Review 1：Construction workers on road but that will be temporary.

Review 2：Lovely B&B. Friendly and very helpful. Nice big rooms. No elevator but not many stairs. Parking GPS found it for us without it we would have been lost. Nice Balcony had lovely view.

Review 3：Located very close to Maratea train station, along the main coastal highway. Beautiful garden and courtyard. Great breakfast including homemade marmalade from orange trees. Clean, comfortable room. Very quiet. There is traffic along the highway but is significantly reduced at night. Beautiful doors opening to a private patio. Owner was extremely nice and helpful in all regards and went out of his way to assist me. Loved it!

Review 6：We were there in late April, which is obviously not tourist season in Maratea. We were the only guests in the hotel and the restaurant was not open. On the first night the heater in the room did not work and there as only a few minutes of hot water--it was cold! On the second night an electric heater was provided and the hot water was fixed so everything was OK. I'd worry about air conditioning in summer.

Review 7：The location is excellent (provided you have a car)--on the main road midway between the old port below and the old town of Matera above. The hotel is set in a delightful garden with lots of orange (and lemon) trees as promised by its name. Our room had a nice balcony with a gorgeous view over the bay below. It was perfectly quiet despite being fairly close to the road. The owner (I assume) was friendly and helpful.

Review 8：Hotel location is away from town Center, Port and the rest of Maratea. A car is necessary in order to move around freely.

Review 9：Personal attention was very friendly, they make you feel at home and offer their help at any requirement from guests. Hotel style is very cozy, rooms are very spacious, comfortable and had a great view to the sea and the mountains. Hotel facilities are very nice, clean. Breakfast was also good.

Review 18：damp like hell. The people are extremely money hungry grubbers. They hold your passport hostage until you leave and it's returned to you damp like the hotel. They have a dog which snarls and growls... seriously needs to be tied. No A/C... ants everywhere, bathroom disgusting. What a dump, left after the first night.
