Reviews for Hameiri Estate

Review 1:The only thing we can mention is that the weather was rather inclement - and one cannot, of course, blame the people or place for that

Review 2:The location was perfect, the place itself was enchanting, the attitude of the owner and staff - including the personal attention - were exceptional, Hameiri really is an Estate, the view was fabulous, the garden was beautifully kept. we had an upgrade of our room, and the breakfast was really good and more than sufficient, We hope to return, and will certainly recommend the place to our friends and our family,

Review 3:Ideal location for a relaxing vacation. The view is incredible. Loved the hot tub. Loved the breakfasts at Pina Baroush. Loved the town of Rosh Pina and its proximity to Tsfat. Loved the hospitality shown by Galila.

Review 4:Absolutely lovely small inn with gorgeous views and great walking distance to old Rosh Pina. Easy parking. Super breakfast and wonderful hosts. Highly recommend.

Review 5:At a push, I would say the beds could be a little softer, but that's more a matter of personal taste. Breakfast is next door (more or less) in a beautiful restaurant, but the food is good not fabulous.

Review 6:Galila was unbelievably helpful and welcoming. We arrived in the middle of the night and still nothing was too much trouble. The rooms and location are exactly as pictured - traditional and hilltop peaceful views as well as a beautifully tended garden. The kitchen and bathroom were both really well stocked: milk, wine, biscuits water. This was particularly welcome as we had children with us. Again, Galila was so warm and helpful with dealing with so many of our problems (such as locking our car keys in the rental car!). In a few minutes she'd managed to call a friend to come and open it for us and she stayed with us letting us use her phone. The place is beautiful and even better than all this is the location is so central to all activities. It took us 10 minutes to drive to a quiet spot on the Galilee for a swim, 25 minute drive to kfar Blum with the brilliant rafting and also 30 minutes up to the northern most tip to visit druze villages. Bottom line, we can't recommend thisore highly!

Review 7:The only drawback is that if you don't have a car, your evening dining options are limited.

Review 8:The estate is authentic with magnificent views. The proprietor, while limited with English, couldn't be more hospitable. We loved the homemade cookies upon arrival along with a small bottle of wine each day and refills on bottled water.

Review 9:The Hameiri estate is special. My husband and I came here 3 years ago on our honeymoon and loved it so much that we came back and brought our family! Galila is so warm, the view is spectacular, the rooms are unbelievable, and breakfast is delicious. It is a great base for tzefat, hiking in the Golan and exploring the Galilee area. It is a MUST.

Review 10:Leaving!

Review 11:Gallila and her family and absolutely everything else. We are mature world travelers and have never enjoyed superior service in even the finest European five star hotels.

Review 12:The Hameiri Estates is a wonderful restored B&B (with all the modern conveniences) on a wonderful cobblestone street (near shops of artists) with a wonderful view (of both the surrounding valley and hills) in the wonderful quaint and historic town of Rosh Pina. The owners are warm and wonderful and make you feel very comfortable including complimentary wine, homemade cookies and soft drinks in the fully equipped kitcheonette. In addition to their generosity, they are very willing to help. The original building is from the 1800s and was lovingly restored by Shlomi Hameiri with same iron, wood and glass materials and design. The outdoor patio and lawn is a relaxing and lovely place to sit and enjoy the beautiful scenery. This is a prime location for touring the Uppper Gallilee and the Golan Heights. To stay at the Hameiri Estates is a unique, relaxing and wonderful experience; I highly recommend it.

Review 13:The only drawback was location relative to town. You really had to get into your car to get into the town. However, it is very close to the old city section.

Review 14:Galila and her son are amazing hosts. The view from the property is amazing and the breakfast is enough food to last you the whole day. I highly recommend it.

Review 15:We had a wonderful stay at Hameiri Estate. The villa was very comfortable, the views from the outside deck were spectacular and the hosts charming and eager to please. Plus there is an excellent restaurant right next door. Great place to stay in the Upper Galilee.

Review 16:Everything was perfect. Galila was extremely welcoming and helpful. Our suite was lovely, comfortable, and spotless. The location is the best in Rosh Pina, which is a lovely place with an interesting history. The view is breathtaking, and we loved sitting in the shade of the palm tree in the beautiful garden. Even the romanticism of staying at a place so part of the history of Rosh Pina, that has been owned by the same family since the 19th century added to the enjoyment of our stay.

Review 17:Lovely owner Galila was warm and welcoming. The wine and cookies were a lovely touch. Room was just beautiful, and the breakfasts huge and tasty. A wonderful stay.

Review 18:Nothing, our stay was perfect.

Review 19:The location provides you with a breathtaking view of the Golan Heights. The owner, Galila Hameiri and her son can't do enough for you. She welcomes you to the estate as if you're family. Before we knew it, she brought us home baked cookies and wine. Hameiri Estates has clean comfortable rooms surrounded by lush greenery and flowers with spectacular views. There is nothing not to like.

Review 20:None!

Review 21:I am a wholly deaf solo traveller and stayed for 3 nights at the friendly atmosphere boutique Hameiri Estate Bed & Breakfast in the pretty hilly location in Old Rosh Pina. When I arrived on the first afternoon after getting off the bus 845 in Rosh Pina (from Tel Aviv), I walked up the hill to Hameiri Estate, I was welcomed by the attentive host Galila and her daughter Adi, who took me to the unique ‘The Fig Cabin’ room with a huge exotic flowery terrace and a small balcony – I loved the splendid view of the beautiful countryside and mountains! I felt I was in a real vacation location! Galila offered to serve me breakfast in my room, or to give me the free breakfast vouchers for me to go to Pina Barosh Restaurant nearby. I chose the vouchers. Breakfast at Pina Barosh Restaurant was excellent, as well as the dinners in the 2 evenings. The room has a comfortable king-sized bed, beautiful furniture from the Far East, huge plasma TV and DVD, free Wi-Fi, dining table, kitchenette, wonderful Turkish styled bathroom and Jacuzzi. It is in a good location – it is close to the Old Rosh Pina village – only about 3-5 minutes’ walk and it is opposite the Nimrod Lookout! Very interesting places and you can walk in the Rosh Pina Nature Reserves – very beautiful scenery! Two days later, I had a nice surprise on my actual birthday! Galila and her young friend Jessica came to my room terrace and they gave me a surprise birthday present from Galila, and also a birthday card from my cousin who sent it to Hameiri Estate by mail! I really loved Hameiri Estate B&B! I feel sure you would want to go back there after your first stay! I would love to go back there myself from time to time! Thanks to Galila, Adi and Jessica for all their kind hospitality! They treated me like an old friend in a home away from home!

Review 22:Please don't change a thing!

Review 23:An incredible location, gorgeous suite, lovely outside grounds, amazing breakfast, outstanding views, good location for a 2-3 base cape for Golan region/sites/wineries touring, nice restaurants within walking distance...overall an outstanding experience!

Review 29:Loved it all

Review 30:Breakfast

Review 31:friendliness and location. The view was fabulous.

Review 32:The view, the facility, most of all the staff would try to accommodate any request-should be rated a 10, great way to end our visit

Review 33:nothing

Review 34:the hosts the room the location

Review 35:We felt very welcome by our host. The hospitality was the best inIsrael. The suite (or small apartment) was charming. We actually onlybooked a room but were given a kitchen, living room and two bedrooms. Itwas a great, free upgrade that we were not expecting. The property islocated at the top of the hill so if you are driving without gps (as wewere), just drive to the top of the hill and it is on the right with thename in English. Try the top most gate to check in.

Review 36:Nothing.

Review 37:Possibly the most beautiful view in Israel. Meticulously kept grounds and stone-built accommodations.Gracious, caring proprietress Gallila. Rosh Pina is a treasured piece of Israeli history. Adjectives that come to mind: beautiful, tranquil, romantic.

Review 38:We loved our stay at the Hameiri. The setting is gorgeous and peaceful and Galila (the owner) along with her son, Hezzi, welcomed us with open arms and gracious hospitality. The rooms are very nicely done with a charm that will appeal to couples, families, everyone! We also loved walking right near the Hameiri, in the interesting and "off the beaten path" part of Rosh Pinna. We loved our time at the Hameiri and would definitely stay again when we visit Israel!

Review 39:There was really nothing to dislike at this hotel.

Review 40:1. The view of the Hula Valley from the front lawn-garden of the hotel is truly memorable. 2. The room-suite was very roomy, clean and user friendly. 3. The appliances all worked well. 4. Most of all, the owner and her children couldn't have been more accommodating to our needs. She even did our laundry and refused payment for doing it. My wife and I have traveled all over the world, and we have never experienced the staff at a hotel "compelled" to serve their guests.

Review 41:- Nothing- Note that location is approx 200m further up road/hill than GPS or Google Maps says it is (200meters up hill from Pinna Barosh)

Review 42:- Unmatched views of the Upper Galilee and Golan Heights- Beautiful/serene property gardens/grounds - Small estate/boutique - Very friendly/helpful, family-run and operated - Spacious rooms/baths/kitchen - Proximity to several excellent restaurants (200-300 meters)

Review 43:Large atmospheric room and verandah. Wonderful views and position. Great breakfast down the hill. Best home made biscuits. Very quiet and peaceful. Feeling of history.

Review 44:It was a little confusing on arrival. We had to call to get in. Otherwise, it was a fabulous place.

Review 45:Gorgeous setting, beautiful, spacious and comfy room in small hotel.

Review 46:absolutely beautiful setting with exquisite views of the Northern Galilee, Golan Heights etc. Room was spacious and beautifully and tastefully appointed in keeping with the details and atmosphere of this historic building.

Review 47:No signs in English for the Hotel and you have to go through a No Entry sign - in Hebrew it says something like access only underneath. Pressure in the shower could have been better.

Review 48:A very relaxing place to stay with a lovely garden and views. Spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished with beautiful stained glass windows. We had our own terrace and garden furniture where we could enjoy a glass of wine and take in the views. We were made to feel very welcome.

Review 49:An Israeli Zimmer with a difference perched at the top of rosh pinna possibly the closest you can get to paradise for a quick weekend break in Israel. The owner galila ensures that you can relax and enjoy yourself. Would thoughly recommend this place as a romantic relaxing getaway.

Review 50:Shalom! We loved Galila; she couldn't do enough for us! We loved the beautiful suite and the view was unbelievable! I loved relaxing on the chaise lounge, reading, while enjoying the beautiful views. Also loved the jacuzzi bathtub with jets! Bed was very comfortable, and it was great having the little kitchen, too. Almost forgot: the homemade cookies and chocolate candies were delicious, and a lovely, sweet touch that made our experience even more special. Also liked the lovely book where we could read other guests' experiences and write down our own feelings.

Review 51:A little bit hard to find, only signs in Hebrew outside.

Review 52:* The Hameiri Estate is located next to the old quarters of Rosh Pina and high up in the mountain slope.* We had a "standard" room, but it had a spectacular view over the Hula valley and Mt Hermon in the distance. * There was nice patio and a small lawn in front on the room, also with the excellent view. * The room and bath were very nicely appointed and to a very high standard. * There was a complementary 1/2 bottle of good white wine and some delicious cookies, in addition to mineral water, coffee etc. * The hostess was very welcoming and concerned with our well-being. We will be back again !

Review 53:Magical in every way. Appeals to ALL the senses. Gracious owners, spacious well appointed rooms . Tuscany has nothing on rosh piña . gourmet dining, hiking opportunities, total relaxation. A definite delight. Highly recommend !

Review 54:Had we known what a sneak spot this was; we would have stayed longer.

Review 55:The location is in the heart of the North overlooking Northern Israel(Great View). The grounds are classic/warm/picturesque and theestate's owner Galila made the stay as comfortable as home.

Review 56:We were two, but had a huge apartment with a large terrace and a marvellous view over the Hula valley to Mt. Hermon. Very friendly hostess. She does not speak very well english, but her young son does. We got a warm welcome: wine, fruit, soft drinks, coffee/tea, cookies. Rosh Pina is a calm town perfectly located as a base for touring Galilea and Golan.

Review 57:Beautifully appointed rooms. The property is truly one of a kind. Plan to check in early and enjoy the view from the private yard. Rosh Pinna has gourmet restaurants and all the fabulous Israeli wines that you can possibly desire to try. Would definitely come back!!
