors on the small streets.

Review 95:Very convenient for the airport, both coming and going. Small town atmosphere, good walking around.

Review 96:It was very near to the airport. It is an easy place to start the tríp to sicily. The room was very nice and clean. Good conection to wifi. The bathroom was very clean.

Review 97:We could have done with some imformation on where to eat within walking distance, very difficult to find a proper restaurant in the evening, lots of ice cream places and bars near by though.

Review 98:The building was beautifully restored, the room was comfortable well equipted and clean

Review 99:The staff left at maybe 10:00pm. We were the only two couples in theB&B and it mad us uncomfortable.

Review 100:It was clean, well furnished and very quaint. Staff was most helpful.

Review 101:Parking in the very n arrow street and negotiating the one-way system was a challenge!

Review 102:The convenient location for Palermo airport, the extremely helpful welcome and the very comfortable room. Arianna was absolutely charming (as was her dog) and she made an excellent recommendation of a nearby restaurant.

Review 103:Fare from airport to Cinisai(9km) was same as fare to Palermo (30km) E.35. We didn't want to pick up the car when arriving late at night so booked close to the airport. We would never have found it by ourselves. Another group spent 1/2 an hour looking for it knocking on doors before someone showed them. We arrived half and hour earlier than we'd anticipated and there was no one there. We waited 20 minutes for him to arrive after a neighbour rang for him. We don't have cell phone for overseas.

Review 104:The young lass, Alliana(?) was very helpful and room was comfortable. She arranged a reasonable price to get us back to the airport in the morning to pick up our car.

Review 105:There are only 2 things which caused concern. One was the lack of restaurants in the town, we really struggled to find one open. Secondly, we paid for the airport shuttle and it didn't arrive - we had to ring the contact mobile number outside the hotel and we woke someone, who said the car was on its way!....It turned up 15 mins late, which is a concern when you are catching an early flight.

Review 106:We had a family room, which we couldn't fault. It was beautiful and very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the diy breakfast was very good. The little town is lovely and well worth a visit and the people seem friendly.

Review 107:Only daylight in room through door leading directly into the street , i.e. one would normally keep it closed.

Review 108:Big room. Good for families. Possibilities for preparing own breakfast/food since room had small kitchen and table with chairs.

Review 109:Only the lack of something savoury for breakfast - but Italy doesn'treally do non-sweet breakfast. It was great if you like huge cakes, loads of biscuits, and sugary drinks. And I mean that - the cakes weregreat. I'm just not fond of cakes.

Review 110:Very comfortable and clean. Well maintained. Friendly and helpful staff.Beautiful old town house with vaulted ceilings and big rooms. Greatensuite bathroom. Very good use of electricity - everything switched offautomatically when not in use. Extremely good value.

Review 111:Web site said trasportation to the airport was possible at a low cost.It was not available and two of us paid 45 euro (not including tip) fora 10 minute ride to the airport.

Review 112:Clean and comfortable. Arianna went out of her way to help out.

Review 113:If you're looking for a crowdy place with high-volume-music, Cinisi and that hotel would not be the best choice, especially in winter.

Review 114:We stayed in a restored nice local house with a very good decoration. Staff was friendly, and services were good. Also it is very close to airport, we reached airport with our rented car in 10 minutes.

Review 115:We have stayed at B&B Cinsi Vacanze 4 times, so we know it well. The rooms are very pretty, large and comfortable. Ariana is a lovely person who has treated my family with great kindness and generosity. The B&B is easy to find and very close to the airport. We would definitely stay there again!

Review 116:Excellent transfer from airport to Cinisi B & B. They also drove us to the train station the following morning at no extra cost. Would recommend Cinisi as it very central to the town. Paul Bray

Review 117:We just neeed a 1 night stay near Palermo airport before heading home. Great location for our car hire drop off point in Cinisi The recommendation we got from the staff for a place to eat - Vitina pizzeria - was excellent!

Review 118:There was no one at reception. You are basically on your own which would be fine if you had a cell phone which we did not have with us. I don't know if it was because we were there on a Sunday night. No one was there when we arrived, and a kind neighbour called one of the people who work there to see where they were for us. He did arrive 5 minutes later. There hardly anything open because it was Sunday and luckily we did find a new bar/antipasto place a few blocks away which saved us. The person we dealt with was in a big hurry to get out of there and we still had unanswered questions.

Review 119:It was a nicely renovated 19th century building and we had a whole suite (2 bedrooms) with kitchen and large balcony on the 3rd floor. It was just a couple of llocks from the main square. It was only about a 7 minute drive to the airport which is why we stayed there.

Review 120:No staff on for Breakfast so no'one to show us how the Coffee machine worked for example. The downstairs room was disturbed by noise from the neughbours

Review 121:Convenience for the Airport and very friendly family run hotel

Review 122:It was perfect for me.

Review 123:We were greated by Arianna with such genuine sweetness. She helped direct my cousin and I to a nearby shopping mall. I am definitely going to recommend this B&B to friends who may find themselves in the area.

Review 124:Bit pricey for what is offered. No secure parking. Not easy to find due to one way system in Cinisi.

Review 125:Close to Palermo airport. Rooms well sized. Helpful reception. Early morning breakfast supplied. Nice big rooms
