Review 1：Maria (the owner) is extremely helpful. Quiet Location but close to the center (5min walk) Room couldn't be any cleaner. Very good breakfast (yummy)

Review 3：This is truly a gem. Everything is perfect. The hosts are amazing. Rooms very good sized and clean and location is just 2 mins walk away from the centre. We arrived very late and they waited for us and took really great care!

Review 5：Marija, is most probably the best hostess I have come across in my many years of traveling; very helpful from providing a delicious breakfast (including freshly baked Pistachio Croissants!) to recommending nearby restaurants, all of which serve good quality food at reasonable pricing. She was even kind enough to let me use her lock up garage as I went with my own car from Malta. There are plenty of parking spaces on the street. Nicolosi is a lovely town, with enough to come back to & chill after a day of touring other beautiful localities that region has to offer. The room & ensuite bathroom are of high standard with good quality furnishings & a good mattress, very clean as well. Our room had a balcony with a picturesque view of Mt. Etna. We spent three nights & definitely recommend if in the area, this is the place to stay.

Review 6：What a wonderful little B&B! Maria and Salvo are delightful, very helpful with anything to do with visiting Mt. Etna, great restaurant advice. They even emailed us before we arrived to tell us how to get there using the GPS. We returned for another night after our first attempt to visit Mt. Etna was marred by weather. Highly recommended!

Review 10：We received a warm welcome from the owners. Such wonderful people! The lovely lady arranged a discount for us for the Etna excursion and gave us all the info we could wish for. Parking in the street was easy. This B&B is new, fresh, very clean and comfortable. Rooms are large and ours had jacuzzi. We could have tea, coffee and bottled water at any time. We really felt like home! Breakfast was the best we've had in Sicily, lots of choice ...fruit, olives, ham, cheese, mozzarella, olive bread, cakes, croissants, great coffee.... Highly recommended!

Review 13：The B&B is located in a great location for visiting Etna. There are just three rooms and the owner lives on site. We arrived late from a flight from Catania. The owner welcomed us and gave us all the information we needed for visiting Etna and eating locally during our two night stay. We had a family room on the top floor which has two separate sleeping areas, a large bathroom and a terrace. The room could accommodate a family of five. Our room was at the top of the house but help was offered with cases. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. Parking on the street outside was easy. There are a number of good restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was good and offered fresh fruit.

Review 16：Nice and recently refurbished bed and breakfast; very nice and welcoming owners, they gave us all key informations and instructions on Etna's touring site and very good tips for local restaurants (we had amazing see food dinner in Nicolosi, one of the best of our holiday)

Review 18：The hotel was easy to reach by car with the help of the navigator. The car could be parked just in front of the hotel in the street. The staff was very friendly and really did everything to make one feel welcome. The room was spacey, clean and had an individual modern touch to it. One could enjoy the evening/morning watching Etna from the balcony. The breakfast was delicious with a personal touch. We were advised to make sandwiches for our guided whole-day visit to Etna which we also did. In all, the advice by Maria and Salvo was highly useful, and especially regarding restaurants in Nicilosi and visiting Etna. The small town of Nicolosi turned out to be one of the coziest towns we visited during the trip to Sicily.

Review 35：Having small children, getting to the 1st or 2nd floor rooms could be a problem without a lift....however, hosts were always available and helped whenever possible with the carrying of suitcases and children too.

Review 51：We stayed at La Casa del Poeta dell'Etna for two nights at the start of an eleven day tour of Sicily. Situated in the small town of Nicolosi it was the perfect place to stay for our trip up the active volcano Mount Etna. The hosts made us feel very welcome and the varied and beautifully presented breakfast catered for most tastes. Bright green stained croissants that oozed molten green pistachio filling being the local speciality and highlight. My family of four shared the quadruple room which turned out to be two adjoining double rooms with our own little balcony and window views of the volcano. The whole property was spotlessly clean and for a trip to Etna I cannot imagine it possible to find anywhere better.

Review 52：We stayed in one of three self contained units. The two rooms we had with an adjoining bathroom were not only lovely decorated but very functional. With a view of my Etna on one side and a balcony with views of the sea on the other, it was perfect. Our hostess was helpful and gracious. Breakfast was delicious.

Maria gave us lots of information about the area and Etna. Her husband and daughter wonderful.

La Casa del Poeta Dell’Etna makes for a perfect base to explore Etna – we had views of the volcano from our room and were fortunate to be here while it was active. You can safely park on the street in front of the B&B and it’s a short walk to anywhere in Nicolosi. Owners Maria and Salvo are super friendly and made excellent recommendations for restaurants in town and sights to see in the area and around Sicily. The breakfast was simply the best we’ve had in Sicily (or all of Italy for that matter) – very elaborate with sweets (the pistachio croissants are a winner!), cold cuts and cheeses, a variety of organic marmalades and great espresso and freshly squeezed blood orange juice to top it all off. Go here – you won’t be disappointed! PS: our GPS couldn’t find Via Adua; try Via Cardinale Dusmet and turn left, then right to get there.
