Reviews for Il Pettirosso
Review 1:Everything was perfect !
Review 2:הכל, everything ! Eleza the owner , lovely , the place clean , beautiful , just perfect to family with kids or romantic vacation !!!
Review 3:Well, too noisy due to the road nearby (but the level of noise is ok if you live usually in the city) and there are 2 windows with which allows light to enter the room in the very early morning. Better to study something to close them.
Review 4:The owner, Mrs Elisa, is simply the best. The chalet is a lovely location. Very romantic, fantastic for couples!
Review 5:Unfortunatelly we weren't able to use the garden because there were some really big dogs that looked friendly but we were a little afraid of.
Review 6:The room was huge and perfect with really beautiful decoration. It was quite close (25 minutes)to Milan. The breakfast was delicious and the owners were very friendly and helpful.
Review 7:Elise was very welcoming and the B&B was excellent overall. We had and 11 and 5 year old and we were able to have our use of the garden and facilities. Excellent B&B!
Review 8:Il Pettirosso is simply delightful and well located to visit the Certosa and Pavia. The room is very airy and light - away from the street, looking over a beautiful garden. The overall restoration is tasteful. The cat liked it as well.
Review 9:We were in the ground floor room where the shower is just curtained off from the bed area, I think upstairs has a completely separate bathroom if you would like more privacy. Clever design very comfortable. Loved the place
Review 10:Nothing
Review 11:The owners are very friendly and helfpul people. We got a bigger appartment than we had booked once it was free, for the same price. The garden is very spacious and beautiful. From the garden and from the room which faces the garden you cannot hear the noise from the street. The breakfast was good, we got all we asked for, e.g. eggs. This is a very children friendly place.
Review 12:Very close to the main road that affected the quality of our sleep. Also the other room that we had, had no outside windows and we woke up early in the morning because of the light. Breakfast was just ok.
Review 13:Beautiful rooms, nicely decorated and very friendly owner. Our dog was so happy there as there is a huge garden with dogs that he played with. Vey clean and the monastery is 2 min. drive.
Review 14:Ventilation was available in the rooms but we were at Il Pettirosso during very warm days, so airco would have been more comfortable
Review 15:Friendly host, free bikes, assistance in reservation of activities, excellent breakfast, very nice decoration of the rooms and large garden
Review 16:Some traffic noise in the morning, but not too disturbing.
Review 17:Friendly and efficient reception. Nice room and clean facilities
Review 18:everything was exelent
Review 19:Excellent room with friendly host
Review 20:This b&b reflects the owner's wish to please. Lots of choices for breakfast. Decorated with fun signs and interesting artifacts.
Review 21:5 miles away from the old city
Review 22:Location, staff, facilities
Review 23:Nothing. Everything was very good
Review 24:The friendly owner.
Review 25:Nothing to mention
Review 26:Extremly friendly staff. Renting bicycles free of charge is really brilliant option especially considering monastery visiting.

Review 31:Quiet, nice rooms, nice garden. Close to Pavia. Gratis mineral water.
Review 32:The hosts were not only really welcoming, they went the extra mile to make us happy. This small place is a real gem. Go there to relax and feel fine!
Review 33:nothing.
Review 34:Owner's hospitality (beautiful Elisa); Stunning Garden; Facilities; Comfort; Breakfast; Beautiful house; Large room; shower amenities.
Review 35:The "Pettirosso" lies directly at the main street between Milan and Pavia. Very noisy. With windows closed it's ok though, but you shouldn't expect a "countryside" type of quiet surrounding.
Review 36:Large rooms and huge garden, very good for our young child. Price is comparably cheap, very good value for money. Located close to Certosa di Pavia and the train station.
Review 37:Located on an fairly busy state road (which also made it easy to find). The two adjoining rooms share a bathroom ..no problem for a family . . we were two couples.
Review 38:Charm and taste in abundance; large, unique rooms in the two adjoining rooms unit. Owner, Elisa, was warm and helpful in accommodating any need. Her dogs were a delight and visited us when playing cards in the back yard, where we were served tea and luscious cake. Easy parking. Good local restaurant very close. A more than adequate Italian breakfast, included meats and cheese, fresh fruit, a wonderful apple coffee cake prepared that morning, and more. 15 minute walk from the Certosa di Pavia worth visiting. Great B&B in busy rural community.
