Review 1：The staff are always courteous and eager to please. They speak a number of different languages. The rooms are clean and adequate with clean bathroom with shower cubicle. With the castle, lake and mountains, you will have views from every window The breakfast choices are excellent

We researched hotels for weeks and were so unsure about which one but we definitely plan to return to Lake Garda and will be booking into this hotel again for sure.

Review 8：With a Location beside one of the best castles, with easy walk to funicular for Monte Baldo, which is stunning, Malcasine's beautiful cobbled alleyways which lead to many excellent bars, restaurants, shops of interest and easy access to boat trips, this hotel has so much to offer. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the breakfast is excellent, with an extensive choice, so there is something for everyone. The dinner menu is also excellent, with quality locally-sourced products wherever possible. There is a steep incline from the hotel to the town, which may prove difficult (along with the cobbled streets of the town), if you have walking difficulties, however two sets of elderly couples staying at the same time merely ordered taxis regularly to avoid the hill problem. Otherwise, the hill is part of the surprises that await your every turn.

Review 10：Loved the location of the hotel, just below the castle. Within easy walk of everything the town has to offer. Only a 10 minute walk from the harbour where the ferry dropped us off. The hotel staff were great and very friendly and helpful. The food at the hotel was lovely and there was a good choice at breakfast. The hotel room was clean and adequate with a nice view of the castle and lake. We would defiantly stay at this hotel again.

Review 11：Probably more typical of italy than the hotel itself but the standard rooms are quite small and basic for the money you pay but I suppose you are paying more for the location. There was free wifi but this was very temperamental as we were constantly having to re-submit details as it would log you out after a few minutes

Review 12：The staff were lovely and very accommodating. We were there for a family wedding and they really made an effort to make us all feel welcome. Breakfast was very good and the location excellent with beautiful views over the lake and only a 5 min walk to the castle

Review 40：Wonderful location. Did not need a car. Easy access to the gondola and ferry. The evening meal at 15 euros is a highlight of the stay. It consists of 5 well balanced courses and not a pizza in sight.

It's in a great location with amazing views, the staff/owners are so nice, and the hotel is clean, quiet and with lovely food and drink and all very reasonable prices. I arrived on my birthday and my girlfriend had arranged with them for a birthday cake to be brought into the restaurant in the evening for me which they did, and they didn't even charge her for it. The owners and all staff are super friendly and they really can't do enough for you. It is the only place to stay in Malcesine and I will definately be back

The hotel is at the bottom of a cobbled narrow street leading on to the lake, everywhere was clean the beds are comfortable, just a nice pleasant place to be, nice food and reasonably priced I would recommend this hotel to everyone. No privacy stall and not much of a view although we paid more for the view room. You didn't want to sit outside as others were only a few feet from you, felt like we had roommates. This room's price should be much less. Make sure you get a direct view room, not in a corner.

The room was perfectly appointed and the house staff kept it and the communal areas scrupulously clean. If there was a 6-star rating Hotel Castello Lake Front would get our votes.
