Review 1：The location is a bit far out of the town, 20-30 minutes walk, so we had to take taxi which was very expensive.

Review 2：Friendly staff with good sense of humor. Great restaurant with fabulous food and the best waiter in Italy.

Review 3：albeit on the seaside, hotel is too far from the centre of town. it can also do with renting out bicycles, otherwise you do definitely need a car. otherwise it does need some updating, you feel more in the 70-s there then now....

Review 7：apart from one very nice lady, the reception staff were rude and unhelpful. broken radio fittings. lime crusted shower head. sea view is a side sea view and the balcony only holds one chair. stair carpets are threadbare and dangerous. 8 euros a day to use the hotel beach area and it is packed. the ham and cheese at breakfast are awful, cheap and plasticky. long walk to anywhere else to eat. car parking is a nightmare..far too cramped.

Review 8：nice views of the sea. good food in the restaurant if you can book a table. we learned to book a table just after breakfast to be sure! pietro the waiter made up for the other staffs rudeness as he was a delight and got cross with the chefs on our behalf when our sons pizza didn't arrive until we had almost finished our meal. he looked after us very well. lovely pool but remember your bathing cap. the lifeguard was quite strict about people wearing them.

Review 14：1.we booked TRIPLE room for 3 adults,but in reality hotel have two beds for adults and one child bed,so one adult should sleep on small ,uncovinient bed ( and it was no choise).(i think for 2 peoples room will be ok). 2 old,not effective sistem of aircondition,and it is ONLY operating 1pm to 2am,other time it is switched off,in spite very hot days..

Review 23：Old structure , staff at the counter was correct but totally indiferent . Breakfast was really poor . The room was big but uncomfortable , noise from other rooms was disturbing , air conditioning not always working properly .The bathroom from the 80's is intact with a tiny shower and no pressure .although I paid for a double room the morning after they took away the second set of towels and the toiletries that are for kids to play dolls .The sense of fake luxury is funny . I asked for a double bed and they put together 2 singles beds . Decor in the room is pitiful and the lights are literribly strong and cold . 650€ for 5 nights in this conditions are wasted money .

Review 24：Location is fine .They said they have a private beach but you need to reserve a place to go there , and from the first minute when I arrived they told me that there were no places available .The fact that I can rent a bike everyday was very helpful .Wifi works good

Review 47：Most of the staff were ok....except a mature lady on reception who was quite miserable. As a guest you like to feel welcome and to be treated as special. We didn't get that feeling from any of the staff really. We didn't want to eat dinner at the hotel and Bisceglie is a bit lacking in restaurants....plenty of Pizza places but not restaurants.

Breakfast was quite good and excellent value for money.....although on our second breakfast it was a bit sparse. Review 55：it was a normal hotel, but the location is terrible for non-car people.You need all the time a taxi and they are not easy to get (at the station you have to phone a number...) They offer dinner at the Sea-sight restaurant. But it was already dark at 8. in september. And the breakfast the offer you in the morning in a room in the cellar...no sea sight!

Review 56：Although we were aware it was a rocky beach with platformed decking, we didn't like going into the sea as it shelved VERY quickly. Could do with Safes in the rooms for security - although we fortunately had no problems. A little bit isolated - we didn't fancy the 1/2 hour walk into Town so took Taxis which the Hotel were happy to arrange.

We virtually never eat at the same place during our holiday - preferring to find other restaurants BUT once you eat a la carte at Salsello you go back - in our 6 days there, we ate in the Hotel 5 nights. Something different every night. Superb service, especially Pietro - very helpful, friendly and informative. The Staff couldn't do enought for you, all friendly.

Review 58：The facility were not more then 3 stars, Old furniture, very small shower. Air conditioning in function just in the morning and in the evening, not very quiet device. Breakfast on the limit, no many alternatives. No possibility to communicate in other language then Italian with the breakfast restaurant personnel. To get a lunch at the facility restaurant is a challenge, firstly is possible just with advance booking and even we ask for this the procedure didn't function, luckily a table was found after few moments. Due to the fact that the main area of the restaurant was busy with a organized party the only table available was just in the front of the band that was singing a bit to loud, being a challenge to have any conversation, beside of this the way how the waiter manages to serve us was rely poor being far to be logical. They bring the food how they managed with out a logical order serving me with all the dishes and the rest just with the starters or nothing.

Review 59：Definitely close to the sea. Easy to reach. Quiet and practical. The personnel try to keep the impression of 4 star standard but is not enough to change the towels and bad sheets to get on that. The food is good, congratulation to the chef.

It is a verytired hotel and needs some quite major refurbishment We were kept awake2 nights in a row by a large party - the first one finishing at 4.30 amand the next night at 2.30 am.

Review 67：High standard of this hotel was true years ago probably. Now it is not worth its high price. Poor breakfast (and not tasty at all), two times we had yesterdays bread for breakfast, extremly small shower cabine, dirty room and bathroom (e.g. third people hairs in bathroom), not changed towers when ordered (what happened twice), far away from nice sand beach, expensive restaurant, pictures in internet are not presenting the hotel the way it looks in reality today.

Groups of spoilt people shouting until 3 a.m. in the rooms; at 7 a.m. children running and playing loudly along the corridors waking up people on a sunday morning... then they moved with their parents in the breakfast room shouting endlessly early in the morning... Unbelievable! The staff of the hotel should avoid this kind of things to happen. The shower was very old and the water was easily leaking everywhere in the bathroom.

Review 77：Po-faced receptionist and staff, including a waiter interestinglyattired in bowtie+jeans! Porter snatched my case from me and silentlywheeled it off. I tried to take it back, as I'm capable of wheeling mycase into a lift, but he snatched it back. Hotel is beautifully-locatedbut well out of town so we had to eat there. Receptionist insisted wereserve a table although the large restaurant was empty! We asked forpizzas, which were on the menu, but were told they are only on Sat (notstated on the menu). Breakfast was a joke-plenty of cereals, cakes,fruit, rolls etc but no bowls, plates, cutlery etc. We finally got ourtea/coffee after we'd finished eating. All the cons are a shame, as thehotel is nice and perfectly sited, but they need to sort out the staffand the organisation.

Review 89：Although we parked the car inside the walls of the hotel (it is surrounded by a wall), our car was stolen. There are no cameras on the parking and there is no one supervising the parking lot. Apparently, this is really necessary in that area of Italy.

We are really grateful to the male receptionist who was always friendly and patient. There was some very unfriendly staff too though. It was a great contrast.
