Review 1：excellent location right on the lake. very comfortable room with beautiful view of the lake and the castle. room was suggested by the stuff member. beautiful breakfast/dining area with lake view. very friendly and supportive stuff.

Review 2：Would have been nice to have had screen on the doors and fan to circulate the air. The air conditioner was off and only heat was available.

Review 8：Fabulous location and brilliant staff. we were welcomed with our two newfoundland dogs and given a lovely ground floor room with its own terrace. We were the only guests out of season but were treated really well and nothing was too much trouble.

Review 13：When booking a room with a balcony be ready for a 'parking view' if you don't take a lake view specifically. Also, in case of a lake view room, better take earplugs since the hotel is separated from the lake by a pretty noisy street. As the most annoying you might consider so popular motorbikes/scooters. But don't we love Italy despite this? :)

Review 14：Breakfast in the garden :) quite big variety of products available inclusive eggs prepared to own choice; nice & helpful stuff; we stayed one night only as a stopover on the way from Sardegna though had a good time there. The little town of Bolsena seemed to be a very cute place, especially the castle - it was part of our morning run. Better ask for a storage options if travelling with bikes since we saw some kept on a balcony.

Review 35：After landing at Rome airport we had to drive through a violent thunderstorm which did not augur well. However, we were met at reception by a smiling young lady who organised coffee & biscotti for us. As the weather was still bad we decided to dine at the hotel and the meal was excellent. Breakfast each morning was served in the tastefully decorated dining room with a good variety of cold meats, etc. but also omelettes, scrambled eggs if required. Our room was spotless with a view of the lake and the pool was set in a garden area. The staff were were extremely friendly, particularly the dining room manager and the young receptionist who recommended visit to a nearby mediaeval town which we wouldn't have known about otherwise. The weather was beautiful for the rest of our stay. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Review 36：A good 4 star hotel. Was reluctant to book it at first as from the photos it didn't seem to have any character...too modern in appearance for our usual choice...BUT the facilities, location and staff made up for this. When it's 35 C, being in a hotel on a lake with a swimming pool is the best place to stay. We'd gladly book again. A good place to stay the first night after landing in Rome, about 90 km north of the city.

The Wi Fi did not work and a basic request forice in my drink could not be met! They didn't have any!

We also didn't likehaving an assigned place for breakfast; it made it seem a bit corporateand really wasn't necessary as the hotel wasn't that busy at the time.The quality of the coffee was surprisingly poor; served in a large urn -a 4 star hotel really should be making it fresh. Guests were reduced toordering their coffee from the bar, which is not a good sign at all! Notea-making facilities and the fridge wasn't much use at chilling drinks.Again, not good enough for a 4 star hotel. The cleaner was really nicebut didn't have enough time to do a really good job - not her fault andI don't want to suggest the room was actually dirty, just not quite 4star standard in the bathroom, the shower in particular really needsupgrading. Having to pay for wifi is ridiculous in this day and age.Sorry to sound negative as we really enjoyed our stay and wouldrecommend the hotel, these are just things that could/should beimproved. The pool and its staff are perfect and should set the standardfor everyone else on the team.

Review 49：The hotel has a great pool with ample loungers and a pool-side cafe/barwhere the staff were particularly friendly and helpful. It gave theplace a very relaxing and luxurious feel. The location right on the lakebut set back inits own spacious and well-tended garden at the quieterend of the lake was perfect for us. Our room had a really big balcony sowe were able to hang out running kit and swimming things, which madelife easier. Our room looked directly on to the lake, which isbeautiful, so provided plenty of opportunity to sit out and read, have aglass of wine, or just enjoy the truly splendid view.

Review 50：We had room 104, on the second level with an open balcony facing the lake. Our room with its view were fantastic...we loved everything about this hotel, especially it's location and view! I can not say enough about the location and view! The hotel was very easy to find and easy walking distance to everything we wanted to see. The room was elegant and clean. The breakfast was very good. On site parking was free. We had a great swim in the pool. Our two night stay at Holiday Hotel were among the best in Italy! I would absolutely stay again, and recommend this hotel to everyone! Thank you Holiday Hotel for a wonderful stay! We loved Lake Bolsena!

Review 51：The aircon struggled in our room, perhaps because we were at the end of the hall, facing the lake. The bed was on the firm side.

Review 52：The location was ideal overlooking the lake, and close walking distance to cafes and a ten minute walk to the main square. The pool was lovely, and the gardens around the property were well maintained. Breakfast was included and was a good variety. The hostess in the restaurant was very nice. The room was spotless. Next time I would get a room with a balcony overlooking the lake. It costs extra but would be worth it. Also ther is lots of parking and the hotel is secure.

There is a lovely promenade for walking, goodaccess to the lake for swimming and the hotel is just a short walk toseveral very good lakeside restauants and cafes. The hotel's swimmingpool was also a very welcome retreat after a long hot day exploring thenearby Tuscan hill cities. We highly recommend the Hotel Holiday and thetown of Bolsena.
