Reviews for Agriturismo Cà Brusà

Review 1:Nothing :)

Review 2:Best location ever ! Some of the most kind hosts that you can imagine plus their knowledge of wine was outstanding! Love the brothers Marengo :) Lucca you know your wines ;)

Review 3:nothing

Review 4:Very good location to explore the area. The family operates the B&B in a mature way. Dario provided lots of help on visiting the vineyards of the area. The room and the breakfast are good. The pity is no chance to try the famous multi-courses dinner since it wasn't weekend. Anyway I tried the nice restaurants recommended by the family which impressed me. The Piedmont cuisine and wine are the best!

Review 5:Great family hospitality, nothing was too much trouble. Restaurant closed on Thursday evening but managed to serve a fantastic supper of cold meats, cheeses, salad and bread accompanied by their own wine.

Review 6:Unfortunately the restaurant, our main reason for going, wasn't open and we weren't told that until we arrived. The owners, while pleasant enough, barely interacted and we were left to fend for ourselves. No one was around so we were unable to get a drink or otherwise have a normal agriturismo experience, unlike everywhere else we stayed.

Review 7:good location, good size room and good breakfast

Review 8:Had to wait over 90min during siesta before we could book in.

Review 9:The family were all very nice, helpful with lots of extras thrown in without charge, thanks to Rita, Diego, Luca, Francesca, Dario for all your kindness.

Review 10:Room bit noisy as close to road, There is no window so if you open the door it is noisy.Fairly close to Montfort d'alba where you can eat but need to drive.

Review 11:Friendly son. Bought some of their wine which was very good. Room comfortable. Good breakfast.

Review 12:Bed was very poor, uncomfortable, noisy. Lunce and Dinner available only from Friday to Sunday, not everyday.

Review 13:Friendly staff(Diego family), excellent breakfast, and beautiful location(especially balcony view on vinyard), top-class lunch and dinner(10 courses) with very good Ca Brusa-produced Barolo wine.

Review 14:Owners didn't really speak English language. No airconditioner in July meant a really hot night. Some dogs were barking as well at night.

Review 15:In the middle of wine fields. Friendly owners. Wine made at the place. Good breakfast.

Review 16:Unfortunately the restaurant was closed (it was Tuesday). Will have to return when the restaurant is open. Had a great meal in Novello just a few minutes drive away.

Review 17:Friendly family proud of their business. The best hospitality. Vicinity to vineyards and towns.

Review 18:Unfortunately we had to leave after three days . ;-)

Review 19:A small paradise: been there three times and just can't wait to be back again. Beautiful setting amazing local food all made with fresh and home made products. The owners are so friendly and passionate about their family business. No blackberry plse leave it off. Enjoy a glass of gorgeous wine looking at the stunning vineyards. eat until you pass out .... Love this region. Ca Brusa really has this extra wonderdul feel. Go go go .

Review 20:We stayed one night at Ca Brusa and we enjoied every minute. Very good service and a fantastic dinner meal in the evening. And of course, good vine. Smiling and positive Family, even the dog was happy :-)

Review 21:We found it pricey for what it was, also in comparison with other B&B we stayed in the area. The B&B restaurant, which was the main reason why we decided to sleep there (to enjoy wine and food without worrying about driving afterward) was closed and nobody informed us about it until we arrived there, so we had to go elsewhere for dinner. The bed was comfortable but the bed structure, in ancient wood, was making noises every time you would change position making sleeping quite troublesome.

Review 22:Extremely clean, nice breakfast with home-made jams and local products.

Review 23:Leaving!

Review 24:Room big with quality quaint furniture. Very clean and the bathroom was a joy to use. Very modern. If you can have dinner. No menu, just 9 courses of wonderful food for 35 euros.

Review 25:Very friendly family run B&B within its own vinyard

Review 26:No real interaction with family and their work at the farm

Review 27:Awesome homemade food, very nice and comfortable room

Review 28:We liked absolutely everything!!

Review 29:Nothing. It was perfect

Review 30:Friendly family. Food and wine excellent. Make sure you are very hungry, the meals are 10 courses! Wonderful

Review 31:The people, the food, the place , everything was outstanding , exceptional a place to return.

Review 32:The beds, particularly the pillows are hard.

Review 33:Friendly family and staff. Good breakfast of local produce.

Review 34:I can't say anything I didn't like! And I'm fussy!

Review 35:The lunch or dinners are great. Real comfort food and really good Barolo's

Review 36:Beautiful place. Great cuisine. Eexcellent wine. Very friendly family owners. Everything is fine.

Review 37:Good wine directly from the producer. The dinner was absolutely great!!

Review 38:Friendly staff Good food and Ca'Brusa wine Quality for price Perfect location for Barolo region

Review 39:comfortable and friendly, easy to find and convenient

Review 40:No airconditioning.

Review 41:Food & whine. The Italian 'tapas' were outstanding. Very friendly family

Review 42:Location friendliness of family members. Food was excellently ith fresh fruit offered as part of breakfast each morning.ate there one evening.had freshly prepared food from the region Given opportunity to try their wines which were very good.in fact we bought 2 cases

Review 43:Lovely situation and we especially loved breakfast on the terrace with the view. Too much to eat with the 7 course evening meal, which we didn't really realize we would be having! But delicious.

Review 44:All very good

Review 45:Personal service from the family was more than excellent. They brought us to and from restaurants for free. Wine Tasting and the quality of the products they produce and serving is on the high end. Location is very good if you want to walk the 7 phats og visit small towns in the area like Barolo and La Morra. Monforte d`Alba has many hidden treasures like Le Case della Saracca is amazing.

Review 46:The fact that there is no lift could be a minor discomfort for elderly guests with luggage but there is only one flight of steps to manage and they are wide. Besides those running the place immediately offered to help with the bags.

Review 47:If you want a quiet and relaxed time then Ca Bruza is the place for you. The whole atmosphere could not have been better and the restaurant and the Barolo of the estate itself were divine.

Review 48:Rather noisy on a Saturday night stag party!

Review 49:Ca Brusa is owned and run by Diego Marengo and his wife, a charming, friendly couple who are assisted by their two sons. They are farmers whoown extensive vineyards and grow their own vegetables. The six hotelrooms have been converted from the old cow barn. Delicious and abundanthome cooking washed down by excellent wine produced on the premises.

Review 50:An excellent location, it was very comfortable, clean and beautifully presented, with a very spacious room. There was really nothing to fault, the whole experience and this area was just fantastic.

Review 51:The only minus was that the owners of Ca Brusca didn't speak much English, and with very poor Italian, we were quite limited to just the basics. Although I had the impression the guys at Ca Brusca could offer a lot of tips regarding wineyard vists and the region.

Review 52:Ca Brusca in only about 2 km from the town of Barolo, the unofficial center of the Barolo wine area. Lots of small rustic villages in the area are also easily reachable. One tip though is that you absolutely need to have a car to move around the surroundings. For the hikers though, there are several trails that pass a few hunderd meters from Ca Brusca. We did Monforte-Barolo-Novello walk (about 10 km). In hindsight, it was possible to start the walk directly from Ca Brusca, but at that point, it's not very clearly marked, so I would recommend starting from one of the villages, where trail heads are quite clear. In principle, all trails are marked well all the way. Regarding Ca Brusca itself, the place was amazingly clean and staff friendly. Nice feeling of staying at someone's house rather than a hotel. Internet worked well downstairs.

Review 53:Everything, the room was comfortable and clean. The owner were extremely friendly and helpfull. As for the views....they were spectacular!!

Review 54:Excellent rooms and location, good breakfast and nice evening meal. Very friendly owners - don't forget they produce their own wine.

The Fine Print

- The free shuttle is available to destinations within a 12.4 miles radius of the property.- The restaurant may also be opened upon prior arrangement with the Agriturismo Cà Brusà.
