Review 1：Incomplete information while checkin. Rooms not ready to receive guests.

Review 2：GM Mr. Joji & Mr. Jai was very prompt and helpful in resolving minor Check-in concerns, even late night. Will comeback anytime. Management is very cautious about every minute & minor comments made by guests.

Review 3：First of all, the images of the rooms on booking.com are deceptive. All of the rooms are incredibly dark, we actually asked to see the other rooms because we thought they had put us in the wrong one. Nope, they're all like crypts.Staff were very rude and shamelessly stare at women. This happens in India, but we found that the men in the hospitality industry are normally more used to western women and don't stare so much. Not here....It's not just the staff...rich businessmen stay here, not the cheery ones you meet on the train, the creepy ones. On our first night we were offered exclusive use of the pool. We accepted the offer and asked how much it would cost. The answer: "We've started doing this for the foreigners", "Why?", "Because it's safer that way", "What do you mean?", "The foreign guests get to swim on their own, so the 'other' guests aren't there", "Erm...OK?!"The restaurant is morose, it's like eating in a funeral parlour. Indian waiters staring at you or the floor in absolute silence and near darkness. Choose room service and eat in your room, it's the same price and you will probably meet the room service guy that we liked.Did you book a room with a balcony? Overlooking the lake? You'll be put on the ground floor or first floor. I couldn't tell, because they had a basement (presumably where the restaurant staff sleep). Who designs a hotel and puts the balcony rooms on the bottom floor? There weren't any balcony rooms above us, we asked to move to one...don't exist. Expect views of the bottom of the trees and creepy staff rebuilding mopeds and power generators.Balconies usually give you a little bit of extra privacy, outside.

Review 5：A bit isolated but good if you want to keep out of the noise/traffic of Kollam city. The houseboat cruise is very expensive (better price elsewhere).

Review 7：although the location has a lovely position on the lake I felt very closed in at this hotel as you don't have your own space to sit outside. The rooms are very dark and furniture looks old. We tried the room service for dinner and the food was ok but in the morning we went for breakfast and the service was very slow taking 40 minutes to finally get your food and then it was really cold and tasteless. Also the night we stayed there was a party just above us and the hotel did not have the courtesy to warn us when we booked in that day.

Review 11：- Extremely poor service and poorly trained staff. - Manager tried to charge us exorbitant rates for transport and houseboats, and tried to bargain right after. - Poor lighting and restaurant was at a separate level with no staff. Had to use phone light to view menu.

Review 27：This place is just beautiful. Located directly at the backwaters. Staff is very friendly and flexilble. Rooms are very nuce, spacious and always clean. We can absolutely recommend this place if you look for a relaxing holiday. The roof top pool is something quite special as it offers a very nice view over the backwaters while swimming. We also took a chance for a boat trip which was also organized by the hotel. Don't miss it! Almost forgot to mention the dekiciius food. Go there!

Review 28：Staff are very poor except the room service guy...Very very poor service from other staffs......All in all I have found a big shortage of staff and there was 2 requests rejected because of this.......

Review 32：We recommend this new Hotel for a relaxing and welcoming stay in Kollam. The wonderful staff is the first reason to stay here; from the moment you arrive to the time you leave, they provide a friendly and considerate service. The rooms are well spacious, well appointed and with wonderful views. A very pro-active team spear-headed by a charming manager swiftly addressed the few sniggles we encountered during the first day of stay.
