Review 10:Good central location right next to Alba cathedral square, with free private parking. Nice friendly staff. Good large room with high vaulted ceiling. Good wifi and shower; Very nice breakfast with a good selection. We had a room at the front overlooking the square, which meant there was noise late at night - mainly from the people outside the takeaway next door....but we shut the window to make it quiet inside.
Review 11:no air-condition with no possibility to ventilate safely, wifi doesn't work, blight in the bathroom, terrible breakfast
Review 12:perfectly situated, possible parking
Review 13:shower stall was so small you could not bend over to shave legs. had clean bath towels daily however we received four small floor mats instead of 2 large bath towels. did not discover until late at night. nobody at reception. bathroom clean, but could use some bleach ( candeggiare) or anti muffa in the shower stall and on the floor.
Review 14:location to city center, able to walk town, clean room, clean sheets. breakfast and coffee was typical and good. security code to get into hotel after 8 pm. parking on site. elevator (lift) available.
Review 15:Everything! The room was 4 stars, great wifi, well heated (snowing outside), quiet, spotlessly clean, secure, parking and breakfast downstairs in the pastry/coffee shop...wowowow. Great value! I work in tourism and this is one of my best "finds" ever. Chapeau!
Review 16:No hot pot and fridge in room Little choice of food for breakfast, but taste is good enough
Review 17:Good location in old town With car park in hotel Nice town
Review 18:wifi didnt reach room, shower walls had mold in between tiles, hole in down comforter patched with tape which leaked feathers each day on floor, room very small
Review 19:comfortable bed, tasty breakfast buffet
Review 20:Room lights a bit deem.
Review 21:The hotel is located inside the old town near the main church. Shops are nearby, but quiet, except that you will be waken up at 7am by the church bells. Comfortable bed & spacious bathroom, though the shower cubicle is a bit small. Basic breakfast is good, in particular the coffee. Reception staff are very helpful and provide all information that you need. Absolutely value for money for my stay.
Review 22:Ants and black mold in bathroom. Walls were paper thin and our room was over the bakery downstairs so we would hear all that noise at a very early hour plus anyone in our vicinity.
Review 23:Location, breakfast & staff was great.
Review 24:Everything was excelent except the beds. They were VERY hard and after the first night the body was aching.

Review 29:If it had been hotter, I would have wanted air con in the room.
Review 30:Right next to the cathedral but the sqare was quiet at night. Breakfast was excellent as it was from the cafe downstairs so the coffee and pastries were good quality and not the usual rubbish you get in Italian hotels. Off street parking. The staff were very nice.

Review 49:Wonderfull place and best view in the heart if the city! Personnel and director are very careful to clients. Also here is the best cafe for breakfast with antique furniture!
Review 50:Since I just stayed one night, I didn't feel anything that I dislike, maybe the shower could be upgraded, it's acceptable, just in terms of "perfect", that's something can be better.
Review 51:The location of this hotel is great, it's right behind the main church of Alba city, the staff in the reception was very kind, I would say that I'm glad to stay there.
Review 52:The place recommended for a truffle dinner nearby, La Piopa, was disappointing. Food was not great and the prices were just way too high for what we got. But everything else was perfect.
Review 53:The great breakfast in the coffee shop right below! The helpful staff. Being right next to the ancient Basilica and that Alba is such a small, interesting, easy place to navigate by walking. It was great being there during truffle season. Francesca took trouble to give us the only room with a balcony on the square.
Review 54:There was nothing to dislike - perfect in every way.
Review 55:We liked everything about this place. Cosy, comfortable, clean, right on the ancient square adjacent to the cathedral in the old town, yet completely quiet and restful; wonderful staff and Francesca in particular was so knowledgeable and helpful and recommended an outstanding osteria food and wine experience. Really good breakfast included form the great coffee shop attached to the hotel.
Review 56:On the week-ends a little noisy, but that is city life, we just shut the window.
Review 57:Location in the piazza, our room looked down on it. so easy to walk everywhere. Great parking in the back, easy to get our car in and out. Staff was fabulous as well as our breakfast. Nice big room. I asked for a room with a large window and they gave it to us.
Review 58:the bathroom did not have enough place were to put our toiletries, we have to put it on the floor! The room didn't have much light. but I think 1 strong light as an option could be installed. They are not used serving tea for breakfast, as they small caraf for water.
Review 59:the room where we stayed was spacious and clean and it was quiet. +the breakfast pastries were very good. The staff speaks English.
Review 60:No real complaints, if I had to find fault, the pillows were a little hard ( did not stop us sleeping well, though!!)
Review 61:The location was great, in the middle of the older part of Alba, and very pretty to walk around. Breakfast was great, proper coffe made for us, and fresh pastries from the bakery at the hotel. The staff were friendly &helpful, overall a great experience. Highly recommend this hotel.
Review 62:the shower was good, but on the small side
Review 63:excellent staff: friendly, helpful, informative. breakfast in the renowned pasticceria downstairs was perfect! to have (free) parking in the courtyard was a real plus.
Review 64:Clean, comfortable, room in a fantastic location in the old city of Alba. Equally easy to drive to/from or reach from the train station with fine off-street parking. Friendly staff. Rooms on the street are a tad noisy in early evening, but nothing to complain about. Fine value.
Review 65:Would have liked to be able to have a coffee in the room. The lighting in the rooms were very poor. Dark! Could not read in bed at all. Noise from the church bellls made it impossible to sleep past 7.00!
