Review 3：We arrived very late at night. After several seconds knocking, the manager came down and greeted us warmly, told us to just take our keys and get some rest, and we would deal with paperwork in the morning. Our room was simply furnished with the most comfortable beds and blankets. We woke in the morning to a scene of true Alpine splendor, including a waterfall directly across the road. Breakfast is a modest and tasty assortment and the staff makes every effort to be accommodating. This hotel was just meant to be a stopover on a return trip to Germany, but we are already planning to go back and spend time in this breathtaking region. And after the great treatment from the Lublass staff, I guarantee we will be staying with them again.

Review 4：1. Most important - amazing views. We had room with balcony with montain view - gorgeous !!! Just for this reason it is worth to visit this hotel. 2. Location, location, location !!! Matrei is a quiet, beautiful town that deliveres everything you need. Hotel is situated 5 minutes drive from Matrei which is perfect because it is in quiet place but still very close to town. 3. Very friendly host. 4. We had halfboard option and I must say food was very good 4. Room - fair size, clean, good value for money

Review 5：Ideal for doing motorbike tours from but perfect for hiking as well. Very friendly, family-ran hotel and they even have Pilsner beer too! Reasonable prices, next time when in Tirol we'll be back for more!

Review 6：Manager is very friendly, offering the service to bring and get us to the busstation in Matrei as start of our hiking tour. Gasthof is clean and offers good value for money.

Review 7：very remote location, difficult to find (check address as many sat nav systems will not find the place , had 2 and both couldnt find it!!). tv in the room only in german and Czech, no english language channel. some language problems in reception, glad I know few words in german.

Great nature and no noise except from the water running outside and a great wiev from the room to the mountains and nearby village, Matrei in Osttirol. Booked it as a "home" for a tour on Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse and that was superb. We were so delighted after the first night (booked two) so we booked a third night. Would like to come back here.
