Reviews for Agriturismo Camiano Piccolo
Review 1:Nothing
Review 2:Friendliness and helpfulness of staff - lovely family who go out of their way to make sure you have a great time. Great food too! Location is amazing - set on a hillside with incredible views. Also within 10 min walk of picturesque village on hilltop
Review 3:This is an excellent family run hotel; staff were all friendly and very helpful. Stunnig view from the resaurant terrace overlooing the valley below. All our meals were very good pepared using quality produce from the regiaon.
Review 4:Giuseppe was pleasant and made us feel very welcome. The pool was refreshing on a scorching hot day. The lovely town of Montefalco was a wonderful surprise - charming, clean and uncrowded.
Review 5:Unfortunately our 3 night stay coincided with a Friday night wedding reception held at the outdoor restaurant/function area of the property, which is very close to all of the apartments. Amplified music and speeches given on microphones until 2.30am kept us awake, as did the movement of party goers and vehicles - which had parked within a metre of our apartment. When we complained on our departure that morning we said we felt that we should have a discount for our last night being so disturbed. The response was "but you used our beds" and no discount or apology was given. We don't think its a good place to stay if you want to be sure of a good nights sleep - the hosts don't seem to really care about the guests being disturbed. Other less significant issues were the lack of comfortable furniture in the lounge (old overstuffed chairs), outdoors (broken cane chairs and plastic seats), mouldy bathroom, and fumes from painting one of bedrooms (done just the day before we arrived from what we were told).
Review 6:Good location - a 5 minute drive into Montefalco. 2 bedroom apartment was spacious.
Review 7:Beautiful 500 year old property near Montefalco. Amongst olive groves iwith beautiful vistas across the countryside and pool. Great access to many towns. Excellent hosts and wonderful food from their own restaurant. Fantastic !nil
Review 8:The personal touch Guiseppe and staff made the stay. There is a restaurant on site we used twice during our stay we sampled local food it was all so good. We would definitely go back.
Review 9:Nill.
Review 10:The house we stayed in was very nice included a kitchen was well appointed. The restaurant is excellent we very much enjoyed eating dinner there. The breakfast is very nice.
Review 11:Nothing.
Review 12:We were two couples. We had a two-floor apartment with two bedrooms and baths upstairs and a large first floor with a kitchen, fireplace and generously sized eating and sitting area (with a farm table that would have seated 10 in the middle of the room). We also had an outdoor patio. Location was quiet and beautiful. Staff was helpful; dining room and menu were excellent. We also liked being within walking distance (mostly uphill, though) through olive groves to Montefalco, a medieval walled city on a hill about a 1/2 mile away.
Review 13:nothing
Review 14:food in restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced. Beautiful views. Pool was good size and quiet. Rooms were comfortable with good sized bath/shower room. Very relaxing. Owners and staff were most obliging and helpful. Good location for visiting beautiful local towns including Assisi
Review 15:nothing, I almost cried when we had to leave.
Review 16:This was a magical place for our family. We had a 2 bedroom stone cottage, we swam in the pool, we sat on our balcony. The family cooked our dinner, waited on us in a private room just for our family. The 5 minute walk into Montefalco lined with Olive trees was beautiful, we walked home one evening with fireflies!
Review 17:A little more decor would be nice
Review 18:friendliness, view, breakfast all good. The place was comfortable and close to town of Montefalco.
Review 19:Most pleasant agriturismo, with beautiful view of the surrounding olive groves, plain and mountains, close to a wonderful medieval town.
Review 20:A great 25 generation family who own and run the place. Such nice people. Set in a wonderful location
Review 21:Super friendly family business
Review 22:rock hard beds
Review 23:on site restaurant
Review 24:Wonderful location with excellent facilities - large swimming pool, parking on site and evening meals (dine in).
Review 25:The pool area and gardens are in need of some TLC. Most of the sun umbrellas were ripped and needed replacing. The kitchen in our apartment was under-equipped. Although the apartment was two bedrooms there was no sitting room, only a small kitchen. We missed having an area to socialise as there was no patio or terrace for dining outside. I had sent Camiano Piccolo two emails between booking and arriving, but neither email was answered.
Review 26:Overall a very good experience. The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of Montefalco, with a beautiful view over the valley. The pool is large and I think this would be a great place for families. We had a two bedroom apartment and both bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious. There is air-conditioning in the bedrooms. The owners speak very good English. Because Camiano Piccolo is an 'agriturismo' facility, not an hotel, it is quite rustic, and I do have some negative comments relating to this.
Review 27:Would have liked a small fridge in the room to keep bought wine and drinks cold if it was possible.
Review 28:Everything about Agriturismo was delightful. The friendliness of all the people working there and the hospitality of the family who own the place was excellent.
Review 29:There could be more tables and chairs outside rooms - there are enoughin the public area only. And the price of dinner is not very clear -every night we ate something different (different prices in the menu),but when we checked out it turned out we paid exactly the same forevery dinner, and it was not what it said in the menu. The food wasgood, though.
Review 30:The staff at Camiano Piccolo are really friendly. Our room was bigenough and comfortable - nothing to complain about. And the food wastasty, we liked their wine, too. There were quite a lot of people there(fully-booked possibly), but it felt peaceful. If you want to rest, getsome peace and quiet, this is the place to be. And it's a ten-minutewalk to Montefalco.
Review 31:Internet didnt reach our room but we just walked up to the outdoorrestaurant area where it was fine.
Review 32:A family owned business, all of whom made us very welcome. Comfortable, cool rooms. Lots of space to relax on site - including pool. Walkingdistance to Montefalcoa, @10-15 minutes Restaurant on site is very good.Would not hesitate to recommend.
Review 33:If you just get a room, some can be a little small and dark. If you can, spend the extra and get a kitchen.
Review 34:Quiet, on top of a hill with a wonderful view of a valley. If you get a room with a kitchen, spacious rooms. Great staff. Options of cooked eggs for breakfast. Great location for exploring Umbria.
Review 35:Owned and run by the Fabrizi family who are all absolutely wonderful Could not be more helpful. The accommodation is clean and comfortable with a lovely view over the country side. The dinners were delicious
Review 36:the owners/family run for many generations-extremely personable and generous with their time and graciousness and champagne birthday treat.
