Reviews for Villa Pambuffetti

Review 1:This was a super beautiful location with helpful and friendly staff. The room was bright and spacious; the breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of food in a beautiful setting.

Review 2:We were there at the end of the season and the only guest. The town is somewhat remote and not much to se or do. In summer it looks to be a great place to stay

Review 3:The converted Villa is very comfortable with very friendly and attentive staff. Rooms are very well appointed

Review 4:Their were no meals available the restaurant was closed, open only one day, breakfast food was left out each day uncovered, no snack bar. Not a five star experience

Review 5:The family helpful, friendly, but did all the work, cleaning etc, No maid service in rooms

Review 6:Nothing

Review 7:Quick walk to town. Mauro knows all the wineries and can set appointments. Comfortable room. Plenty of room for parking. It was ideal for us.

Review 8:The temperature of the water in the swimming pool is far too high.

Review 9:Everything. I tried hard to find an objection, but I failed to. Wait, got something! The temperature of the water in the swimming pool is far too high. Peter Wesly

Review 10:Breakfast quite poor, fresh fruit only one day. Very basic. Haphazard service, no one around to assist some mornings. Pool temperature was 35 deg plus, very uncomfortable and not acceptable when you want to cool down in over 40 plus temperatures.

Review 11:Lovely outside space, views from bedroom stunning. Faded grandeur but in need of updating over next few years but didn't spoil out stay. Maid service, location and dinner all excellent. Montefalco village is outstanding, romantic, foodie heaven.

Review 12:the food was mediocre. We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel.

Review 13:the location, the private hotel grounds, the staff, beautiful late 19th century staircase and wookwork..

Review 14:We stayed in the annex, which is a bit close to the road. Fortunately, there isn't much traffic at night. Most of the rooms are in the main house, which is likely much quieter.

Review 15:I loved the grounds of the property. This is a beautiful old villa with well-kept landscaping. It is easy to walk into town, but the house itself is in a quieter area away from the shops and restaurants. We ate dinner at the hotel, and it was really wonderful. It was both good food and a good value considering that it included great wine from the region.

Review 16:We really enjoyed spending our Christmas Holiday at this villa. The family was so very kind to us from the moment we arrived until we had to leave. It was an excellent Christmas gift for us to be there this year. We will recommend this place to our friends and return to Villa Pambuffetti the next time we go to visit Umbria. Happy New Year!:). Blessings!:)

Review 17:The grand dame is fading and needs a facelift. The grounds have potential but need some attention. The interior pubic rooms are rundown and well worn. The bathrooms showers appear moldy. A little paint and TLC would do wonders to return her to her past glory.

Review 18:The proximity to Montefalco is excellent - just a short block away from the city gate. The Villa is situated in a park like setting with fabulous views of Assisi, Spello, and the valley below. Individual rooms are are decorated with beautiful antiques. The beds are very comfortable.

Review 19:its our second visit ther . the beatiful garden ,the elegant villa the attentive service and exellent food make us realy happpy ,and the vew from our room left us breathless/

Review 20:The pool water should be changed. Internet router to exchange. Fortunately, the staff can solve any problem and will be OK!

Review 21:Fine dining. Interesting inspiration close to Montefalco. Staff working on quality. There is a chance that in the future the quality is even better. Interesting information about the wine from Umbria.

Review 22:Helpful staff - made us feel welcome and went out of their way to help.

Review 35:I wish I were there longer.

Review 36:I liked everything about this place. The staff, the food, the views... all great. We felt welcome.

Review 37:As with many of these historic buildings, the walls are very thick and I was unable to log onto the internet from my room. I was able to log on in a common area which was fine, as the Villa was gorgeous and the grounds made me feel like I was in a park!!

Review 38:The staff, restaurant and breakfast were excellent!

Review 39:Located in a very small town. No elevator. But the staff will carry your lougage. Only 2 floors. Because of lack of enough customers at april, the restorant did not work. There are not many alternatives for dinner at this small town.

Review 40:Beautiful location. Overlooks beautiful panorama of the valley. Positioned in a beautiful garden. Staff eager to satisfy.

Review 41:Very friendly staff and very helpful. Excellent restaurant and wine list. Our room in main building was nice with two windows and nice view. Good breakfast with lots to choose from. Lots of cycling routes from Montefalco and was easy walk into old village for sightseeing and a change of menu.

Review 42:Our bathroom sadly in need of renovation.

Review 43:This hotel really suits Monte falco. Its large, rambling with beautiful grounds. The food in the restaurant is superb and Mario, is passionate about the area and it's food. We enjoyed talking to him as he served us. Big squashy chairs and sofa's for predinner drinks - comfort plus.

Review 44:Friendly and accommodating staff made us feel welcome and went out of their way to make sure we had a good experience. Dinner was consistently excellent and lots of good local wines served. Hotel is well situated with beautiful views from top floor, peaceful gardens, and just a couple of minutes on foot from the city gates of Montefalco which has a lot to recommend it.

Review 45:It is a very beautiful hotel with a beautiful garden. The rooms arefurnished excelent and it is very quired there. The breakfest was thebest, we ever had in Italy.( We visiting Italy about 30 years). It is avery nice view from the room, all over the valley.

Review 46:A most enjoyable stay in an elegant venue. Great breakfast outdoors in a delightful garden.
