Review 1：Great swimming pool. Good food. Good Ayervedic services though the massage person was 30 minutes late arriving. There were issues with added fees and taxes tacked on after I prepaid the whole bill( including all taxes) thr first night. The manager said it was only a "deposit". We asked for an early check in but we were put into a room with dirty sheets.

Review 2：They dont have propser Invoicing with service tax registration number or VAT, giving a receipt which carries no details. Food is exorbitantly costly in general and they charge morning breakfast buffet Rs.350/- for children aged above 5 years,

Review 3：Need a professional security staff during the night. In the back of the delux room building is filthy with garbage and the area is unhealthy. Need a coffee maker in the room.

Review 5：- attached auto was expensive - dinner at restaurant is expensive and below Kerala standards - staff needs proper training (both front desk and restaurant). - TV is from 80's - lake, which is actually a backwater, is a bit dirty - Crows keep chirping so much that it is disturbing

Review 7：The worst staff I have experienced in India, especially highly incompetent and rude waiters, overpriced services and amenities (beware of taking a hotel cab or tuk tuk as they would charge you quadruple the market price), boat rides after 3 days could be tiresome for a family that moves back and forth from the pool to the hotel apartment with the kids

Review 9：The bedsheets had marks-were not changed so i asked to change but the staff argued its changed, i had to call manager and show him yellow spots, the night staff guy was so rude when i asked for blanket..If you are young and willing to cross the water passage by boat every few minutes for using restaurant, of if you are staying next to restaurant then using boat to go to main road to go to town or for using Ayurveda clinic or for using swimming pool then its ok. If you have elders or kids or in wet situation its not advisable to use this resort as the boat used will be of no help

Review 29：- since the resort is fairly isolated, the management tries to charge double/ triple the normal amount for any service; - food at the restaurant is of poor quality (we could barely eat any of the dishes we ordered); nevertheless, the prices they charge are two/three times more expensive than what you would pay in Trivandrum, Kovalam; - cleanliness/ hygiene - we saw cockroaches, spiders even a rat in the rooms/restaurant area; - location - although the location looks to a canal with coconut groves and to the beach, the area is not kept clean (rubbish piles on the beach; rubbish floating in the canal) and attracts a lot of crows, which creates a constant noise (huge number of crows circle around the location and create an unpleasant vibe) - staff - although eager to help, the staff appears badly managed (we saw the manager of the resort scream out loud to the reception staff in front of the guests; the waiters' uniforms were so old, that you could see wholes in their dirty black ties; the bed sheets were old and worn-out); - ayurveda center - the prices they charge are 2 to 4 times what you would pay in Kovalam; - facilities and furniture appear very old and not well maintained; the bathroom shower was barely running water, spraying water from all different places but the shower itself; Overall, we were left with the feeling that the management tries to squeeze any possible dollar from us without offering much in return. You could get much better value for money going to Kovalam and also get better access to restaurants and ayurvedic treatment.

Review 32：Overall the hotel, staff and facilities were excellent.I had originally booked the a smaller room in the annex on the mainland, however, the room was very small with little storage, and due to the location felt isolated from the rest of the hotel. As this was my last week in India, i decided to upgrade to to a absolutely amazing room with balcony overlooking the lake and the sea. Bumped my costs up considerably, but was worth every penny. The staff were very helpful in arranging this. The room was very spacious, clean and light, with floor to ceiling windows and door opening up onto a balcony from which i viewed the setting sun on most evenings. The decor was modern with Indian touches with the artwork and lampshade. Room included a fridge and safe. The bathroom was also clean and spacious. hot water was intermittent though, but i didn't mind.As i was on a Ayurveda diet, this became a bit monotonous, but the food at the restaurant was very tasty, breakfast options were limited but sufficient. A little on the costly side though.The short boat ride across was also a highlight of the day to slowly drift across to restaurant was always relaxing and calming before breakfast, lunch and dinner.The Ayurvedic Centre was fantastic, and i decided to go on a week long treatment plan with daily massage treatments. Absolute Bliss is all i can say!! The Doctor and the therapists were amazing. I came back home feeling revitalized and energized.The events for Xmas and New Years eve were fantastic, with the traditional entertainment, and the buffet dinner. New Year was especially entertaining, with the traditional drummers.Wifi was pretty decent, as the router was just outside my room, and with good connection speeds.Airport pick and drop off were expensive, but were prompt ad efficient. Pick up driver had waited for me, even though my flight had been delayed by a hour.

Review 33：The hotel is under construction and there was work untill 5.00am!!!!!!The hotel manager is not at all interested in the wellbeing of theirguests!!! Restaurant is closed - only room service!!!

Review 35：Management could be more generous, only one bottle of water during our 7 day stay and they charged for 2 pieces of extra toast! No other hotel in India were so mean. The beach was covered in rubbish. Building works started during our stay which spoilt our stay.

I didnt like that throughout all ourstay, we couldnt access the internet although we needed it a lot. Ididnt like that the hotel is not friendly with guests to charge them toand from the airport for 700 rupees and the airport is just near whileother hotels in india seemed much nicer to drop and pick up for free.Finally, pay attention to mosquitos because they are everywhere at thathotel (big ones).

Review 38：I liked the location and environment... It was really cool to stay atthat hotel! We had fun swimming in the pool which was clean all thetime. The room was ok "although I paid for a super deluxe one"but mine didnt show any bit of luxe.

Review 41：The lack of alcoholic drink may be a drawback for some otherwise good stay. Could not adjust the powerful air conditioning and could not sleep without it on therefore slept in gale force wind for 3 nights.
