Reviews for Venice Treviso Airport Bed
Review 1:Very loud street noise. Soundproof windows would be a comfort improvement for guest and a plus for the hotel.
Review 2:Convenient location in front of the airport. Possibility to store the luggage, early in the morning ... before check-in, at “Deposito Bagagli” placed near B&B building (staff seems to manage both locations). The heating system worked very well.
Review 3:It was noisy, I couldn't go asleap until 1am, due to traffic on the road and the noise from other rooms. I think wall are thin and you can hear anything like voices, and when others are moving on their bed. Signal of wifi in my room was at minimum, phone was unable to stay connected.
Review 4:It's right in front of the airport, you have only to cross the street.
Review 5:Where should we start? Should have known there would be a problem when the "reception" was in a garage. Internet never worked. Slept in our clothes since we just didn't think the place was clean. There was a sink in our room. In no way were we sharing a down the hall bathroom. Not sure when the last time that shower was cleaned or the plastic shower curtain changed. Gives me the creeps just remembering it. Ahh, the decor: when was the last time you hung curtains on the door with thumb tacks? "Coffee/Tea" in the hall way. No think you. Quite possibly the loudest place I have ever stayed. Really sad when the airport looked like a better solution yet we stayed since we had to pay up front. It is disgusting!!!! And the only reason I picked this was the location. Had I know I would have not chosen this as I found out many others didn't choose it as well. They stayed at a nice spot and took a cab.
Review 6:The ONLY good thing is that the hotel was across the street from the airport.....and there was alcohol downstairs
Review 7:It's just a hostel with toilets in the corridor. Old windows can not provide the silence and mosquitos take the advantage of the lack of mosquito nets strive to eat you at night. Wi-fi signal is simply absent.
Review 8:The hotel is located directly across from the airport.
Review 9:Although we had our own bathroom with the family room, it was still across the hall. Check in is a little stressful if you don't have a way to call them or don't know exactly when you will be there.
Review 10:Great for early morning flights especially with children. Plenty of room for the family.
Review 11:The description of the hotel says there's internet everywhere, this is not true. If you stay in the next building the Internet does not reach that far. Also, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, would not recommend if you're looking for quality and comfort.
Review 12:Location was very convenient, right across the street from the airport. There's also a little restaurant next door.
Review 13:Trembling windows (planes setting off and landing?) Anyway, the airport is closed from 11pm till 6am.
Review 14:Decent room. Wash sink inside the room. Location (right across the road from the airport). A kettle and a fridge in the corridor (so that you can bring your own food - no breakfast provided).
Review 15:Shared single bathroom between all (four?) bedrooms contained both toilet and shower, difficult to manage at peak times! Rooms spartan but not uncomfortable although no bin in bedroom OR in bathroom seemed strange.
Review 16:Efficiency, proximity, value for money, all better than could be hoped for, property is a guest house not a hotel, was well managed and coordinated, with clear communication prior to arrival. (Watch out if your flight arrives after about 22:30, make sure you notify them and be prepared for small surcharge if you arrive at the property after 23:00.) Shared kettle and fridge/freezer in hall appreciated! VERY easy to locate the house almost directly in front of the airport, two minutes' walk with luggage no problem.
Review 17:The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, the felt dirty, our small tv was broken and we had a shared bathroom. Our room was right next to the bathroom, so every time someone left their room it woke us and we could hear people showering and going to the rest room all through the night. The woman that ran the property claims to be multi-lingual but spoke no English at all.
Review 18:We liked that it was directly across from the airport, made it very convenient for an early morning flight. We were also able to print our boarding passes for our flight for 10 euro compared to the 45 euro Ryanair charges pp.
Review 19:I stayed in the guest house and had a room directly overlooking the street. It was nice, until I got into bed and tried to sleep. I know there is nothing that can be done to change this, it was just a bit noisy for me.
Review 20:I loved the convenience of the location. It was so easy to get up for my early morning flight, knowing I just have to walk across the street to get to the airport.
Review 21:I stayed in the single room immediately to the right of the front door for one night. The next morning, I found over 10 bed bug bites on exposed skin; feet, arms and neck.
Review 22:Wifi was barely there, there was stronger signal of airport wifi in room than the hostel wifi. Printing of boarding passes are charged at 10 euros per piece, depositing of luggage is charged at 5 euros per piece per day.
Review 23:Room was located opposite airport, very convenient.
Review 24:The beds : really uncomfortable and broken. It is very noisy. Cold atmosphere. No TV. The little lights around the bed were broken. I think they have different room and we were probably just unlucky with our room.
Review 25:Near the airport, you just have to cross the road to take your flight.
Review 26:We found that the toilets were very dirty, the bed uncomfortable, the bedroom noisy. The good part was that the airport was right in front of the hotel.
Review 27:In the evening, the sound of motors can be heard. In the morning, we wake up to catch the flight, you need to wait to use washroom since other guests also need it.
Review 28:The room has well facilitates.
Review 29:The personal is not so kind. We asked for tv control and nobody help us. Dont forget to print your board tickets in advance because they will print you but 10 € each!!
Review 30:It is a clean bed and breakfast
Review 31:everything
Review 32:Absolutley nothing, filthy, dirty hovel, would never ever stay there again not even for 10 mins. If you like dirt, grime no air con then go you will enjoy.
Review 33:No AC when outside was over 30 degrees (august) + mosquitoes when the window was opened.
Review 34:location was perfect for transfer o he airport early morning (next to the airport).
Review 35:Really not prepared to receive guests. It was really really hot and they didn't even have a fan (although when I asked for they gave me one).
Review 36:Really near the airport
Review 37:The water knob for shower was broken. The window handle also fall off. I think this can be improved.
Review 38:the location is no doubt, perfect for early flight.
Review 39:You have for the receptionist to arrive as most of the time it is closed. We asked for a small ventilation fan but all sort of excuses were put forward. Our rooms were not ready when we arrived so we had to wait for the receptionist and then the maid to fix our rooms and there is a shared bathroom and no breakfast offered. For what it offers, it is quite expensive.
Review 40:It is infornt of the Venice Treviso Airport
Review 41:Very old building, very old furniture. The door opened suddenly in the middle of the night cause of the wind, even if it was locked. I felt like sleeping in a dubious place.
Review 42:Very close to Treviso airport. Good price. Free wi-fi.
Review 43:The windows were missing some important pieces, you could not effectively close them. The room was located in the 2nd floor near the street crossing in front of the airport. You can imagine how loud such a street can be, especially when the windows can't be closed. We couldn't sleep until 1 AM, when the traffic went quiet. The beds were awful and very narrow (70-80 cm). The shower handle was broken, as was the air conditioner which produced noise with little cooling effect
Review 44:Nothing positive can be said about this accomodation...
Review 45:The room was far too hot - unbearable during the night, as no air con, which made sleep impossible. The shared bathroom was unclean. There is a LOT of noise, not only from the bar downstairs and the main road but also surrounding apartments - made sleep minimal.
Review 46:Location is directly across the street from the airport, you can not miss it, especially due to the neon sign! The staff were very helpful, when they discovered our room hadn't been set up correctly they sorted it out straight away.
Review 47:The power went out in our building about 6 times. apparently, the building can't support 3 working airconditions at a time.
Review 48:Nothing.Everything was baisicly horrible.
Review 49:Excellent position if You arrive by plane, the room was okej standard but to warm, no working AC and with the window open the traffic noise was to loud.
Review 50:Bathroom needs refurbishment. Perhaps each room could have a bathmat issued with the towels?
Review 51:Neon bed sign on outside of building visible from airport exit. Friendly welcome. Sink in room was a welcome surprise. Very clean room. Lovely towels.
Review 52:No internet at all!! And the plugs too old...couldn't charge my phone! No reception between certain times.
Review 53:I liked the location. Just two minutes walking to the airport. The room was OK.
Review 54:The owner of the hotel doesn't speak English. When I called her , she said that she doesn't speak English and after that she no longer answered the phone. We found the property using the gps. The hotel doesn't have a reception and we couldn't find anyone to open our room because she didn't want to answer the phone (she remembered our phone number and she didn't want to answer because she didn't know english). We needed to go to a restaurant and ask them to call her. She answered at the first call. Even though she knew we were coming, we needed to wait 20 minutes to prepare our room. She blocked the money on our card right after booking, as the cancelling was free until the day of arrival ( I think that she was hoping that we couldn't find her, so she could get the money without renting the room) The temperature in the room was above 30 centigrades celsius. There was no air conditioner. We couldn't sleep because of the high tempersture in the room and the noise from the airplanes. The TV was finding only one channel, the remote was broken (we had 1/3 of the remote control) There was almost no furniture besides the beds. There were a lot of mosquitos.
Review 55:The position
Review 56:It was an average place. I would compare it to a Hostel house. It looked old and run down from the outside. Cutting the grass would be a step in the right direction. Adding new paint to the inside would help too. I asked for a fan three times and never received it. If it wasn't so late and we didn't have already have reservations, we probably would have stayed somewhere else. It was also had to sleep because of the hard beds and noise from next door. Between the employees hanging outside and resturant next door, we went able to get some rest until after 11. If I was the owner, I would feel a little embarrassed by the accommodations.
Review 57:Location
Review 58:There wasn't a TV as advertised and the Wifi did not reach the room as advertised
Review 59:I liked that it was just across the street from the airport. I liked that there was AC
Review 60:We were in an annex and Wifi was poor. A suggestion - coffee and tea were provided but no milk. Maybe there could be powdered milk.
Review 61:I don't think any airport hotel could be any nearer to an airport. The bathroom was clean and well fitted. We were given a voucher for breakfast (coffee and croissant) in the bar below.
Review 62:Wifi did not work. Too late at night for asking anyone, though.
Review 63:Excellent location, good coffee downstairs, very good communication with the staff. Oh, did I mention the unbelievable location!:)
Review 64:The staff person waited extra late as my aeroplane was late. He didn't seem to be annoyed or ask for extra as I was later than the time that the hotel offers - thanks to that member of staff !
Review 65:Rooms look very old and tired. Very worn bed linen. In description they write that you can print your boarding passes on site, which is true, but they don't mention it costs 10€ per boarding pass (!). Airport hostel, nothing more.. wouldn't reccommend.
Review 66:Very good location, good wifi
Review 67:The bed was very uncomfortable. Also we felt like itching all the time.
Review 68:The location is great if you have to take a flight early or arrive very late. In front of the airport, just crossing the road
Review 69:In the restaurant we did not see the menu of drinks. The waiter fooled with too expensive red wine. 1 bottle 40 euros. It was too much with poor pizzas. At the sunny terrace we asked "birra grande". The service was 1 liter, 12 euros.
Review 70:wifi was not operational; does not reach the room and if you are lucky to get a signal it's so weak a standard search engine fails and drops connection
Review 71:proximity to the airport; friendliness, spacious room (2 twin beds)
Review 72:Whilst breakfast is not provided there is a cafe on the ohther side of the road
Review 73:It is the only place to stay at or near the Venice Treviso airport .it provide decent clean rooms at a very competitive price, book early
Review 74:Printing boarding pass costs 10€ per person. It just only 1 A4 paper. We are groups of 5 people so it cost us 50€ for boarding pass. We felt like we got ripped off.
Review 75:The beds were a bit hard, and the pillows were ridiculously flat and hard. Also, despite the promise of free wifi, I never got any wifi.
Review 76:Location was easy to find, especially at night and in the rain. The room was adorable and clean, and we relaxed soon after arrival.
Review 77:Far too expensive for what it is: shabby, old and dirty house (not a hotel), with the reception (not open all day) in the... garage! WIFI does not work in the room, TV channel only in Italian (one French, that’s all), shower not warm enough, old sheets with holes and indelible marks, people hardly speaks something else than Italian, breakfast to be begged and miserable (one coffee, one industrial pastry to be taken at the bar next door). 10 EUR to print the boarding pass (abusive !). Noisy. Does not take AMEX even if it’s accepted on Booking.com (people does not call you to tell you; I’ve discovered it by chance on my e-mails: thus stay connected, even during holidays, unless you will loose your reservation!). Electrical switch just above the bathtub (security?)
Review 78:Just opposite of the airport and this is why they abuse of the tourists
Review 79:The bed was small and narrow. The blanket was old. The bathroom was down the corridor - just about OK if you don't mind sharing. There was a kettle outside the room with green mould growing in it and a squeezy lemon with black mould growing around the top. The free wifi didn't work. No breakfast but that was a relief - at least I was happy with the hygiene in the airport cafe where I went asap. Wouldn't go back for anything - even though it was only 50 m from the airport.
Review 80:Struggling to think of anything I liked about this experience!
Review 81:hotel is actually a converted apartment building which is clearly still partially rented as apartment. facilities are minimal and wifi was spotty at best. lack of noise insulation, could hear babies crying in other apartments and plenty of road noise... bring earplugs if you are light sleeper.
Review 82:Literally across the street from the airport so excellent for early morning flights. rooms were nicely decorated and clean if not the fanciest i've ever seen.
Review 83:- The double bed was, actually, 2 single beds joined - Wi-fi didn't work at my room (the last, near the bathroom) - When I arrived, at 11.30pm, they told me that I could have made the check-out anytime at the next morning. However, at 10.30am we've been expelled in a very unpolite way. The attendant didn't heard what I was telling her and went away without listening to me. I was telling her that the night-attendant told me that I could make the check-out anytime at the morning, and for me it was up to 12am (that time was 10.30am). So, she went out and cut off the energy. We had to pack our things in the dark, and we couldn't even take a shower before leaving, although we've beg it. Terrible!
Review 84:- It's near to the Treviso Ariport - It was clean, the room was big
Review 85:Especially they say free WiFi and they even give us password and you never connects because out of range :) and the TV was not in a good state. Please fix some things for the benefit of you and guests... Thanks.
Review 86:we need a night near the Airport and it's just opposite the Airport.
Review 87:No heating in January, it is a mockery. The beds is outdated. Avoid it.
Review 88:I could say the location is perfect for a good hotel, but for this house it is a big disadvantage because people is cheated.
Review 89:There is no wifi in the room !! I had to go to the garage where is the reception to use free wifi. Also No coffee machine in the building where I was staying. Furthermore I only had one socket and the location of the socket was hidden as it was after the bed
Review 90:Great location for Treviso airport, the hostel is across the street. Comfortable beds and spacious room
Review 91:This is a old and dirty house. The bathroom wasn't cleaned and in the room, rest of food were everywhere. The white remote control was black of dirty. Very bad hotel (if you can call this hotel). Do not choose this place.
Review 92:We stayed in a room for four guest with a shower room There was only one heater and so cold that I caught a cold. There were a lot of dust below beds. The locks of the entrance and rooms seemed not to be strong. The shower room is stinky
Review 93:Very close to the airport.
Review 94:just one bathroom. a lot of strict rules (check in till 11 p.m.; 10 euros for printing a boarding pass etc) - they are a bit too greedy
Review 95:extremely close to airport, but far from city center. clean, big rooms
Review 96:Soundproofing to walls is a bit poor - I could hear muffled conversations and TV in adjacent room until late at night. TV in my room wasn't working.
Review 97:Ideal location for late flight, directly opposite airport and clearly advertised by a large neon image of a bed. Pleasant and efficient receptionist. Spacious and clean room. Reasonable price for room.
Review 98:Very basic with shared facilities.
Review 99:There is just one reason to stay here. It is brilliantly located opposite the airport terminal. Aircraft noise was not a problem because there are so few flights. It had a quirky sense of humour about it
Review 100:no bed-head to keep pillows on no reading light only one bathroom/toiletfor 4 rooms electric sockets hanging out of wall
Review 101:very clean ideally located bus from Treviso Central stops right outside great cafe below rooms
Review 102:noise of highway. would need earbuds to have a sleep.extortionate printing charges. euro 10 per print.
Review 103:spacious triple room at 1st floor. just across the airport. good for early/late flights.
Review 104:No elevator, only one canteen downstair and no other markets or shops nearby. No breadfast offered , but you could go to the airport's canteen (airport opens at 6:00am). Wifi only offered at the reception area, didn't work in the rooms.
Review 105:Location is perfect, bedrooms and bathrooms were large and clean.
Review 106:Everything. The linen hasn't been washed, it wasn't fresh, and we found a beetle in the bed. The room was wet and cold, the bathroom is awful.
Review 107:it's near the airport
Review 108:Very small rooms, no internet connection, no lift, old furniture, too expensive for that conditions!
Review 109:The bathroom was nice and this place is close to the airport
Review 110:The morning I woke up...I thought I was in a horror scene from the II world war...exactly like a hospital room from the second world war. The furniture has had even longer history.... Broken TV, concrete (no carpet) in the room, broken door handle and locker...weak electricity...very humid and smelly air in the room.
Review 111:Closeness to the Airport is the biggest advantage. The Object got kind of charm and a spirit doubtless...but it is necessary to invest in it.
Review 112:No Lift - not conformable if having a top floor room especially when with young kids and lots of luggage/baby equipment.
Review 113:Just opposite Treviso airport with private parking facility - excellent location for overstays.
Review 114:It is not a real hotel but more a hostel. The linen wasn't white but blue and yellow.
Review 115:It was clean and very close to the airport. it was important as we had an early flight.
Review 116:Many people use it to get an early flight. Our room was next to the front door, so I heard people leaving very early in the morning.
Review 117:Location is perfect. You come out of the airport, cross the road, and there it is already. Check in went perfect, with clear info on what to do when leaving the room (any time). Although it's very close to the airport, the noise of the planes is not loud.
Review 118:This was a house, and was built like a house, not like a hotel. Now the construction is deteriorated. Bed smel in the bathroom. Comfort is less than bad. No closet to put your belongings. We had a very early flight from Treviso airport, that's way we chose this location, but never again.
Review 119:Nothing
Review 120:No milk for the coffee, noisy outside
Review 121:Bed were good, room was clean, wifi worked good, shower was clean, staff was very friendly. Second time we have been and i sure will go again
Review 122:Not recommended to stay more than one night, cause area has nothing interesting and place is oldish No lift so if booking top floors might be hard if having a lot of luggage
Review 123:Very near to airport. Ideal especially for staying overnight when arriving late in the night (as was our case). Kettle with coffee and tea available in the lobby. Bathroom is to share but within the same apartment so not bad and was found clean. Receptionist service available on call and since I had informed her before with my arrival time, lady was there waiting for me. Thanks for that
Review 124:Climbing 4 flights of steps with 1 large suitcase +1 small, also outside is a very busy road: there was continuos traffic throughout the night very little rest achieved!
Review 125:It was convenient.
Review 126:We haven't been able to use wifi.
Review 127:Very happy with a location but unfortunately we spent there only one night so hopefully we will be able to experience more on our next journey.
Review 128:The room was on the ground floor, right in front of the street and there's no air conditioning but a simple fan. So if you sleep with open window, road noise is very annoying. In the part of the hotel were we stayed the bathroom is big, but very old and require urgent renovation.
Review 129:The hotel is OK if you have to stay in Treviso for 1 night. We arrived with a night flight and the room was right in front of the airport and bus stop to Venice. The room was very big and clean, but with old furniture. WiFi is OK. The reception was in the garage (!!!) of the detached house that is part of the hotel (the hotel is divided in two parts, 2 or 4 rooms are in the detached house, and the others in a little building just next to it).
Review 130:It claims to be a B&B, but there is no breakfast. It also claims to have wifi in all areas, but seems to only work in a five-meter radius of 'reception'. Also, the walls are very thin and beds fairly uncomfortable.
Review 131:It really is very close to the airport.
Review 132:For the price we paid I would have expected better quality rooms without having to share the bathroom. Wifi was slow and a little irregular.
Review 133:Very well situated by the airport so ideal for an overnight before an early planer after a late arrival. Otherwise the quality is very average and the service is very matter of fact. The bathroom was spacious and clean, but shared.
Review 134:No room with its own bathroom .
Review 135:The place is in front of Treviso airport ; you literally cross the street. The room is good . The place is perfect for a 1 night transient stay between trips.
Review 136:Noise- a nearby night club or disco was playing loud music with blaring microphone until after 3am. This kept me and my daughter awake until this time.
Review 137:Convenience to airport
Review 138:It's basic accommodation but all you need if you are just stopping for one night. It's across the street from the airport so very convenient. The cleanliness was fine.
Review 139:Very thin walls. Tea and Coffee station not stocked up. Not full shower - only removable shower head attached to wall over bath - sit in bath for a shower???. Office ran by one staff member in the garage. Staff member only there for timed arrivals.
Review 140:Location to airport. Short walk to Jackie's bar and restaurant.
Review 141:Poot air con so opened window and go bites..dusty smell in room..tv but no remote to change channel..wifi not accessable from room..no towels provided...had to pay €10 to get board pass printed!! (No discount for being a resident in hotel)
Review 142:Location, staff and breakfast
