Reviews for Azienda Agrituristica Vivi Natura

Review 1:We had no bad experiences.

Review 2:We really appreciated the lovely staff, and the restaurant serves excellent food! Also it was a few minutes on the train to get to the ruins of Pompei which was very convenient.

Review 3:It was not as close to the Pompeii ruins as we thought, so we had to use public transportation to get to the ruins.

Review 4:Beautiful property, and very helpful staff.

Review 5:I did not get the room I boo1ked and did not get a discount. Doors didn't close well and can hear all noise from outside. There was excessive loud noise all night on both nights and all the reception told me was Italians are crazy.

Review 6:The place looked nice,

Review 7:very modest rooms surrounding an absolutely enchanted compound of restaurants, swimming pool, manicured gardens, renaissance statues, fountains and to top it all, a playground for kids and farm animals in well kept and authentic italian farm facilities. an absolute stunning yet unpretentious experience of quiet and elegant country italian hospitality.

Review 8:The surrounding area was not very pleasant, with an enormous amount of littering and dirt everywhere. You'll need a car to get there.

Review 9:The room was spacious and clean. The hotel area itself was ok and had a pool. Train station with trains to Pompeii site was just a 10 minute walk away. Free parking.

Review 10:Wi-Fi was very slow - it was as if they had a small family Wi-Fi being used for the entire attendees. Whilst the grounds are nice, other reviews on here are accurate in that the area external to the property are not good - full of litter.

Review 11:Lovely grounds, good facilities for kids with the park, animals and pool. V close to some great destinations for day trips.

Review 12:Although this has nothing to do with the hotel, the amount of litter in and around the area was appalling.

Review 13:We stayed here for 4 nights whilst visiting the local area. The hotel was like an oasis in the middle of an housing district - green, clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful. Having a railway stop about 10 mins walk away was very good( 2 stops to Pompeii).

Review 14:The surrounding area; Not so good for access to Amalfi Coast by car - but this is not a criticism of the hotel rather its location and Italian driving!

Review 15:The pool and gardens; convenient location for Pompeii and Herculaneum ruins

Review 16:Do not get off the train at Moregine station. The road to the hotel is awful. Get off the train at Ponte Persica and take a left. The hotel is a pleasant 8 minute walk from there.

Review 17:Great pool, friendly and helpful staff, lovely farm which even our older children loved. Good location for visiting the sights.

Review 18:Although all bigger animals are taking care of well, where food is concerned, the area they are kept is very, very small! It was rather sad to see the cows, pigs, goats, donkeys and horses is such a small space, without being able to move around in a part of the garden...we as well as some of the other guest felt sorry for them, especially the goats and pigs where with to many and did not get out....

Review 19:The hotel felt like an oasis, especially compared to the surrounding area. Nice room, friendly staff, great place for kids, big garden, all clean and lots of green. You have to like animals though, we did, since they wonder around the property all day, about 6 cats and a dog.

Review 20:In a very odd part of town. From train station walking to hotel was uncomfortable. Was not expecting that.

Review 21:Beautiful hotel and grounds. Amazing large property with gardens, fruit tress, farm animals, nice pool area with play ground near by. Breakfast was yummy with many options. Luxury rooms with high end finishes.

Review 22:Accomodation district is terribly dirty and crumpled, and unless the garden, there is nothing that would be worth to see. The whole place is under video surveillance and you do not have any privacy. In the car that we left on the parking lot we found bunch of ants. The restaurant sucks, but since you're in the middle of nowhere there is no other choice, the price printed on the menu is not the one you eventually get charge. Poor bathroom. Very bad internet and only near the reception.

Review 23:Beautifully decorated garden full of animals, which has a children's playground and swimming pool.

Review 24:Breakfast is a bit simple. The city of Pompei/Napoli is not a beautifull place, except for the famous landmarks. The city is chaotic, unorganised and dirty, but then again this is normal for this part of Italy.

Review 25:Beautifull little oasis, rooms are clean and good. Airconditioning worked perfectly and silent. Pool is refresshing after visiting Pompei and Ercolano. Circuvesuviana station is at walking distance, so you can (should) leave your car at the hotel. Pompei site is two stops away, Ercolano only 20 minutes with the train.

Review 26:The staff were very helpful and friendly. The swimming pool and other facilities were prefect for my children. Proximity to the Circumvesuviano railway was great - 500m walk away- but this area of Pompei was a bit shabby in general. However ViviNatura is a little oasis of cleanliness and smartness in the midst of all this! Very welcoming!

Review 27:The neighbourhood not so much, breakfast could be better. For example more wholemeal products, and more healthy food (more fruits) more wholemeal cereals, etc.

Review 28:The garden, the swimming pool and the proximity to the train station to travell to the different places.

Review 29:The first night: we got a room without air condition when we had ordered with air condition and we adults hardly slept that night because of the heat. This was sorted out right away the day after by very helpful staff. The neighbourhood is not so pretty but it is safe. As soon as you are inside the hotel it is very pretty. Bad WiFi. Breakfast is a little bit under standard. The pool gets sometimes too crowded in the mornings due to visits form local schools.

Review 30:Perfect for children: Beautiful concealed area with park, pool, farm animals, other children, and easy to keep an eye on the kids. Helpful service minded staff. The administrator (Cynthia) and the cleaning lady quickly sorted out an issue with our room on the first night. The waiter and people at the bar were very nice and helpful with our needs. Location: Although in a not so pretty neighbourhood the location is perfect for driving from Rome, or south to Sorrento and the Amalfi coast (best to rent a car). Free parking.

Review 31:Breakfast could have had more variety. Door mat would be useful to prevent the tiny stones getting everywhere in the room. No air con even though I booked a room with it.

Review 32:Ample parking. Animals for the children. Friendly staff /owner. Close to the ruins

Review 33:Breakfast a bit basic. Need to drive to Pompeii ruins or walk to train. Too far to walk in heat. Meals in evening good but staff a bit over-stretched.

Review 34:Friendly service. Nice pool. Good meals. Relaxed. Free parking. Good air conditioning in room. Entertaining animals, e.g. ducks taking shower under sprinkler. Cat friendly!

Review 35:I was a bit unimpressed with the breakfast. There was no coffee macine but I later found out you can order a real coffee (not instant) from the waiter, for no extra cost. The waiter, Nico was so lovely and good! But he was on his own! And this did delay things sometimes. He seemed over worked and rushed off his feet! I feel there should have been a couple of more waitinf staff and this would have changed things. This hotel would be perfect other than these few minor issues. We had a fabolous stay in Vivi Natura and I would highly reccomend this hotel to everyone!

Review 36:Very warm and friendly staff, beautiful views of Vesuvio. Great swimming pool. The hotel looks beautiful at night! The animals were so lovely and friendly! Especiall the dog (Betty) and the kittens. The hotel has peach and lemon trees and a vegetable patch. The reataurant made delicious food! Pasta, meat..amazing dishes! I went to this hotel with my 3 year old daughter (just me and her) She had an amazing time and we always felt welcome. Also this is the perfect location if you want to go to Sorrento, Pompeii Scavi or Naples. It is a 10 minute walk to the train station. There is a small grocery shop across the road from the hotel which also makes up sanwiches!

Review 37:WiFi could have a better speed. In the last day in the morning did not work for ~2 hours.

Review 38:Nice pool, garden, animals, food, everything. Very good place for couples with kids but also for people looking for a relaxing place.

Review 39:It is outside town and there is nothing to see around. Access is difficult.

Review 40:The gardens, animals, peace and quiet. It has a restaurant but limited selection. Even though it is in the outskirts and difficult to get there it is very close to a tiny train station that takes you to see the ruins and even Sorrento and you do not have to pay, you just hop on the train, you only pay your way back.

Review 41:Room a tad dated and bed not that comfy. But served a propose as we were travelling from Sorento to Pisa.

Review 42:Best we could find nearby. Once through the gates the grounds are lovely - pretty pool with a great garden. This would be fab if we were travelling with children.

Review 43:Walking to ruins at Pompeii is lengthy and involves dealing with lots of traffic so I drove.

Review 44:Staff friendly. Wifi worked great. Very clean. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The livestock appeared in good condition.

Review 45:Not a great deal of English spoken but WIFI was excellent!

Review 46:We loved the pool and all the different places to sit and relax. Breakfast was simple and coffee was amazing!

Review 47:Internet was inop, however you don't need it.

Review 48:Everything was amazing. Amazing enviroment, full of animals.dog, cats and ducks running around. Very nice garden and relaxing atmosphere. Nice view to the Vesuvio. Staff was super nice, amazing food in the restaurant.

Review 49:it was a twin bed, so not very comfortable to cuddle. the did some fix ups on the porches so we couldnt use that. there was only a shower head. very hard with a child, and again, It might be close to the vesuzious, but it's in a very bad neighborhood

Review 50:i like that when you go in, you don't see the rest of the neighbourhood. it's a quiet pastoralic hotel. with a mini pool (we didn;t go in was too cold for that). a kiddie amusement park with trampoline !! and a few farm animals. (a bit neglected for my taste). we had a great time with our 2.5yrs kid, who was the main reason why we took this place.

Review 51:Easy to get the train or tube (Circumvesuviana) from here, just turn left outside the hotel and walk for 6-8 mins and you will find the platform at the end of the road, no station though. Trains go in both directions (Naples/Sorrento).

Review 52:Breakfast. No cooked option - cake, bread, croissant and jams. Cornflake option, but the only milk is warm. Tea is not english breakfast tea!! It's horrible!! Bad wi-fi.

Review 53:If you are happy to take the train this hotel is a good option for Pompei if you have children. There is plenty of space for them to run around, a swimming pool, play park, football pitch ... however, the breakfast was disappointing and our wifi only worked for one day (and when it did it was very slow). It has great potential, but just needs a little more thought put into it.

Review 54:No room Furniture (1 chair), Wifi unworkable to zero use, Location worse than 3rd world, horrendous road system and misleading sign-age struggled to exit area, 1 fridge for 2 rooms(fridge was warm) 1 bathroom mirror,1 electric socket in bathroom for the room, only bar area open to eat not dinning room, parking chaotic had to leave keys with staff to park sometimes.Unsure how the star rating works in Italy as this was not equivalent to any 4 star room I have stayed in around the world.

Review 55:Chef and Cleaner very nice and polite, Pool was clean, only ate once in evening as was told had to eat at 19:00 in bar not restaurant and only 1 option due to language barrier, however this was actually the best meal over the whole week of eating out.

Review 56:The food was adequate, and once you step foot outside you are in a fairly scruffy urban/agricultural area. Usual stuff for lots of the Mediterranean areas but not very pretty.

Review 57:Withing the property's boundaries, it was very nice and clearly the sort of place to have a wedding etc.

Review 58:terrible breakfast. room 10m2 smaller than booked. shower pressure terrible..a dribble..painters still painting the staircase and rooms..building work going on outside..The owner did not care about or concerns and said we could leave anytime..etc etc...

Review 59:the play area and animals

Review 60:The breakfast was not ready in time and we couldn't have it. The lady that was taking care of it was confused...

Review 61:Closed to Pompei site and clean room; very nice inside yard

Review 62:Impossibly small shower cubicle. The aircon didn't work and the staff weren't that interested in fixing it or letting us change rooms. It was very hot.

Review 63:This joint would be ok for families. Things for kids to do.

Review 64:This is a return visit to this hotel. The eleven year old girl loves it because of the animals on the small holding. The staff treated us like family on our return. My partner cannot walk well so everything she needs is on site. I can walk to the ruins most days.

Review 65:Having to leave such a great place and our wonderful new friends.

Review 66:Loved the proximity to Pompeii, Vesuvius and Sorrento. The staff was very friendly, and the nightly dinner menu was delicious and affordable. The grounds and facilities were very well groomed and kid friendly. Our son had a great time playing with the other guests' children, and being around the farm animals (Chico the cat is a star!).

Review 67:Rude staff. Inability to get the Wi-Fi code because we arrived in the evening. We had to ask the staff for glasses, menus, drinks.

Review 68:Amazing grounds. Close to the ruins. Affordable. My kids loved it.

Review 69:Animals needed a farrier and had infections which needed treating which upset me At end of season there was a shut feeling and food and drink were very limited and had to be found for us specially on asking The area around was slimline and run down, although resort within gates was lovely There was nothing to do or go without travelling to it

Review 70:Staff were lovely and helpful Place was clean and lovely Animals were fun.

Review 71:Rooms a wee bit pricey for what we got. Shower pressure and shower head poor. Disappointed with the food in the restaurant in the evening. Very little choice and tasted not very nice. Sorry!

Review 72:Staff excellent, friendly and very helpful. The hotel looks lovely, inside and out, nice and quiet, a fun area with farm animals, great for children. Location excellent for visiting Pompeii.

Review 73:In my opinion breakfast should have more items like cereals to choose from not only one, toasted bread, and boiled eggs. However breakfast items were fresh and good.

Review 74:Good parking, friendly staff, and good accomodation

Review 75:Bunk beds were very squeaky. The food at the restaurant was not great.

Review 76:The pool And the gardens. Iced coffee. Breakfast included. Pompei ruins are within walking distance.

Review 77:The noise from corridors sometimes, but that's people...

Review 78:The staff The location The pool Flexibility of our stay Felt at home away from home Away from business of Pompei center, and 5mns drive from it The farm, my teenagers even liked to go pay a visit to the animals The simple breakfast, seating outside breakfast with Vesuvius views

Review 79:The room was not air conditioned as advertised. There was a ceiling fan but it was broken and clicked loudly on every rotation. We were unable to open the windows because the septic system had overflowed outside leaving an awful smell. It was unbearably hot inside. When we reported the septic problem to the staff they said that someone would come to repair it the following day so it may be repaired. The staff who work there are friendly but appear to be overworked. We asked for directions to Pompeii and they were not able to help us with details. She smiled and told us it wasn't far. We found it through a google search. Overall this hotel has potential but as it stands it was the worst night of sleep I ever had in a hotel.

Review 80:The children liked swimming in the pool.

Review 81:The only regret is we didn't spend much time staying in the swimming pool but rushed off for Capri and Amalfi coast. Greg

Review 82:7 minutes to the railway station, leading to Pompeii, Naples and Sorrento, etc.. The staff is friendly and helpful. The environment is most pleasant, with peach trees growing abundantly and wisteria in blossom.

Review 83:Bar etc closed during the day No coffee making facilities in room and nowhere to buy one from

Review 84:Close to Pompei ruins. Nice hotel area. Comfortable with the young children (playground, animal farm). Free Wi-Fi access. Good cuisine. Free parking.

Review 85:Not the nicest neighborhood, no elevator to 1st floor. Bathrooms are a bit old

Review 86:Nice area inside the hotel area. The resturant serves ok food.

Review 87:Bathroom really needs an update, difficult to access by road

Review 88:Nice swimming pool, free parking

Review 89:Unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Very difficult to find and no parking on site as website suggested.

Review 90:Food in the restaurant

Review 91:Evening meals very basic, lack that extra touch

Review 92:Nice place, nice staff and basis hotel accommodations.

Review 93:Beautiful ocean view in the hills above Sorrento - shuttle to town was excellent.

Review 94:This hotel is located in a seedy area

Review 95:Being able to relax in the outside

Review 96:Big room, clean and comfortable. Nice pool and brilliant evening meal

Review 97:The working farm was charming.

Review 98:environment is quite good and delicious pasta

Review 99:There is no lift

Review 100:Great place to stay really enjoyed our time here.

Review 101:Not a thing. Everything was great. Staff was awesome.

Review 102:An oasis in a busy city. Facility, staff, food, pool, bar, did I mention staff?

Review 103:our room wasn´t ready and substitute with fungus at the all walls, rubbish en face door all day party on garden - we can´t in pool

Review 104:garden and animals

Review 105:The breakfast.

Review 106:Excellent customer care service

Review 107:Too far from town centre

Review 108:The house the staff

Review 109:Breakfast was rather basic.

Review 110:Unlike many hotels, this one has green space, an areafor children and a small collection of animals. Restaurant excellent.

Review 111:Did not like food at all. Rooms very basic.

Review 112:Helpful staff. Apologetic waiter, because of our meal.

Review 113:super oasis of peace in busy napoli!

Review 114:hard to find in run down area but when inside it is outstanding ps check when pizza night

Review 115:every thing is brilliant

Review 116:Nothing

Review 117:This place is a superb base for the Naples / Pompeii / Sorrento area. The value for money is fantastic. A ten minute walk to the train station puts you in reach of everywhere. The rooms are very good. The pool is beautiful. The staff are really friendly and the shop accross the road do fantastic panini for €2. When people grumble about the area or the fact that the staff don't speak a lot of English they need to remember that they are in Italy staying in a really good place for about €20 a night. It's great.

Review 118:Stuff was not nice, towels smell, noisy, breakfast with cold coffee and tea and almost no food

Review 119:Location, we were planning to visit the ruins of Pompeii also the territory is good

Review 120:People might be put off by the events that are hosted on the premises. We spent 3 nights and Saturday night there was a big party and Sunday the hosted a huge party for 4 children celebrating their first communion. We didn't mind it but if you don't like watching people or expected to sunbathe by the pool you might not enjoy it.

Review 121:The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were nice. It was like visiting someone's home and eating with them.

Review 122:like almost everywhere in Italy - breakfast!! Croissant and croissant and croissant! no fruit, no vegetables,...

Review 123:nice garden, peaceful position in Pompei, not far from the Pompei site,

Review 124:Coming home from such a lovely place.

Review 125:WOW!! I loved everything so we booked another week before we left!! We were slightly out of season so we had a 'talking menu' in the restaurant. It would have been nice to see prices but it was ok.The pool is lovely, the farm is lovely, the trampoline and park are lovely, the veggies from the garden are lovely. We had a great time. Pompeii ruins are just 2km away. This is a FAB holiday for a busy family who just want to "FLOP" whilst the children are happy with pool, animals, park and running round.

Review 126:Wifi only available in breakfast area. No lift and we were on the 3rd floor however only really a problem when bringing in luggage.

Review 127:Small farm kept the children entertained as did the trampoline, football area and pool. There were also a number of climbing frames and swings for younger children.

Review 128:When we got in our room there were wet(!) towels hanging in our bathroom->disgusting! the rooms havent really been cleaned, they just made the bed but didnt bring new towels or anything else. So we had to ask for Toiletpaper and new Towels on our own. There is only one woman of the staff speaking english and we only saw her on our first day. The rest of the staff only speaks Italian. Some of them are very unfriendly (e.g. the one cleaning lady) She could kill with her deadly look.... There is a restaurant in the Hotel, but when you use it: Good Luck! There are no menues (and i absolutely know WHY) and you have to take what ever the waiter wants to bring you. If you dont speak Italian, better dont go there!! (the problem in fact is: There is absolutely NOTHING in the near area) The food also isnt good there. The breakfast is also just a joke. It should go until 10am. When you go there at 9am, be lucky if you catch the last coffee and the last bred. It is always empty at this time already and they dont refill it. If you ask for something they tell you in italian that you wont get anything anymore. It was horrible. Everyday we could see the angry/mad faces of other guests who didnt know that fact and who just wanna drink a coffee and eat a little. Beside that fact, it is the smallest choice of breakfast i have ever had. Ugly looking ham&cheese, only the same cheap white bread every day and jam. Last but not least: Be careful when paying the bill - especially when you have been eating in the restaurant. They charge you ANYTHING. I asked for a detailed bill and then we have seen that on every single day they charged something to us which we hadnt consumed! at the end we had to pay nearly 100 Euro(!!!!) less... So be careful there!

Review 129:a very nice pool in the middle of the garden. lots of animals (cows, chicken, horses, ducks,....) a playground for children (but looks dangerous!) nice big rooms and free Wifi (but only in some rooms!)

Review 130:Would have been nice if we'd felt - at any point - that the staff actually wanted us there. I had to find breakfast for myself. Also it was a bit of a walk to the railway station to get to Pompeii or Herculaneum

Review 131:nice pool, nice location, air conditioning, play area for yonger kids

Review 132:In the hotel description all rooms with conditioners, for my family from 4 people I was the room without the conditioner is provided. It was told that only double rooms with conditioners, but for an additional payment are free that me didn't arrange as I paid for the room with the conditioner! ! Breakfast for this district of Italy more than modest, croissants were given separately on a number of people in a family.

Review 133:Good, big numbers with good furniture and a balcony.

Review 134:hotel was full of average French tourists but staff does not speak french or english (except the receptionist and the ownner). The place itself is nice but the all Pompei area is dirty = rubbish on the street/roads /etc everywhere !!!! We stayed 3 nights and decided to have diner at the restaurant upon arrival and were able to choose from a menu (but 3 quarters of the food was not available) , second day ... no more menu possibilities and we were only allowed to choose between pasta, pasta, pasta and meat from the really rude server ! ... from 09:00 am till 05:00 am, about 30 young children from the area in the swimming pool = NOISE !!! if you are planning to visit Pompei and the area and travel by car, i would suggest to stay in the Sorento area = much nicer .

Review 135:A nice little place to stay if you have young children . Swimming pool, animals, garden toys, .... croissants are really good at the breakfast table . free Wi Fi . There's a little grocery/corner shop 50 metres from the hotel, very friendly and cheap (we paid less tha 2 euros for 2 big bottles of water adn a candy bar) . Parking in front of room :) Our son who is 11 gave the hotel 10 stars , for us parents it was another story .

Review 136:The breakfast was lacking. The first day they had these tasty little biscuits. By the 3rd day they had dwindled to having none at all. I guess it was typical Italian breakfast, brioche and cafe.

Review 137:Close to local train, Circumvesuviana. We really liked the facility, it had farm animals, a restaurant, and well maintained pool.
