Reviews for Albergo Umbria

Review 1:Nothing

Review 2:This was a surprise for us, because we were only looking for a stop-over en-route to Greece, and wanted a hotel which was close to the highway. It is in a beautiful little town perched on a hilltop, with the old town in the centre. Stunning views all around, especially from the restaurant,

Review 3:pity the restaurant - with terrace and in the older part of the hotel - was closed that evening.

Review 4:The kind owner, 4th generation, who did everything to make our stay pleasant and convenient in the beautiful old village of Otricoli

Review 5:The hotel manager especially and all staff were exceptionally welcoming, attentive, helpful and considerate. The food and service were of the highest quality. I would be delighted to return

Review 6:The location was excellent, a perfect place to stop because of easy access to the A1. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were adjoining as requested because we were traveling with our teenage children. The restaurant was wonderfully atmospheric, the terrace overlooked miles of rolling Umbrian hills and the food was delicious and very good value. Would definitely recommend to others and hope to stay again.

Review 7:The family who owns the hotel were incredibly nice and accommodating. There were eight people in our party and wecwbrated a birthday while there. The food was excellent and the chocolate cake with candles and moscato was a perfect end to a lovely evening. Thanks so much.

Review 8:Family owned hotel, neat, very friendly and helpful.good food and they make you feel very welcome.its like home away from home.nothing is too much and the owners always have a smile. We reached at 12 midnight and the owner was waiting for us with a smile.the village itself is lovely and for anyone wanting to visit Rome it is only 1 hour by train from nearby station.staying here you can enjoy best of both worlds, country and Rome.

Review 9:room had cigarette smell

Review 10:Great friendly service

Review 11:Our host made us a reservation for their restaurant. Excellent food and company, a great first night in Italy. Thank you!

Review 12:Price is good and the restaurant of the hotel serves delicious food.

Review 13:nothing particular.

Review 14:We had very nice stay here. We arrived a bit late, but there was no problem to have nice dinner here. Food was very nice in a good price. I really recommend this hotel. 日本の方へ: お勧めです!

Review 15:The hotel is set back from the road and easy to miss but do not drive into the town centre - the streets are very narrow!

Review 16:Having arrived in Rome early evening it was an ideal one night stop en route to our final destination. Very friendly welcome. We ate a delicious meal in their restaurant. All the other diners were obviously family or friends and we felt included. Hotel is on the edge of a beautiful old hill-top town with narrow streets. The room was perfectly adequate but lacked character. Lots of hot water

Review 17:Nothing. All good.

Review 18:The family who own and run this hotel couldn't be nicer. Really helpful and, although late, very welcoming to their restaurant. Lovely pizzas. Very reasonable pricing. The gentleman who owned it also introduced us to the Roman remains, just at the foot of the hill, which are spectacular. He was very knowledgeable about the area and spoke excellent English. We would have been happy to stay longer if we could.

Review 19:Breakfast could be made a lot better by adding fresh bread.

Review 20:Perfect hotel for a stop on the way to Calabria. Quiet place. We had a room with a wonderful view over the hills. Very friendly and helpful people and good restaurant in the hotel.

Review 21:We were made to feel very welcome from check-in to check-out. The dinneron the panoramic terrace was also enjoyable. This is a beautifully andtastefully restored ancient building with all modern comforts. The veryhistoric town centre is only one minute walk away and perfect for astroll after dinner! This is a perfect stay between Rome and Florence oreven for a few days vacation to explore the Umbria/Lazio regions.
