Review 1：This is not a reflection on the hotel but if want to get around into Sorrento, to the beach or even to local restaurants you will spend a fortune on taxi's. Sorrento taxi's are ridiculously expensive .. It is basically 30 euro's for 1 way trip anywhere! So in day one of stay, we spent 120 euros for a trip to the beach which is only a mile or two away and a trip to a local restaurant!

Review 2：The staff were so helpful and friendly especially Roberta and Roberto. The hotel is beautiful and us much better in real life than the pictures.

Review 3：The showers are terrible. Our party had two rooms and both were equipped with exotic style shower stalls with sprays in every imaginable direction. The problem is that the place has little water pressure and it was almost hard to get wet. Furthermore the shower stalls are incredibly small and both showers leaked gallons of water onto the floor. We had to use most of our towels each day to simply mop up huge puddles. They really need to change these showers. Maid service was sub-par (dust bunnies under furniture) and one night we couldn't sleep due to cigar smoke wafting up from the lobby (the night clerk did agree to stop smoking when I confronted him but the damage had been done).

Review 4：The building is quite beautiful and unique, the rooms are very nice, the grounds are lovely with olives, pomegranates and figs growing on the trees. But don't be misled by the pictures of a restaurant and buffet. The restaurant area is only for special events. This is strictly a bed and breakfast arrangement. The breakfast was a good example of continental style (don't expect eggs and bacon). You need a car to stay here since it is not in Sorrento itself but it is a good base for visiting the area.

Review 5：We had a little accident - broken glass of a car door. Bruno arranged glass repair within one day (instead of authorized auto service station, which suggested 5 day for supply of new glass) and we could continue our journey.

Review 7：The place was very stylish and tastefully decorated. The ladies were extremely accommodating and helpful with organizing our space and pizza takeaway. Lovely views and location, though challenging to get to ,was worth the effort. Pool znd outside dining was great . Breakfast was wonderful.

Review 16：The inadequate directions in English. Needs a clearer reference where to turn left from the main road -- like by the sign for the Pizzeria/Ristorante.

Review 18：Shower was slightly small since it had a spa/jet system incorporated. Without this it would have been great.
