Reviews for Landhaus Panorama

Review 1:My only pet peeve is only accepting cash, especially when they hand you the cancelled charge they put on your card reserve the room. That is inconvenient at best and sketchy if they already have the capability.

Review 2:Great guesthouse. It was nice to have a two room unit when traveling with kids. Nice playground and the staff was very kind.

Review 3:The only thing that would have made the stay better was the availability of a close resteraunt but nothing too serious.

Review 4:The accomodations were nice and the owner was very freindly. The location was quiet and peaceful. It was just a short walk to town and the views were very good.

Review 5:Nothing. We wished we'd found it earlier and stayed longer but probably can't blame the hotel for that one!

Review 6:Cheap tickets to local attractions of which there were many! Serene location. Wonderful staff. Amazing balcony views. Cleanliness.

Review 7:Incredibly friendly, lovely hosts Gerda & Harald. They went out of their way to be helpful. They alone are worth the stay. They could write the book on hospitality :) Our room was meticulously clean. Lovely views. Nicely outfitted kitchen and bath. Lots of storage space. Extremely fast internet service: much better even than many big city hotels.

Review 8:I booked 4 bedroom apartment. I was traveling with my wife and three children aged 13, 7 and 1 year . Upon arrival to the guest house the owner was shocked that we were with 1 year old child and told us to pay additional fee. When registering she told us about 10 euros but as we were leaving she suggested 20 euro for each day of stay.

Review 9:Posibility to order a bread.

Review 10:The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, had a fully equipped kitchen, and had a great view. Activity cards for the area that they gave us allowed us to do fun things for free, which was great!

Review 11:Gerda is a wonderful women! All was super. Very comfortable and clean apartment. Fully furnished kitchen. Wonderful view from the wino on mountain and castle, which is illuminate at the evening.

Review 12:Price increased after making reservations because of children. No credit cards are accepted, bring cash only. One person staff is very helpful. Doors close at 9:00 pm, but you have a key to get into the building.

Review 13:Area was great, room very spacious and just remodeled.

Review 14:our host was very accommadating with all our requests and very knowledgeable in all local matters. nothing seamed a problem. my mum is 80 years and we still walked to the centre of Reutte very enjoyable holiday

Review 15:Quiet and snug accommodation, whether you're planning a romantic escape with your best half, or having a family vacation with kids. Amazing mountain view from a huge (no joking) really huge balcony. Cozy chalet-styled interior will make you feel like in a fairytale from the first moment. And entire apartment is really spacious. Kitchenette has everything you might need to cook some simple food. In case if you don't want to bother yourself cooking - there are plenty of restaurants with local-cuisine in the area. So just enjoy your stay and pleasant communication with the welcoming owner of this fairy place. PS: don't forget to visit Highline 179 (which is not far from the guest house) - unbelievable feelings!

Review 16:TV channels only in German

Review 17:Coisy and quiet atmosphere and a very friendly owner who buys fresh bread in the morning. All equipment in rooms and kitchen was in good condition, clean and working properly.

Review 18:Very nice, cozy hotel located on a edge of a quite, small town. Nice rooms, kitchen had a full set of kitchenware. There is a playground outside. about 20 minutes drive to neuschwanstein.

Review 19:wifi signal was very poor in our apartment we reserved a two rooms apartment and when we ariived we found that the second room was actualy the salon of the apartment, where 2 beds was places for 3 adults and it wasn't so comfortable

Review 20:the location and the view from the balcony were amazing the owner was very kind and helpful we got a card for some free attraction and it was very useful

Review 21:The staff was friendly, the view was amazing, they had some toys outside for my daughter to play with, and the room was very comfortable. It was the perfect get away weekend for us. We couldn't have been happier.

Review 22:Gerda made us feel at home from the time we pulled into the covered car port until checkout 3 days later. Great price for an updated large room with free wi-fi, close to town and nice views. You would not go wrong with this pic.

Review 23:The only downsides that we found were that there were no televisionchannels in English or anything other than German, the internetconnection in our second floor lodging was very poor and that the quiltwas so warm that we were sweating in bed but cold without it (this seemsto be common in Europe where there are no light bed coverings offeredfor these not so freezing nights).

Review 24:We can only endorse the glowing comments of all the other recentreviewers. Gerda is a gem-happy and so helpful. She greeted us so warmlythat we felt as if we had met her previously. She had all the localinformation ready including the visitors card allowing free access toseveral activities in the region over the summer months. We tookadvantage of this on our second day taking the cable car up thesurrounding mountains for a lovely day walk. Our apartment (huge withseparate bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room), on the secondfloor, was huge with a balcony facing the mountains and its lovely view. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very quiet. The kitchen isequipped with all that you need for an extended stay although you maythen find the refrigerator a little small. The small things that we'didn't like' are not that negative; this is a wonderfulplace to stay, with genuinely hospitable hosts and in a lovely part ofthe world. It sure beats the city!

Review 25:-Wifi was okay, but was not good throughout the apartment -No English or French channels on the television, though they have a DVD player and you can rent inexpensive English movies

Review 26:-Huge apartment -Extremely helpful staff -Can order fresh bread every morning -Great views of Alps from window -Full living room, bathroom, separate bedroom and separate bedroom which is great for couples that don't go to bed at the same time -Great value for money -Free Reutte card for a free lift ticket on nearby mountain and Ehrenberg museum -Easy to get to Fussen (no border issues)

Review 27:We loved our stay at Landhaus Panarama. So scenic and close to all the beautiful castles. Not sure what was more beautiful tha castles, the vistas or the fall colors. Highly recommend Landhaus panorama for anyone's stay. They even get you fresh bakery good delivered every morning. "It is no problem!"

Review 28:Wifi doesn't work. Charged extra for kids bed even when we said we didn't want it. Loud music from town until 4 am. No breakfast even though it's listed as a B&B. Bathroom smelled like urine.

Review 29:Lots of space. Large kitchen.

Review 30:nothing

Review 31:Super friendly owner and family Very clean place, nothing out of place and a pleasant smell Full kitchen with everything you need (even a coffee maker). Just outside of town very quiet Free covered parking

Review 32:Location for the mountains. Gerde's great welcome and amazing helpfulness. Great apartment and local facilities. Our children loved collecting the fresh bread each morning.

Review 33:1. No ventilation--you could sleep with the windows open, but no screens to keep the bugs out. 2. Did not understand the cleaning fee on top of the hotel charges. 3. It was out in a neighborhood, nothing around it. Car is essential.

Review 34:Large room, small shower, decent kitchen. The activity cards (included) were terrific! We took advantage of three activities for free that we would not have done otherwise.

Review 35:We were in the area to visit the Royal Castles. Ideally, we should have found a hotel closer in Fussen or in the village itself. We did not know and booked here not realising that it was in fact in Austria, across the border (and not that easy to find). It was not far, 15 minutes by car, and the fault was ours. Tha value for money was only fair, then again everything is expensive in Austria. To pay only by cash was also annoying.

Review 36:Excellent service, the hostess/owner was extremely nice and helpful with good recommendations of restaurants in town. Room was very large with separate bedrooms and large kitchen and bathroom. Nice choice of books available (even English ones) in the hotel for the reading types.

Review 37:The host/owner was very helpful and gave us great suggestions for places to eat and things to do. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The Reutte area is very scenic.

Review 38:Really nothing to complain about. The only minor things are that car parking is tight when the hotel is full and that you need to separate all your trash into six different waste streams and you need to do this yourself and take it outside. (But, again, this is a minor complaint)

Review 39:Room size and comfort; balcony; amazing view; hostess Gerda; location to things to do; comfortable bed; large private bathroom (rare for European hotels); did I mention the absolutely amazing views?!

Review 40:no AC

Review 41:the staff was friendlly

Review 42:The hosts were very nice and helpful. We really enjoyed staying there.

Review 43:Clean, quiet & spacious

Review 44:Very easy place to stay. Lovely hostess who did our laundry for us. Overall a great place to stay.

Review 45:friendly staff that spoke English Spacious rooms Warm floor heating during our cold, rainy stay

Review 46:5 beds in one room is perfect for three kids. Town had nice dinner spots and only 20 minutes to Fussen the next morning.

Review 47:Location is good for all the castles and the high bridge. This place is like a time share

Review 48:Bed was hard.

Review 49:Clean, spacious, and friendly

Review 50:The staff were very friendly and the accommodations an excellent value. Would stay again.

Review 51:We could not ask for a better home away from home! Great location, scenery, staff, and apartment at an unbeatable price!

Review 52:Unkindly, uncooperative personnel.

Review 53:No breakfast available

Review 54:I love the hospitallity and the conditions, asambled in a perfect view!

Review 55:The room was big fully equipped good location very helpful stuff attraction card for free for the local swimming pool, cable car etc..

Review 56:only that I did not stay longer!! ;-)

Review 57:very clean, Staff is best!!!

Review 58:Cleaness,very friendly ovner, family athmosphere,

Review 59:The apartment and the view, walking along the stream. Enjoying the surroundings and Reutte. Gerda's friendly and personal hospitality.

Review 60:Nothing. Everything good!

Review 61:Accommodation spotlessly clean. Views of the mountains wonderful. Stay here rather than in fussen! An oasis of tranquility!

Review 62:We spent two wonderful weeks in Landhaus Panorama and would definitely recommend it to other travellers.

Review 63:Spectacular scenery, very spacious rooms, playground for children, very friendly hostess

Review 64:We loved the view, the hospitality, the owner Greda is such a sweet and caring lady. We got there really late and she waited for us with coffee and cookies. Home is very cozy and lovely. I will definitely go back. The town is very quite and lovely.

Review 65:There was nothing we didn't like but while not essential would have liked more towels. Everything you need is there but no frills.

Review 66:We had a 3 room suite with every accommodation we could want. There was a nicely equipped kitchen so we could prepare our breakfast and Gerta arranged for us to have fresh bread each morning. Gerta was a lively and engaging hostess who readily provided us with wonderful suggestions to enhance our vacation. the mountain view was spectacular.

Review 67:It was a little hard to find, but then we wanted "quiet and out of the way". Use a GPS to get you through Reute and over the river. Otherwise you'll be driving in circles in Reute trying to figure out how to get there. (Lots of one way streets and traffic in Reute!)

Review 68:Quiet, "out of the way" from the touristy and crowded areas, yet easily accessible to the castles, the Plansee lake, and the Austrian cable car up the Zugspitze. Very reasonably priced, and the kitchenette makes it even more so. Gerda, the innkeeper has a lively personality.

Review 69:No breakfast was available, and a couple of cups of coffee cost 5 euros. If you're without a car, this place is not for you. It's a fair way from town.

Review 70:Good room upgraded at no extra cost.

Review 71:Frau Gerda was amazing. We left our child's beloved stuffed bunnybehind when we checked out, and she had it all ready to mail back to us(we ended up driving back to retrieve it). We stayed two nights and sawthe Zugspitze and then drove on to the Eagle's Nest and Salzburg.Danke Frau Gerda, we are so grateful for your help!!

Review 72:We did not like the 29 Euro cleaning fee when we did not use the kitchen. We saw on other reviews that when quests did not use kitchen the cleaning fee was deducted when mentioned but this did not happen in our case.

Review 73:Our two room apt. was very spacious. Even tough we did not cook, we wish we would have thought to buy some coffee for the mornings we very there. WiFi in room very good. The Tannerhof restaurant that was recommended was also very good as we went there the next morning for fresh to-go coffee as well as eating dinner there.Very delicious. Great value room.

Review 74:The location is absolutely picturesque. Gerda, the owner, picked us up from the train station and drove us to the place. The hotel / lodge is a ten minute walk from the train station of Reutte. If you feel like walking and the walk is gorgeous. Gerda was awesome and gave us free bus passes into for the bus into Reutte, the bus stop is across the street. We had an apartment with plenty of space to stretch out. Gerda was very helpful in planning our trips to see the ludvig's castles. Take the bus to reutte, then fussen and on to the castles. If we are in Reutte for an extended hiking trip we will definitely stay here. Also we ate a fantastic meal in a nice fancy rest house on her recommendation just ten minutes away minutes from her place.

Review 75:Really helpful and friendly owner. The rooms were spotlessly clean. the surrounding countryside was beautiful and there were lots of things you could do for free in Reutte with your resident card.

Review 76:The cash only policy was in fine print in the confirmation email - notclear on booking.

Review 77:Everything was wonderful - spacious living room, balcony, fullyequipped compact kitchen, quiet, lots of hooks and shelves to keepeverything off the floor. Extra blankets were available in the hallway(it was cool weather). Beautiful and a great value. Definitely wouldstay there again.

Review 78:The duvets on the beds were too heavy - in spite of the wonderful cooltemperatures, we were too warm while sleeping under them. Either a topsheet or a lighter (summer weight) duvet would have been much beter.

Review 79:Very clean, comfortable beds, charming decor, Very friendly and helpfulproprietor, spectacular location in the Austrian Alps, very convenientto Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany, quiet and peaceful.

Review 80:For young children (10, 12) there is no activity room in the evening.

Review 81:The view from the balcony and a quiet surrounding. Fresh bread in the morning. Not far from the ski slopes (by car). Nice home atmosphere.

Review 82:No shampoo in the shower

Review 83:Location to restaurants, but we were not there for that purpose.

Review 84:Location in the mountains, very nicely kept hotel, friendly owner.

Review 85:very friendly owner, stunning panorama view on the mountains

Review 86:extra surcharge for baby diapers... 5 euros per night .....

Review 87:nice big appartment with wonderful view... definatly recomend if travelling with kids.

Review 90:It's a perfect place for relaxing vacations. Amazing vievs, fresh air and touch of nature.
