Review 1：WiFi could be a lot better, the place is in a pretty spot but in the middle of nowhere so nothing to do nearby.

Review 5：The building was an old monastery, now after the renovation is simply wonderfull. Don't miss this hotel. The staff is very helpfull. We did not try the ristiorate, but we will test it soon.

Review 6：In the description of the hotel there was no reference that it was located in the middle of nowhere. I had gathered it must lie in Cherasco town. We took ages to find the hotel at night.

Review 7：The staff was forthcoming, the room was well equipped for the price, enough towels and a towel-heater. Ample breakfast of very good quality - e.g. the buns on the first day were exceptional for Italy.

Review 9：I had read many good reviews so sadly expected more than what we got. The rooms were quiet big, with a separate living area, but it was not arranged in a comfortable manner so we hardly spent any time lounging there. The furniture was uncomfortable and the decor not very inviting. It looked a bit like an abandoned palace with cheap furniture. The bedroom curtain fell off when I tried to open it, there was no soap in the room, the towels didn't smell very clean and there were only two pillows which were flat. There was no sitting area in the lobby and the Terrasse looked abandoned and also with no places to lounge. The location was a bit remote. The only positive thing was the food in the restaurant which was quite good, and the staff were also quite friendly. I would recommend other hotels in this region but sadly due to busy truffle season we didn't have many available choices.

The owner is very helpful and suggested and offered me a wonderful wine. All are very friendly. Englisch is spoken, not everywhere common in Italy. Thanks a lot for all. A place to feel excellent.

Review 31：The waiter was slow beyond comparison (maybe due to a way of life!) We sat waiting for coffee after a two course meal which lasted for nearly three and a half hours only to find that we think he had forgotten us and gone home! Maybe he was visiting a girlfriend as he was on his mobile phone and ignoring us half way through taking our orders!

And when that finished, it was the church bellringing several times an hour, then the dogs barking and the roosters atdawn that kept us up. A very bad night, which is unfortunate as it wassuch a charming place.
