Reviews for Villa Mustafà

Review 1:We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was warm, clean and the rooms had individual design - everything was arranged with a great taste. The hosts were very hospitable and helpful. The breakfast was very tasty - especially the home-made pies. There are also toys in case you are travelling with children. Montefalco is 3 minutes drive from the Villa and has lots of restaurants and shops.

Review 2:Paula. She should be tourism minister for Italy. Very welcoming. Coffee and pastries on arrival. The story and history of her B&B are fascinating. Best breakfast.

Review 3:Paola was an amazing hostess and a fantastic cook who made us feel extremely welcome at the Villa. The property was 'postcard' beautiful, quiet and peaceful and Paola's tomatoes fresh from the garden, were happily shared with us during our stay. We couldn't recommend Villa Mustafa highly enough! A real highlight on our trip and so much more than we expected. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Review 4:The only thing I would have liked was a fan in the bedroom for the evenings (we went in during a particularly hot week).

Review 5:Everything! It was easy to find and park. The wifi was excellent, bedroom and bathroom clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was amazing and fresh. Most of all, Paola was the ultimate hostess!

Review 6:We loved the hospitality, friendliness and atentiveness of Paola, the owner of the property. Also the setting in the countryside of Montefalco was really lovely and peaceful. We were served an outstanding breakfast every morning in the garden patio with home baked tarts and farm fresh omelettes. We were there in May so the weather was perfect.

Review 7:Lack of sunny location to sit and read in a warm place on cold/damp spring days was a bit of a challenge. Since the heat was not on and there is little sun that enters the room it is not a welcoming place to be when you can't be outside

Review 8:Great historical home, with a very friendly and helpful couple/operator. Exceptional service and attention to our needs. Don't think we don't like you because of the "did not like comments". You were great!!!!

Review 9:It seems like Italians like hard beds and firm pillows. All our accommodation has had harder than we like. We would prefer slightly softer beds and pillows.

Review 10:Hostess made wine reservation for us. Restaraunt recommended excellent. Great yard, vineyard and views.

Review 11:Villa Mustafa is a personal home in the beautiful Umbrian countryside near Montefalco, a delightful hilltop village with many great restaurants. You feel like you are staying as a guest in someone's home. Paula became a friend rather than a host. Her breakfasts are delicious, featuring omelets using fresh eggs from her own Gallini. I particularly enjoyed sitting in the beautiful yard in the afternoon, sipping Grecchetto and practicing my Italian with Paula. It was a memorable stay.

Review 12:A little difficult to find. Sign leading to entrance to Villa Mustafa was covered by rose vines. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

Review 13:The best host family ever! Paola was a charming and thoughtful host. Lucky us - we were given our choice of rooms because we arrived early! Both rooms were terrific and it was hard to decide. Beautiful views from our spacious room and large bathroom. Breakfast was fantastic. In addition to the usual yogurt, fruit, bread, and jams, it included fresh baked cakes, omelets made from the Villa's chickens, and delicious coffee. Villa Mustafa has an interesting history, having once been the home of Domenico Mustafa, a castrato who sang in and directed the Sistine Choir. It was fun to see the memorabilia from his life still in the house.

Review 14:Nothing

Review 21:Its in a beautiful place, the rooms are very nice, the breakfasts were the best we had in Italy and Paula is just wonderful, we did not want to leave

Review 22:Fabulous! Paola is a gracious and welcoming host, I couldn't have felt more at home. Breakfast was amazing! Make sure you spend some time in the hammock, it's so peaceful there. I was a little concerned the villa might be too far from town as I was travelling by myself without a car but it was an easy 30 min walk through lovely countryside. I can't wait to return.

Review 23:Paula (and her mother) are the most charming hostesses you could ask for. The grounds are a great place to relax and the villa is situated close to wonderful towns, Montefalco and Bevagna. Breakfast is a feast and the rooms are a peaceful haven!

Review 24:There was nothing that we were unhappy with in our stay at VillaMustafa.

Review 25:The friendly welcome and great hospitality of our host Paula and thedelicious breakfasts she prepared. Also enjoyed the quiet location andthe nice yard with patio furniture for relaxation. We would definitelystay again if we return to this region of Perugia.

Review 26:It was a little hard to find. Worth the effort but our phone based mapprograms (both google maps and apple maps) lead us astray. Thedirections from booking.com also missed a turn but the gps coordinatesfor TomTom reportedly are correct.

Review 27:The hostess, Paulo, was absolutely wonderful. Morning breakfast wasabundant and tasty. She called to find which wineries were open and madedinner reservations. She is very connected to the local community. Thevilla rooms are very comfortable and we met great people over breakfast.

Review 28:Paola was the best and most helpful and cheerful host. Great stay all round

Review 29:Paola is a very charming host! Everything was just perfect.

Review 30:The breakfast with homemade omlets served in the garden was five star, and so was the service. Good Wi-Fi even in the garden.

Review 31:Warm, friendly hospitality. Very comfortable, spacious accommodation. Their cat Leone was a delight.
