Review 1：Restaurant only: risotto uncooked (chef should take his time...) and meat was hard and chewy.

Review 2：Very close to Certosa di Pavia ! Comfortable beds, clean rooms. Hotel situated in a restored farmhouse. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Restaurant next to hotel is not so great, otherwise fine for an evening without having to drive.

Review 7：The rooms near the kitchen are a disaster, there is a fan for the kitchen that vibrates into the rooms and is so loud you can't hardly speak over it and it runs till late at night! Only two little lights in the room, so you can't read, or do anything on the little table that masquerades as a desk! The bedside lamp that is supposed to have two bulbs only had one 20watt bulb and only one little light in the bathroom and toilet so you can't see a thing! The restaurant food is poor and they don't have half the things that are shown on the menu. The house wine was off and they didn't have half the wines on their wine list, not surprisingly they only had the expensive ones. Don't eat at the restaurant it is really bad.

Review 9：Both room and bathroom are very spacious and have tile floors. So, even on a hot summer day it was a bit chilly in the bathroom - be ready if you are coming in fall/winter season.

Review 10：Great location - a short walk from Certosa di Pavia. Free parking, good Wi-Fi, a very nice breakfast (coffee is very good). I strongly recommend to go for a dinner to the restaurant! Local specialties, seafood - and all included in a superb 20€ menu. Good choice of wine.

Review 19：This hotel is very convenient for people travelling by car in the areas of both Pavia and Milan. Besides being close to the famous monument Certosa (Pavia), it is only a twenty-five minute car ride into the center of Milan (closer than many Milan hotels). The hotel offers many free services (wi-fi in rooms, intenet point, private car parking) and serves a varied breakfast. The restaurant is also excellent. A good price-quality.

Review 20：We stayed with three small children in a large 4-bed room. We could park our car safely in the backyard, had Pizza in the hotel's restaurant and the breakfast was great (for an inexpensive italian hotel).

Review 21：The hotel is good for a one-night stay to visit Certosa di Pavia. The bus stops to Milano and Pavia are right in front of it. The hotel itself is nothing special but is positioned in a nice courtyard. The restaurant, though slightly expensive, offers a very good choice of typical Italian dishes. The Certosa monument is about 2 km on foot but it is a very pleasant walk.

Friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Good breakfast with great coffee. Freshly brewed, prepared and delivered to the table by the charming host Marco. The furnishing was very modest, almost without any lighting. We even had to ask for an extra lamp. For a three-star hotel this isn't good enough.

Review 36：Nothing really, considering the room prices. Without air conditioning, the room can feel a bit stuffy in the summer, but we knew that when we booked. Not the hotel's fault, but the mosquitoes in the area are a plague, especially in the evening.

Review 93：The “Hotel-restaurant Italia” is situated in Certosa di Pavia, close to the monumental medieval monastery of the Duchy of Milan. It is the best starting point for examination of the monastery as well the sights of the near city of Pavia. The hotel has convenient, spacious, well-appointed and very clean rooms, which propose one pleasant sojourn. In same time there is a good Italian restaurant in the complex, where can be tasted traditional dishes and local fizzy wines. In the inner court of the hotel there is enough large and guarded parking for tourist that arrive by car. If you have need of morning prayer, there is a beautiful church next to hotel.

Review 94：The room I stayed was not suitable for someone of my height(6ft4inch).ihardly could stand because of the wood frames.I Could not charge myphone because the charging ports were not compatible with my phone.Thestaff were not very helpful to visitor that does not speak italian.ialso discovered that the staff did not know much about the area,so couldhardly be useful to a first time visitor.

Review 107：The hotel is situated in a charming old building with inner patio. Our room was on the first floor and faced the channel and the backyard so it was very cosy and quiet. The staff leaves the impression of a friendly family. We booked a room for three, but it was a family room for four people actually, quite nice and spacious. Breakfast is very simple but sufficient. Plenty of fine clean towels in the bathroom which were changed every day, but the bed linen wasn't changed during our five nights stay. Good value for money - not far from Milano but cheaper. You will need a car of course to get anywhere. The hotel has its own inner parking place. We had a very nice stay in this hotel.

The 2-store hotel with 20 rooms is rebuild tastefully. Good breakfast. We also had a dinner in a small restaurant connected to the hotel. Its atmosphere and staff were friendly. Many customers were local.
