Review 1：In second room, no clothes bar in wardrobe, bits of broken tile on bath floor, noise from the highway below the patio.

Review 3：WiFi was not reliable and very slow. Room was tiny, small window without any view.

Review 4：Perfect location if you want to start hiking early in the morning. Several restaurants and bars nearby (tourist hotspot).

Review 5：The staff had very poor English. They were not very attentive to the little we asked (such as to let us do early check-out and get a packed breakfast since we had to leave very early in the morning). The room smelled like sewage each time we flushed the water in the toilette.

Review 6：The location near the cable car was great, we also received a 30% discount from the hotel. The breakfast was ok and nicely served. We liked the fact that they make you the coffee you ask for in the bar. The hotel is also close to a few small craters (10 min walk from the hotel) and has great view.

Review 8：The location for Mt Etna is unbeatable. Very friendly staff. The restaurant is good and seven big portions! Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. When staying at Rifugio, you get a discount for cable car & 4x4 (ask at reception)

Review 9：Personal very friendly, although the cottage was empty, it gave me the smallest room.They have changed it yet at my request. Breakfast poor, and the room where it was served was haunted by flies! At 8:30 hires came from the funicular and from the upper station stores and you can not enjoy your coffee in peace or to serve breakfast. Wi-fi very weak and no signal morning.

Review 11：The staff is not very friendly. Our room at the 2nd floor was clean but super basic, not well maintained and dated, and also relatively expensive. The walls are very thin, so you can listen to your neighbors. The food at dinner was mediocre and pricey.

Review 17：We were so thankful to the staff who went above and beyond to help us when our vehicle could not get up the mountain due to snow. They personally went out of their way and sent two vehicles to get our family and luggage. They were kind to make sure we made it back to our vehicle the following day and that we were safe for our journey back down the mountain. Be smart and make sure you get chains during winter months!

Review 19：The location, the view to Catania a long way below us, especially at night. The generous discount we were given for the cable car up Etna.A good buffet breakfast (except after a large dinner there the night before reduced our capacity!)

Review 20：This place has everything you can ask for and the service is great. I'd say forget staying in Catania because there's a beauty of living on a volcano for a couple of days. Views are breathtaking from the room and we could hear a bit of an eruption at the time too. You're right next to the tours and the drive up the volcano is really easy because the roads are so good. Only adds an extra half hour to the airport and the toll road is a beautiful quiet route (toll is 50 cents so totally worth it). My girlfriend sprained her ankle and the staff were very quick to help us out with a bucket of ice and painkillers. Really good pizzeria downstairs too.

Review 21：Only when we checked out we were informed that the hotel offers a price reduction on the mountain cable car to Etna. This was too late as we took the cable car in the afternoon the day before. So make sure to ask for the voucher upon your arrival.
