Review 5：We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The people were very friendly. The pizza and the breakfast were delicious. There is a free parking lot and you have a nice view of the monastery. The train station is not so far and from there it's only about 15 minutes to Milan.

Review 6：We loved the hospitality of the staff and the excellent food. We arrived without lunch so our hostess fixed a delicious meal. The hotel's location close to the Certosa Di Pavia is perfect. On departure, our hostess dropped us at the railway station saving us a taxi.

There was no problem whatsoever with opening the gate and the door. * Very good breakfast, not the common fare of Italian sweet breakfast; cold cuts, cheese, and scrambled eggs have been offered. * The hotel is located off the main road and is quiet. From the windows you can see the Certosa di Pavia, an incredible landmark of art and history. The hotel itself is a new building, nothing special but functional. * The rooms are large and well appointed, bathrooms are also well equipped.

Review 10：Modern hotel very near the Certosa monastery. Impeccably clean, excellent pizzas and breakfast , very very nice people who were kind enough to rescue me on a very windy day. Wifi works well even on upper floors. Quiet at night, comfortable bed.

Review 29：We liked everything. The hotel is run by the sweetest italian family. They are kind and attentive. We stayed there to visit Certosa di Pavia monastery, which is incredibly beautiful. It is walking distance to the monastery. When we arrived our room was a bit warm and they quickly brought us a quiet fan which cooled it right away. Breakfast was savory and sweet and even included fried eggs, which was a nice surprise. The cakes are all home made,,the capucino delicious. Veronica, serves the front desk and is so sweet. We felt we were part of this family. The rooms were spotless and comfy. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel....you will be glad you stayed there. Thank you for everything!!!!!We will return, We got a big hug from Veronica when we departed...it was lovely there!!!!!

Review 30：This family-run hotel offers superb and kind service. We did not have a car and they were very gracious to shuttle us back and forth to the bus stop and rail station for trips to the university town of Pavia. Thank you, Veronica! The restaurant is great. Breakfasts were satisfying and varied; dinners were delicious, especially the pizza from their wood-burning oven! The place is clean and welcoming.

Review 31：The pizza in the restaurant is amazing! So far the best we've had in Italy! Veronica is warm and inviting and is very knowledgeable about the area. She is a wonderful young lady and host. Our room had a spectacular view of the certosa, we would stay again in a heartbeat!

Review 32：We went to visit the Certosa di Pavia, and as it was just down the road from the hotel, could walk there. It was wonderful to be surrounded by flat farmland but not far from a small village and town. Loved the restaurant, the food was fresh and tasty, and we were surrounded by local families. We enjoyed everything: best nights sleep, best breakfast, best views from the upper level bedroom. The Certosa di Pavia was fantastic, and it is not often such an attraction is combined with a rural hotel of such quality, I loved the whole experience.

Review 36：The hotel is located far from the center of the city and is quite hard to find for the first time. The biggest problem during our stay was a poor technical condition of rooms, noisy ventilation in bathroom, non-working refrigirator, and so on.

Review 40：Instead of staying in a branded hotel in Milan city we chose this time to stay a little (about 30 KM) away from the city and found this small cosy little hotel situated a stone's throw from the magnificent ancient Monastry of Certosa di Pavia . Infront of the hotel there are sprawling rice fields which give you the feeling of a country stay. The hotel is run by a very nice kind family comprising of father, mother, daughter and son, who are ever eager to serve and help you in every way, especially the young daughter who speaks very good English and is always bright and happy, a real sunshine!! In the same hotel also they run an Italian restaurant. The father is the baker and the chef, everyday you get home-baked most delicious bread and crossaints etc. we ever have eaten in the morning breakfast and in the evening you can enjoy the most delicious wood oven baked pizza's and other Italian dishes and suprisingly the wood burnt pizza oven is in the restaurant itself, so you can see your pizza being baked. What an experience!!! I would highly recommend this little place to everyone who doesn't want the plastic smiles of a big chain hotel. At departure time we all had tears in our eyes while parting it was all hugs and kisses, just like leaving your famliy, what a send off!! Would always remember those loving and generous people!!

Review 42：Very kind and helpful staff. Delicious and traditional Italian food in the hotel restaurant. Milan central is only 30-40 minutes by car and metro. Comfortable rooms with private bathrooms. Excellent value for money. Much better choice than the expensive hostels in Milan centre.

Review 45：This family-run hotel is a good value for money. Located just opposite to Certosa di Pavia, it offers a good view on the monument, which is at a walking distance. Parking lot and the restaurant with excellent pizza add to the comfort of the stay.

Review 50：As the hotels in Milan were all booked or outrageously expensive, we were looking for an affordable hotel close to Milan Linate airport. This was a wonderful surprise! Friendly, clean, comfortable and very affordable. It includes parking, internet and a delicious breakfast! The hotel is also very close to the Certosa de Pavia monastery, worth a 30-45 minute visit.

Review 52：Family-managed hotel is about 1 km off the famous Certosa di Pavia - a real diamond in the European architectural treasury. I could see it just from the front yard, some rooms have this view. Restaurant-pizzeria has wood oven, food is simple, inexpensive and very tasty (I tried mussels, pizza, caprese –all was perfect). Locals reserve tables. Very easy to get (by car) to Milan (20-30 min), but try to avoid “tangenziale”. Would stay again.
