Review 2：Lovely old building in old part of Licata. Beautiful bedroom with en-suite up a flight of stairs in the bedroom. Breakfast was eaten outside the hotel in the small square. Staff were friendly and helpful. They posted on some belongings we'd left behind.

Review 3：One of the rooms that we stayed in had a very unpleasant odour.

Review 5：First, the water is not potable (sign in bathroom), so bring bottled water. Second, in our room, the bed was in a loft, and you hit your head on the ceiling. I cannot recommend this hotel.

Review 8：Amazing location in the city center. Antique style of the rooms. The personnel is extremely friendly and hospital. So are the owners, and even the neighbors living in the square! We had the best time here.

Review 21：Amazing restored 2 story building located in a tiny square down near the harbour. A fascinating insight into every day life in typical neighbourhood. Originally came to Licata to visit La Madia restaurant and ended up with a lot more.

Review 22：Haphazard traffic and chaotic parking, the condition that comes with a port town with narrow streets and alleyways. I also do not like the tents that bars are permitted to set up on the sidewalks and piazzas; they are like cheap "playgrounds" and ruin the authentic beauty of the town.

Review 23：Antica Dimora is a delightfully quirky place to stay. It occupies 3 sides of a courtyard; the 4th side, a 16th century chapel, S. Girolamo. The decor is authentic Sicilian; each room is different and all upper floors have balconies that look onto the courtyard. Weather permitting, breakfast is served beneath an umbrella in the courtyard. Lavinia, the owner, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. I'm writing a book on Sicily for artists and ended up staying for 5 days and adding Licata's Monte S. Angelo to the book. There, you'll find a castle, an archeological site and sweeping views of the sea and surrounding mountains. Antica Dimora is unlike any place I've stayed in my 5 trips to Sicily.

Review 25：This little hotel is quite remarkable. It occupies venerable old houses fronting a tiny piazza, which also contains a private church, and where breakfast is served: great coffee, delicious pastries. You may need to climb a spiral stair to your room, but there you will have every comfort and a high ceiling with wooden beams. Free parking always available about 100m away. Outstanding value.

Nice, friendly, helpful and english-speakingpersonal, always ready to make your stay even better. In my room therewas shampoo, shower gel, body lotion, toothpaste, toothbrush, and razor.If I ever go back to Licata, I know where to stay!

Review 28：Helpfull Staff, Breakfast excellent, I got the first room using the narrow spiral staircase in the main building, very nicely furnished and view to the small square with the church.

Review 30：This place was so unique. We loved staying here. The staff of one young man was so helpful and pleasant. He really cared that you would have a wonderful experience there. It is just so Sicily. Alley ways and balconys and plaster buildings with a small courtyard piazza where breakfast is served. It was a unique experience and so much better than staying in a big hotel. Very spacious and tastefully decorated in the style of old Sicily.

Review 32：We just loved the 2 days stay at B & B Antica Dimora San Girolamo in Licata and a lot of thanks to the kind and serviceminded Liharu from Sri Lanka, which story touched our harts. There are very few hotels where you can experience the family like atmosphare as we really felt at Antica Dimora San Girolamo , and we are allready planning to visit them again.

Review 33：This hotel is a work in progress. And what progress.!! The refurbishments are of the best quality and tastefully done. The building is in a charming little piazza across from the harbour. The owner Lavinia is extremly enthusiastic and helpful as are the staff. Try it, you'll love it. A new marina about to be finished will be a useful addition to Licata. That's for all you sailing types. ( like us)
