Reviews for Shulamit Yard

Review 1:Shulamit is a gracious and welcoming host. The inn is an old farm house and stable, beautifully repurposed and appointed. The breakfast was spectacular, and well worth the additional charge. We would happily stay here again.

Review 2:Parking can be difficult aND patience is needed to find a close spot.

Review 3:The owner is a delightful, friendly and welcoming host. The property is very pretty and self contained. Our room had a balcony leading to a small orchard of fruit trees which added to the charm. The room is comfortable and the newly renovated bathroom is compact and cleverly designed with it's folding glass doors for the standing shower only

Review 4:Lovely room with private terrace at back, small pool to cool off in, provision of milk to go with tea/coffee making facilities, complimentary wine on arrival, warmth and friendliness of owner, breakfast in garden, lots of quirky bits and bobs in garden

Review 22:Everything

Review 23:I have traveled extensively in USA and abroad. This was the best place and best experience I have ever had. Shulamit and her help care for ever need. They think of things and ways to take care of you that you don't even think of yourself. The place is so peaceful. I was making reservation for next trip before ending this one. Rosh Pina must be as close to the Garden of Eden we can get to this side of eternity!

Review 24:The shower was a bit small and hard to get in and out of.

Review 25:The proprietor was extremely nice. Courtyard area was very relaxing. Free ipgrade on one of our two rooms. Breakfast was delicious as well.

Review 27:The hostess Shulamit was lovely. We had a bottle of wine and dried fruit in our room when we arrived. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was spectacular--the best Israeli breakfast we have had.

Review 28:The small venue was charming, filled with historic touches. It was lovely to step out into the plant-filled courtyard every morning, and even better to eat the multi-course, ever-so-tasty breakfast. Shulamit was extremely knowledgeable, and she helped us make effective touring and dining plans.

Review 29:The peaceful and beautiful garden, the warmth and helpfulness of the owners, delicious breakfast with attention to detail, the cookies and tea facilities in the living room, the zen ambience. This place is a hidden gem!

Review 30:Nothing.

Review 31:Walking into Shulamit Yard is like entering paradise. The first thing you see is the owner, who greets you like an old friend, dispenses with formalities like registration and instead escorts you through a beautiful courtyard and into your magnificent room. From there, you can look out into the adjoining fruit trees. or the hills beyond. Or you can simply admire the room itself, artistically furnished with every possible convenience. Rosh Pina is an interesting town, full of artists, and there are many things to do nearby. But you might just want to sit in your room, lounging in the jacuzzi and snacking on the free dried fruits, taking in the splendor of the Yard itself.

Review 32:Bed was queen size and we've become accustomed to king. But the room was as advertised.

Review 33:Beautiful place with a lovely aesthetic. Wonderful host, unbelievable breakfast.

Review 34:Would have liked a TV but i didn't miss it too much

Review 35:Staff were so friendly, approachable and obliging. Loved al the homemade pastries in the main lounge. Breakfast was amazing.

Review 36:Parking is difficult if the driveway is already taken; it's on asteep hill.

Review 37:Shulamit and her husband are wonderful hosts! Very helpful withinformation about local sights-- especially archaeological as herhusband is an archaeologist! The home cooked breakfast at 50 shekels(about $15) per person was excellent; we should have done it both daysrather than just one. The buildings themselves are part of a pioneerfarm that belonged to her grandparents in one of the earliest Jewishsettlements in the northern Galilee, but have all been recently restoredso that everything in the rooms is new. Shulamit even provided us with asmall bottle of wine in our room as a welcome!

Review 38:As a seasoned traveler to Israel, it is rare that I am shocked by anything... but then comes along Shulamit Yard.. although a little hard to find (ignore googlemaps & just look for the house number and street) the welcome is wonderful, you are made to feel at home and part of the family, the rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable, the yard and pool, comfortable and inviting & the lounge is somewhere you can put your feet up, enjoy the free cookies, play a game of chess or even have a 5 minute nap!... the owner is so helpful with information about restaurants & the local area, and further travel into the Golan. Oh and I almost missed the best thing... Breakfast ... breakfast is amazing, such a variety, cooked and prepared fresh, and enough to keep you going for the whole day! TODA RABA, we will be back!

Review 39:Room only cleaned every other day - would have preferred for room to be cleaned and refreshed every day.

Review 45:We stayed at Shulamit Yard towards the end of our honeymoon. We couldn't have been more pleased. Shulamit Yard was the much needed rest we needed after a crazy week in Jerusalem. The snacks and breakfast were incredible. We soaked in her lovely pool, played chess in the library, and sat in the garden to read and reflect. Shulamit goes out of her way to ensure each guest is well taken care of. I dare say of all of our traveling- this has been the best lodging experience we have ever had. You are cheating yourself if you do not stay here.

Review 46:What a beautiful place - a perfect spot for an extended weekend to relax and enjoy life. Very nice apartaments, a great patio and Shulamit welcomed as we were part of the family. A place were we definitly will go again

Review 47:Maybe heat the pool?

Review 48:I just finished an 11 night trip of Israel... Staying with Shulamit was absolutely and undeniably the highlight of our trip. As we all do on our travels, we search for authentic and memorable experiences. Not only is the property charming and beautiful, but managed by an amazing couple who have a natural gift for hospitality and kindness. We originally intended to just spend one night, but ended up staying three. From the bottom of my heart: thank you for making our trip so unique and memorable! Matthew

Review 49:Fabulous host. Warm and enchanting bed and breakfast. Delightful accommodations. Beautifully presented, healthy breakfast. Very close to great restaurants for dinner. The best ever!

Review 50:Our room was immaculate but lacking "warmth". The ceramic tile floors seemed sterile and installed for easy maintenance but made the room feel somewhat cold.

Review 51:Our host, Shulamit, was a wonder of friendliness and servant-hood. We couldn't have asked for better. She was ready to please at every opportunity. Breakfast was a gastronomical delight.

Review 52:Shumalit Yard was a wonderful place to stay in Rosh Pinna. The owner is very welcoming and provided lots of helpful tips about the local area. The rooms were beautiful and everything was new and clean. We especially enjoyed the breakfast the owner prepared for just the two of us! Rosh Pinna is our new favorite place in Israel - the crisp air, vistas of the Sea of Galilee, and relaxing atmosphere make this small mountain town the perfect place for a romantic weekend getaway.
