Review 1：The one of the staff members at the reception didn't understand english so well, so he didn't understand that we're interested in hiring the hotel's bicycles for the next day (this should be an option according the hotel description). After trying a few minutes we gave up.
Review 2：Very clean and peaceful, short walk from shops, old buildings and the beach. Room was very clean and staff friendly and helpful. The hotel has two terraces and one on the rooftop, with tiny pool (great for spending the hot day) and a beautiful view. You can enjoy your snack on one of the terraces and watch the sunset there. We spent one night there on July 2015.
Review 3：The air conditioning was a bit noisy at times but the room had a fan as well so it wasn't really a problem.
Review 4：Hotel Ariston is a perfect place for budget travellers. We stopped off on our way from Pisa to Elba. The location was very convenient, staff extremely helpful and we were amazed both by their knowledge and good English. We liked the rooftop area with a mini pool and the fact that the room had a small fridge which we used for deli products and prosecco from Coop supermarket just round the corner. Small rocky beaches nearby, a nice sandy beach 30-40 minutes walk. Lots of restaurants and gelaterias.
Review 5：Staff were lovely especially Catalynna (young girl in front desk) great English very helpful! friendly and knowledgable person - made our stay lovely! Even on check in we arrived early and she let us go to rooftop to sunbathe and relax! Rooftop is relaxing very small pool but lovely to dip in and out as very warm in summer! Peaceful and quiet! Lovely breakfast - bread croissants hams eggs fresh fruits etc. all the staff were friendly, they let us do laundry on stay! Basically a warm hearted hotel with staff who go that extra mile! It's few minutes walk from train station, two minutes from massive supermarket with numerous cafes and restaurants on doorstep! Beach is only a walk away. Perfect location, would stay again! Best air con we experienced in the whole of Italy! We came here wanting a relaxing stay in a local area. We got so much more thanks to these kind people at hotel ariston! Ps you can hire bikes for free from hotel and explore this gorgeous old town too.

Review 7：We really enjoyed our bright room (pictured with the orange/blue leaf art). It was not facing the street and was quiet all night long. The bathroom is updated and clean. The WiFi signal is strong as there was a router for our 4th floor room. Very close to train station and only a 1 mile walk to the ferry. Huge grocery store close by.

Review 29：The owner hardly speaks English. We had an initial reservation viq bookings.con for two nights, and he supposed we want to leave, without askinw wether we want to stay any longer... Finaly we stayed two more beuatiful days.
Review 30：Not all rooms have Air Conditioning. For those that do, it only works with a room key. Many rooms face on to an internal courtyard.

Review 38：Bicycles are from supermarket, heavy and hard in ride on mountains (weride a red road from Piombino to Populonia, so it was the best test forthose bicycles).Near to the Zona Industriale - sometimes smells like hell, but this is Piombino, you have to know that there is this Zona Industriale and like it or not ;). The hotel isn't soundproofed, so you can hear everything from the street, next room and the corridor. ;)
