Review 1：The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. The heaters didn't workproperly so it was very cold in the evenings. The beds were very hardwith thin sheets on in October. There were so many bugs in theapartment!!

Review 2：The location was amazing - next to the water. The staff were lovely butdidn't speak much English. We were upgraded as the actual hotel webooked was further down the road

Review 5：Air conditioning in one of the rooms in our apartment didn't work and the weather was very hot and humid. The hotel staff wasn't willing do do anything about that, and wasn't ready to give us a discount. This was extremely dissapointing for an otherwise very nice location.

Review 7：Balcony a little small to have more than 2 people sitting on it. Mosquitos required serious preventative action in the evenings. Car parking not easy as its very popular with day guests. But town hall parking 10 mins walk away.

Review 8：Excellent location right on the lake. Fantastic, new pool with views over the lake and to the alps. Very good kitchen and total freedom to eat when it suited us. Shops nearby in little village with very good Italian delicacies. Little park next to Hotel with great views, giving hotel an open aspect, rare on the waterfront in Maggiore.

Review 9：1-one room very noisy on the main street with a simple window and without shutter. It was simply impossible to sleep in that room. Luckily they provide extra bed to sleep in the kitchen. 2-remarks that my booking on booking.com was the last and therefore I should not complain

Review 12：There are no photos of the inside of the Annex on this site! I bookedan apartment in the Annex expecting the level of comfort advertised.This was not the case - the Annex is very tired, almost neglected,the balcony was unusable due to being filthy and it is not a pleasantplace to stay at all! Staff were not at all helpful when Icomplained. Do not book the Annex if you're expecting anapartment like in the pictures!

Review 13：The residence is close to the other cities ,very good location. Valentina is very sympathic helpful. Our room was very big with kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Lake view from the balcony was amazing.

Review 19：Wonderful view from apartment and from excellent pool area on the very rim of the lake Charming and helpful lady in charge (who speaks excellent English). Apartment was clean and bright and atttractive. Good restaurant attached.

Review 20：Great apartment. Clean and spacious. We have 2 kids - 6 and 8 and they loved it also. Evening meal on the terrace was lovely. Pool is fab. Peddle boat great fun. Jean-Claude in the restaurant was the best waiter we've had to date.

Review 39：In general everything was as expected. Maybe not having a receptionist. If you have an inquire you have to phone them. Not a problem, but sometime it is not the most convenient.

Review 40：The location and the apartment. The lake and the swimming pool were just there (as seeing in the pictures) The apartment was also very comfortable and well equipped. From our apartment we had a very nice view to the lake.

Review 41：We stayed from Saturday afternoon till Sunday morning: • No one was on reception duty on Saturday. When checking in we were only able to speak directly with was someone from administration. They were the only person from the Residence we saw during our stay. • We did understand that this was a self catering residence. However the Booking.com site clearly states: “On site, you will find a coffee bar and a restaurant” and under Food and Drink Facilities: "Restaurant, Bar, Restaurant With Dining Menu, Snack Bar…” • There was no restaurant or bar service on Saturday night or breakfast service on Sunday morning. • There is no coffee shop on site that we could find, but a local outdoor cafe next door (where it was so windy they had to close down mid-evening). • The local restaurant facilities are quite a walk away from the residence, along a busy coastal road. • We had a two bedroom apartment for three people, with two showers. Only one tiny bar of soap was available. • No on-site parking was offered, or seemed available. There was fenced, unattended lock-up parking about 2-300 meteres away. • The residence is full of warning notices, saying things such as there will be a 50 euro fine if the furniture is moved(!), or collective fines for all guests if one guest does not dispose of their rubbish properly (!). It was not welcoming, expensive and a dispiriting experience for three tired travellers.

Review 43：The cleanliness inside and outside was excellent. Attention to detail was clearly evident. Staff very helpful. Restaurant facility when used was good. Private parking available just a block away. Spectacular views over the lake both from the balcony and from the swimming pool. Would definitely recommend. You need to be aware that this is a residence and not a hotel so reception etc is not manned all the time. Would definitely return here.

Review 44：Poor location with not alot of scope to walk far without going onto quite busy road. Aged, oud fashion furnishings. Parking area away from residence and uncovered.

We got a bit lost on the road, she carefully explained us the way and waited although we came a bit late. Great restaurants couple kms away. Excellent value for money!

Review 49：Not really a negative. Should be preapred to clean and tighty up the room yourself, including taking down the garbage.

Review 50：The hotel is at a gorgeous location at the shore of the lake. It is within walking distance to the village centre. Enjoyed the walk through the narrow streets with authentic Italian architecture.

The studio appartment with view to the lake was excellent, friendly staff The Location of the residence is closer to the Main Road than you would expect from the photos - but no problem since Most of the Rooms are on lake-side...

Review 56：The appartment was 1 km away from the main building. there was no air conditioning but since the weather was perfect it didnt matter much. The description said each appartment had a Flat Screen, but it was far from flat and didnt even work initially.

Review 57：The one bedroom Appartment was right on the lake and had a big and lovely Patio. The kids enjoyed collecting sea shells on the lake shore and had lot of fun in the pool. The parking was secure and free. we had a wonderful time overall.

Review 58：The restaurant on site was overrated and pretentious. We received poor service and were ignored even when we had gone out of our way to attract the servers' attention. I would not recommend eating at the restaurant.

Review 66：The view in our room was poor. The room wasn't clean. We are allergic for pets an dust and the room was clearly not pet and dust-free. It isn't a hotel but apartments. It's also to far from the city's.

Review 68：Make sure you book a room with sea view (magnificent views on the lake).Some rooms are located on the side where the street is which actually aheavy traffic street. We would not recommend those rooms. As it is aresidence not a hotel, the reception is not always occupied make sureyou set an appointment for checking in. We could not connect to thehotel wifi and 3g services are difficult due to the hills. These are allshortcomings that you can overcome with a good booking and then it'san excellent value for money self catering location in an expensive(hotel wise) area.

Review 69：The hotel is located at the lake with a small private beach. Theapartment is good value for money, with a small kitchen and we found itin well-maintained and clean state. There is a restaurant in thebuilding but we haven't used it. A private parking place is atwalking distance. The location is excellent for trips to the isoleBorromea (15 km), the panoramic train from Domodossolo to Locarno, theLago d'Orta and the shopping outlet in Vicolungo. A huge supermarketis located at 10km.

Review 70：The staff were fantastic, the apartment large and really clean, modern and nice. They even got the wifi fixed whilst we were there. The resturant was fanastic. We loved this place.

Whenfinally the system started cause temp too low the fan system wasnoisy....so had to switch off from main panel to sleep.. At cold!Hotels must take more effort in these point involving comfort of sleep.If you are in vacation you can recover sleeping hour in afternoon, butwhen in business trip at morning you need to be fresh for the long dayto come...
