Reviews for Locanda San Tomaso

Review 1:The guesthouse is right above a pub, which plays music until late night. Past midnight during a weekday and apparently until 2am during weekends. If you are paying to sleep somewhere you should not be waiting until this time to be untitled to some rest. The mattress as well was of very poor quality.

Review 2:Lovely rooms and decoration.

Review 3:I hadn't realised the roads nearby were so noisy. The accommodation has double glazing but if you are a light sleeper the traffic noise is noticeable particularly early in the morning.

Review 4:The staff were pleasant and efficient, the room was extremely clean, the shower was new and the room was more attractive than on the photos.

Review 5:make sure you inform property of the exact time of arrival so that manager is present at the location. Anyway we called the owner and he got to us with a key within 10 minutes.

Review 6:special romantic atmosphere, beautiful decor, tasty breakfast. size of the room, view, distrist of the city. Everything was an amazing experience. Thank you!

Review 7:The breakfast could have been a little more varied, too many cakes for my taste.

Review 8:The b&b was so beautiful and quirky and was set in an excellent location to explore Venice and also to walk around Treviso.

Review 9:The WiFi did not work well, poor signal, so that was frustrating. Also there was loud music playing late at night which made sleeping difficult.

Review 10:Decorated nicely with antiques, and very clean.

Review 11:nothing not to like

Review 12:Lovely place to stay room was fabulous , owners very friendly. Even letting us in before our time . Will defo stay here again.Brilliant location.

Review 14:This is a character-filled pensione with friendly staff who make you feel at home. great breakfast and drinks in a fridge 24 hrs on an honour system. Great quiet location looking out onto a canal. This is gem of a place

Review 15:Breakfast was only ok so we missed on our last morning the pillow were awful needed to be renewed feather would be good

Review 16:Loved the location the room was great liked that we could hire bikes the whole town was fantastic

Review 17:Very comfortable and like being at home! This is more a B&B but well worth staying at, the owner knew quite alot of English as we knew no Italian, he made our stay so nice and told us where to go and typical Italian cuisines which restaurant to go to, where to have a good Prosecco. We will definately go back to Treviso & stay there again. Highly recommend Locando San Tomasso!!

Review 18:Very difficult to find when traveling with a car, not marked at all. Staff speaks only Italian.

Review 19:Breakfast was excellent, interior of the property is very original and cosy.

Review 20:Mortadella on breakfast buffet was dried up on edge as if in fridge uncovered for a day.

Review 21:Perfect location with lots of parking available. Inside city walls parking on working days is not free and beware of the two market days, but just outside the gate there is free parking. Spacious and clean room and nicely decorated. Good selection for breakfast including two different Parmigiano style cheeses not usually found on breakfast buffets.

Review 22:The sign on breakfast sideboard stating that more than 2 hot drinks at breakfast would incur a charge! As stated earlier, poor sound proofing... Had to whisper in bedroom and bathroom

Review 23:Eclectic decor Good location

Review 24:So much too see and enjoy that our visit was too short.

Review 25:Beautifully decorated B&B, excellent breakfast, very helpful staff who adviced us on where to eat and great location for visiting Treviso and other local destinations. I highly recommend it and hope to return again soon.

Review 26:We do not have one negative comment.

Review 27:It was all just perfect. We didn´t expect so much hospitality and a homely like atmosphere. We were really happy with our decision to stay at Locanda San Tomaso and appreciate the friendliness we received. The owners, Martina and Beppe are great hosts. We will defiantly book again.

Review 28:It didn't bother us much, but the street can be noisy at night. There is a big street market on Saturday morning, and our car got towed. Wish the staff spoke more English. Also, many steps to the room. The original price booked in Booking.com did not include a child. There was an extra charge, 15 Euro/day.

Review 29:Nice comfortable 1 BR apartment with kitchen. Great air conditioning. Tastefully decorated. We enjoyed staying there. Treviso was a wonderful place to stay to visit Venice.

Review 60:There is some unavoidable road noise at peak times.

Review 61:This is the second time we have stayed at Locanda San Tomaso and we would have no hesitation in recommending it to other travellers. Our room was charming and the breakfast is of a high standard with pastries, cheeses, cold meats, eggs etc etc.

Review 62:Nothing

Review 63:It was my second stay in this family hotel and everything was grate again! Very nice rooms & the hotel in a whole! Everything is made with love! Good location in old city of Treviso! Delicious tiramisu in a restaurant downstairs!

Review 64:Website said there were safety deposit boxes-there were not as which was disappointing

Review 65:The friendly staff and quirky building. Breakfast and location also good

Review 66:Because location is by public parking where (Saturday) market is set up, parking further away [~ 500 m] was required for Friday night stay. Bar nearby was loud until ~ 2 am. At 6 am, market setup started (also loud)... Many steps to climb to room or breakfast.

Review 67:Very friendly staff. Just inside walls of Treviso, and if you wanted to visit the Saturday market, it was literally right outside your door. Decent selection of items for normal Italian breakfast.

Review 68:the location was perfect. the staff very very friendly and the room (we had an entire apartment for the 2 of us!) very cosy and well arranged. Dinner at the Trattoria San Tomaso (just outside the locanda) was very pleasant and the food very good

Review 69:Really warm welcome when we arrived. The whole place is beautifully designed, a delight to cast your eyes over. Each room (we peered in a few the next morning!) is unique and filled with interesting objects, beautiful art work, interesting books and is a delight to stay in. A real treat to stay in and totally unexpected. Would highly recommend staying here.

Review 70:This hotel is a very nice place to stay if you get up relatively early so that you don't mind the noise outside the hotel.

Review 71:Very charming and comfy hotel near the old town which is beatiful and a must visit if you stay in Treviso. The restaurant is very nice with romantic terrace and good mediteranean food & drinks. The breakfast was perfect too.

Review 72:Lots of character and great location next to city wall. View of canal and 8 min walk to centre. Highly recommended.
