Review 1：Very pleasant space with nice serving guys - thank you Toni and Anju. Clean, much light in the room because of large windows, palms and birds outside. Bus stop is in front of the place. Very cheap and tasty breakfast in the room)))

Review 14：The room was spacious and very clean. For Rs 800 we got wifi, ac, hotshower, towel, lcd tv with english channel, electric hot pot with freecoffee and tea.. The balcony was a very nice place to enjoy readingbooks and watching local football league. Beach was 15 minutes walk awayand the beach's view at night was just wonderful. Walking around andseeing the nature were also great experience. Their staff, Tony andAjad, were extremely helpful and friendly. They were more than willingto help us with everything we asked. They even offered to clean our roomwithout being asked. We booked for 1 day at first but ended up stay for2 more days because we felt so comfortable there. Mr Pinto, the owner,was a really kind person. We greatly appreciated that he gave us a rideto Railway Station when we left Goa.

Review 15：The surrounding of the hotel is not ideal. This however is not the fault of the hotel.

Review 16：It was perfect from the start (the owner welcomed us with a hot towel and a cool drink) till the end (the owner arranged a breakfast roomservice for us although we had to leave 6am). The room was very clean, had a nice balcony and a watercooker with coffee and tea. Great value for money

Review 18：We booked for 1 night and ended up staying for 4 more because we loved it so much! Gusmao (the owner) was incredibly friendly and even gave us lifts to anywhere we needed to go. The service was brilliant and the value for money was top! It's close to colva beach which is nice, and yo can go on tours from the local Goa Development corporation office situated on colva beach. Taxi drivers will give you a lift anywhere in Goa from Colva and it doesn't cost much. I thoroughly recommend to all.

Review 21：when we first got there it was perfect but a few days later a tour group came, they were very inconsiderate and LOUD. They left their door open and shouted to each other from room to room, even in the middle of the night. The tour guide was the worst, he had a whistle to call people for breakfast and dinner so he kept blowing it and shouted "dinner ready" he also kept banging on our door as he really didn't care who he disturbed. Apart from this, we had an excellent stay at the hotel, the owner did have a word with the guide to tell him not to make so much noise but he didn't listen. The other major problem we had was after we made the booking, I contacted the hotel to confirm the reservation and they had no knowledge of it. Im not sure if the problem was with booking.com or the hotel itself. We booked 2 rooms, one for us and one for my parents, we was told they only had our room available so after many many long winded emails between us, the hotel and booking.com we managed to get our reservation. I would suggest you confirm your booking and keep in touch with the hotel directly as if I didn't, we would have turned up and had nowhere to stay. Also if booking via booking.com the hotel cannot take payments via internet, I had to get a cousin to go to the hotel to pay the deposit. This was also a big hassle, the hotel wanted to put the rates up and told me if they didn't get the money by the date stated they would have to charge us the higher rate. It was very stressful at the time and we are lucky to have family in the area otherwise I don't think we would have stayed there.

Review 22：excellent staff could ask them to cook for you if needed great location, only 15 min walk to the beach. great English movie channels for when you first try to get used to the time difference. My mum was ill and the staff were very helpful to call a Dr and check in on her to make sure that she was ok

Review 27：We booked for a certian rate at booking.com 1 month ago...then we were surprised to be charged 1000 rupey extra on arrival due that hotel was full!! Then after long time they returned us our 1000 rupey...since the issue was getting more frustrating !!!

Review 28：The hotel had no reception entrance. Having to go through a locked gate everytime was slightly annoying. The hotel were not fully expecting us and the sign for the hotel also needs to be neare the gate entrance as the taxi driver and us were confused as to whether we had the correct place.

Review 29：We enjoyed watching football from the balcony most nights. The staff were extremely helpful and wanted to get everything right. The daily rate of £12 with fan or £15 with air con per night made this place with en-suite facilities a bargain. Fresh towels every day but via request. This place had the hottest shower in all the hotels we went to in India over 3 weeks. We enjoy walking so the 15 min walk to the beach was ideal for us. The local bus stopped very near the hotel.

Review 74：All the staff were extremely helpful and exceptionally kind,.ie a couple of times we were given a lift to the beach or restaurants. Nothing was too much trouble for m gracias. He gave us a SIM card, phoned the doctor and went and bought the medicine with his own money. The room was cleaned every day and the water in the shower was very hot.

Review 76：We arrived 2 hours late into Margoa on the Mondovi express, hot, hungry and tired. After a short taxi ride (about 5K) we got to Ocean Crest and were immediately greeted by name by the manager Nealas. He was so serene, gentle and positive that the troubles of the day dissipated straight away. We were shown to a spotless spacious room with crisp fresh linen and towels. There was an equally spotless ensuite, excellent shower and copious amounts of hot water. A small balcony allowed you to look out over the garden, hear the sounds and get the unique smells that are quintessential Goa. Nealas was the perfect host, nothing was too much trouble. Not surprising really, once I learned that he had spent 15 years on a cruise ship, where his excellent customer service skills were well honed. He gave advice, directions, arranged a day trip and an early morning taxi, all with the least bother imaginable. There is a bar and restaurant across the road from the hotel and the stretch of restaurants that lead down to the beach is only about 800 meters up the road, where you can catch a tuk tuk. The beach is an easily walkable 1.2km, but only about 5 mins on a bicycle, that can be rented for a small fee for the day. This is a little jewel of a hotel!

Review 77：Honestly everything! Neals the owner (not sure if spelt correctly) was amazing. He went for a bike ride with my boyfriend to show him around & get familiar with the area. He lent us the bike and gave us good food when requested (it wasn't included when we booked). Also...we had an upgrade of the room for free :) we were lucky because they had just opened. Room was really comfortable, clean, spacious and hot water available 24 hrs a day. Area is very peaceful, relaxed and quite. It was what we were looking for.
