Review 1：The hotel is on the top floor of an apartment block, with the oldest lift ever. Very rickety and not suitable for luggage and travellers. We asked for extra pillows and we never received them. The bathroom was very outdated and the shower was worst than useless. There was very limited choice for breakfast.

Review 2：as its view is best On the other hand, its location is not the best and in city center, if you are going to travel a lot around sorrento, capri, possitano etc. you will need to walk to metro or city center to catch the bus. Remember it is not the sorrento but pino di sorrento - which is more quite but bit far.

Review 3：Its a very nice hotel near the sea. View is great and if nothing else only for view it is worth, however staff is nice rooms are large and specious, great coffe on breackfast and what else you neeed on a late september holiday.

Review 4：- poor breakfast; - is not clean, especially in bathroom (smell and dirt); - plaster fallen in the bathroom and outside the building - No WiFI access for mobiles, the following message was posted "We apologize for any problems with WiFI but unfortunately, the telephone connection in Italy are not yet up to standard for the technology", which is not true, the Wi FI is working well in all restaurants. - expensive for what they offered

Review 10：There's no public transport nearby. Only u get a bus at 8;15 am or 9:30 am from outside the hotel. Other times u can either walk to the train station (20 min walk) or hire a taxi. The lift was too small to fit two people with bags. Breakfast was also average

Review 12：great terraces that are looking to the mountains or tha sea. In the night mountains and the sea coast is all in lights. Quite calm and silent. Wifi was good for Skype conferences. The signal straight and quite high speed.

Review 15：Some criticised the location of the hotel in piano di sorrento because of the distance to Sorrento. Indeed, piano di sorrento is not Sorrento! But that should be clear, when looking up the location on a map. And piano was perfect for us, because its way less touristic than sorrento, has lots of good restaurants (with very good prices) and the distance to sorrento is still walkable (we walked there almost every day and it took us about half an hour).

Review 18：Not so close to sorrento but you can walk it or bus down there.It wasn't that far so to save money we didn't mind.there is a local train station close by to get to sorrento so don't be discouraged by this because we would stay again

Review 20：elevator is very small and scary only 2 people can go at a time. electricity was out when we checked in. took 2 hours to get it back we were 3 people in a triple room and the managerrefused to give us extra room keys. the key was needed to keep the electricity on (air condition as well) I wanted to sleep and my friends wanted to go out and not togther.. only after many arguments we got one more key and where told a third one will only be given the next day (when we checked out) at breakfast the manager stood watching us eat gave us a creepy feeling like he is making sure we don't eat too much.

Review 22：Wouldn't recommend this place. I'm not one to give a poor review. Beds were really really hard, wifi always dropping out and towels/sheets looked worn out. Would have overlooked this all if staff were welcoming and helpful. Seemed like an effort when I asked for information on how to get around. Given all the other places to stay in Amalfi I'd try someone else.

Review 24：The area is beautiful and tranquil with all the excitement in Sorrento, two kilometers away. Shuttle is good going in to Sorrento, not so good coming back. Taxi's are very expensive. Best bet is a 20 minute walk to the center of Piano. Take the street with the sidewalk. Very pleasant and safe walk. Train and bus run every 30 minutes or so. WIFI can be interrmitant.

Review 25：The staff met us at the lift to help with luggage. We chose the smaller Sea view room as opposed to the larger garden view room. It was a good choice.The view from the terrace was superb, overlooking the bay and the harbor. Everything very clean. The entire area was uncrowded and beautiful. Breakfast was a nice typical European spread and the view was stunning. Staff was friendly and responded well to our questions and requests. One very nice restaurants close by and two other are ok. Spent a week there and would love to do it again.Walk to the village center is pleasant and safe and worth the walk. Lots of shops and cafe's. Easy access to Sorrento or Pompeii via train or bus.

Review 26：The location was far out of the Sorrento central town. I had to catch a train to get into the central to meet up with friends.

Review 28：My main recommendation to the hotel is this: make it easier for guests who do not have their own transportation to get there. Give clear directions about getting to the hotel by train and then walking from the train station. Send a very clearly marked map. I wandered around town for about an hour trying to find the place. Also, there is a shuttle bus from Sorrento. It would be best to have this information before you arrive, not after you have already arrived.

Review 29：The very best thing about this hotel is the beautiful view of the sea and the private balcony you get to enjoy that view. A word to guests: (1) be aware that the hotel is in Piano di Sorrento, which is not part of Sorrento, as I thought when I made the reservation. Piano di Sorrento is a town two railroad stops away. I made that mistake, and it was a bit of an ordeal to get to the hotel. It is good value once you get there--a wonderful view and for less than a hotel in Sorrento, but if the getting there is too much work, at some point the pleasure of the view is not so great. Ricella (I hope I am spelling her name right), a staff member they have who speaks English, was extremely helpful and kind.

Review 30：Cleaning/storage area next to our room sometimes noisy. Toilet sometimes temperamental. Minor complaints - someone always available to help us.

Review 31：Panoramic view from balcony. Across street from beaches and park ,convenient walk to fine(Hotel Ripetta) and casual dining, gelato shop. Less than a mile walk to town center along lovely, straight road, with park, restaurants, PO, bank, discount grocery along the way. Literally around the corner from Monday Market. Cheerful, helpful staff (at any hour.) Felt safe at any hour. Website showed a small, plain room, no surprise. Found the place charming, not shabby. Very good value for a modest price. Would return.

Review 55：This is a good little hotel set in a great area near the marina. A 10 minute walk to the train station which provided good access to Sorrento (4 mins) and Pompeii (25 mins). I stayed in room 204 which had a great sea view.

Review 56：The elevator is ancient and extremely small (only fits two people without luggage!). Hotel is actually located on the fifth floor of what it seems to be a residential building? There were a lot of children screaming and banging the walls next door, but the staff said they couldn't do anything about it. Hotel is very far from Sorrento and there are really no restaurants nearby. I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all. The only thing worth about it is the view!
