Helianthus Residence sells fast on our site. Just 650 feet from Lake Maggiore’s shores in Cannero Riviera, Helianthus Residence offers free Wi-Fi and modern apartments with LED satellite TV. It is a few steps from a Blue-flag beach and the historic centre.
Featuring a balcony, patio or terrace, the air-conditioned apartments are decorated in different colour schemes. Each comes with a kitchen or kitchenette, and a bathroom with shower. Some include views of the lake.
Guests at the Helianthus can reach the free underground garage parking located in the basement via a lift stopping at each floor. They can also relax in the common garden.
A bus to/from Verbania stops 500 feet from the apartments. The property is a 2-minute walk to restaurants, shops, lake promenade and its small harbour, from where tourist boats leave. Private garage parking is available for free.

Review 1：Claudia is a really good host. She makes you feel special, writing a personal booking confirmation with essential information.The flat was very clean and quiet and had all we needed.

Review 3：Everything is new and well kept.The owner is on site, very available and friendly. Location very good in a small, lovely village on the lake Maggiore. Beach, restaurants and ice cream parlours within short walking distance.

Review 4：Just minor things that you can do without: WLAN is not always usable. Kitchen is good for occasional small meals and gives you an excuse to dine out and enjoy Claudias restaurant recommendations ;-))

Review 5：Very conveniently located quiet, tidy, spacious and confortable apartment. In-house garage and lift. The owner Claudia gives you all her care and recommendations if you wish. The unfoldable sofa comes with a decent mattress.

Review 6：In May the ranking of nationalities was: 1. Germans 2. Swiss (german-speaking) 3. Swiss (french-speaking) 4. French 5. Dutch Thus, almost every menu or sign is in german. If you like it, welcome to Germany italian style ;-)

Review 7：There is an underground parking what makes it perfect if you have experience with Italy in connection with new/valuable/special cars.... The safety standard of the building is extremely high (very heavy doors, different keys for every door-type....) Very solid furniture, bed/bathroom/windows is of high standard and unusual for Italy.

Review 9：Very clean, almost new apartment. The hosts were exceptionally helpful and kind. The location is perfect in a small village which is easy to walk around and has beautiful view of the lake.

Review 13：Fantastic place! New and very clean. We had a ground floor APT which was great for our boys who played outside with the neigbours :-) Claudia the owner went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and answer all our needs! She is present almost around the clock always with a big smile and good will! The location is great, a short walk from a great beach separated for swimmers only, (not a given around the lake region...) It is also excellent for day trips to explore the region. Highly recommended!!!

Review 24：I stayed at Helianthus Residence for 3 wonderful nights. The village is picturesque and inviting. The apartment was spacious,marvelously equipped, clean, full of light, quiet, with a big balcony overlooking the lake. In short everything you could wish for, when you go on such a vacation. But the best thing about the hotel is it's owners, Claudia and David, sister & brother, warm, calm, inviting, helpful in every possible way. Every place they recommended was just it. They don't have breakfast at the hotel, but at the same street some 50 meters from it, there's a coffee shop with a nice balcony, and the best baker in 100 km radius. I am sure to return and stay here if only to enjoy this wonderful people and village again.

Review 28：Great location close to the best mountain routes and Switzerland, modern apartments with nice, clean & spacious interiors, everything we needed in kitchen, great view to the lake, Claudia who is always ready to help with travel & restaurant tips & even offered us an extra boat trip on the lake to see the Pirates' island (unforgettable :) !). She also helped us with our car problems and was incredibly helpful with even the smallest practical problems we had. We really felt at home and will definitely come back for the third time in Helianthus & Cannero.

Review 32：The manager( Claudia) and her brother were very friendly and helpful.Staying in the hotel felt like staying home. The village has good resturants with reseanable prices, Claudia helped us in knowing the resturants and the best dishes they have. One of the best thing about the hotel is the friendy and helpful stuff. if we decide to vist the area again we will definitly stay in this hotel. The hotel is very close to other nice places to visit such as Stresa from which you can take boat to the famous islands of Bella, Pescatori and Madre.

Review 33：Absolutely everything! Very modern and super clean apartment, the hostess Claudia is very hospitable and helpful - you really feel at home from the first seconds of your stay! The town is very family-friendly and with excellent beach facilities and restaurants. It's also very convenietly located with a close drive to many POIs both on the Swiss and Italian ends of the lake.

Review 34：I like everything about the apartments, the owner Claudia is very friendly,, only a short walk to the lake. The town is small , there's a mini market, bakery, and pharmacy. Also small cafe just behind the apartment's house. Also there's a Friday market with small shops of fruits, clothes, shoes and a taxi boat can Take you to the towns on opposite side of the lake. Absolutely I will come again to this amazing place.

Review 36：We liked the rooms. We liked the place. The house is naar restaurants,naar the like. One can can make fris to the mountains, to the lakes, toswitserland (ascona and locarno), to Milan and lost of otherpossibilities for sightseeing. We liked the parking facilities. Verykind Hosts.

Review 37：Please be aware this is an apartment and not a full service hotel. Thereare no standard salt&pepper/oil and so on (eatable) products inthe kitchen. Likewise for the bathroom withsoap/shampoo/hairdryer. There is a little supermarket in thevillage, which is open till 19h.In wintertime the failing overcurtains were not a problem for us. However in summertime you could be wakened very early by the sun. When bringing along your dog, please inform yourself about the costs before you arrive.

Review 38：This newly build appartmentcomplex is small (12-14 apartments) andpersonally run by Claudia. As it is low-season when we stayed there wewere the only guests. We had a choice out of 2 studios. The one wechoose was at the streetside (of which we had practically no streetnoisefrom) and very sunny. That's very pleasant in wintertime. Thisstudio has a sleepingcouch, which was ok for two nights. The clima wasworking perfectly. The location is perfect. It is 200m from the LagoMaggiore and the village-centre and we had a nice view from our balcony.There is a very nice trattoria at 50m. Claudia is friendly, speaks verywell english and open-minded.
