Review 1：The hotel was in a beautiful location, with great walks, an elegant bar, breakfast with breathtaking views. What really set this hotel apart was the attentive and friendly staff, who went out of their way to recommend and book restaurants for us, drive us to the town center and back! Flawless service!

Review 6：The views were absolutely incredible. We traveled throughout Piedmont and the beccaris had the best view out of any we experienced. The staff was incredibly sweet and attentive and the breakfast was unexpectedly wonderful.

Review 7：If you cannot sleep in a bed then the hotel is a failure. Also pretty unprofessional. Its what I would call a clone tuscan type of retreat. Looks the part until you try and sleep in the beds. They could not have cost more than 100 euros for the whole mattress!!!.

Review 10：The bath had black bits around the seal, which is either mould or just signs of weae, needs to be replaced, wouldn't expect to see this in such a place. Also when the room was cleaned the glasses and cups were left wet, which I assume means they were washed in the bathroom sink, this is not satisfactory or clean enough. And the tea and coffee sachets were not refilled. This hotel only provides a bar and breakfast. So other than drinks and breakfast there's no lunch or dinner available on site, this was not clear to me on booking. The wi-Fi didn't work the 2 nights we stayed, not at any point, but they did tell us this was unusual and they were getting the service provider in on the day we left. It's quite a small place so note that reception is closed at night, but there is one staff member available over night if you dial 9 (although not every night this is an English speaker by the way).

You printed my review, but only the good bits. I use your site a lot, and generally find it easy and informative, I'm disappointed that you chose to edit out the criticisms.

Several great places to wine and dine at only a few minutes walk from the villa. The main town (Monforte d' Alba) is very customer-friendly, with great value for money meals. A great place to stay and spend a few days in the Barolo region with its many vineyards, wine castles & villas and beautiful surroundings. Villa Beccaris is an excellent place to stay, we will definitely go back soon, and I recommend it to all visiting this area.
