Review 1：An excellent hotel for the price. Amazing bedroom and bathroom, great king bed. Deep bath for relaxation. Location is excellent and service. We had dinner In restaurant was fine dining and very good. Room service was excellent as well. Would recommend this hotel.

Review 2：Female washroom on ground floor near resturant has a very small toilet with basin ,no window no air ,and no emergency bell .door lock circular inset and on outside a slit needing a coin to open it. I was locked in ,hot. airless and panic stricken with rock walls . The manager heard me kicking the door and got me out. This is a fire and safety concern and should be addressed by the local authorities.i am still traumatised.

Review 6：The wifi was really poor. I had trouble even with email. Not acceptable for a 5 star hotel. I had booked the hotel since it said it had a gym, which turned out to be a really small room with only 3 gadgets. I wouldn't call it a gym, but it was quite cute.

Review 7：Nice hotel and room (deluxe), I liked the design/decor of the place. It had good breakfast with ample selection of things. The rooftop bar was great, although it rained.

Review 8：A very good hotel. Ideally located in tourist center of Lecce. The building is old but the hotel is completely refurbished with the most modern amenities. Rooms are spacious with high ceilings. The staff were extremely professional and helpful. Warmly reconmmended.

Review 19：I would not put it as a bad experience, but the wi-fi service could be improved (one has to register user name and password almost each time), and the airconditioning countrols could be fixed (limited range of temparatures available). But these inconveniences are very minor. I would go back to the hotel each time I am in Lecce.

Review 21：The "beach access" you may get with your room is a bit bogus, as far as we could tell, it entitles you to an umbrella on one of the beaches half hour drive away. If you choose to go to that particular beach, which you really have no good reason to do. The wi-fi is terrible.

There was a problem with our room on the first night so we were given a room at the Patria Palace (another 5 star hotel) which was also very nice. The staff were very apologetic and nice and to make up for the inconvenience of having to unpack/pack for one night, they transported our suitcases AND gave us a wonderful upgrade-a terrace suite was was excellent in every way! also complimentary aperativo on the terrace..Would strongly recommend this hotel.

Review 26：The attitude of the staff was not adequate, especially people in the reception desk. One day, the breakfast room was too crowded and there was no place to sit down. I stood there for 5 min trying to call the attention of the waiters but they were too "busy" to see me, I couldn't have breakfast that day. The pillows were too soft and the light of the TV set when it is turned off was so strong that I had problems trying to sleep at night.

Review 27：They advertise as a 5 stars hotel but I think they are just an average 4 stars hotel. However I knew that from the beginning due to the price I payed (100 euro for a single room). The location is really good.

Review 28：We did not have a bad experience, but do have two comments. First, in mid-March the heat was still on, and we found the rooms a bit warm even with the thermostat off. The heated towel rack in the bathroom produced quite a bit of heat, so once we closed the bathroom door at night we we're fine. Secondly, the hotel is looking just a bit worn. With a minimum of touch-ups, the hotel would present much better. In spite of these two comments we throughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Review 29：Right in the center of town, the location was perfect, and it was close to everything. The hotel has a very helpful staff, the rooms are quite comfortable as are the beds, and the breakfast was ample and very good, with a variety of foods for both the American and European traveler. We were there in mid-March, and most of the guests seemed to be Italian, which we considered to be a recognition of the high quality of the hotel. We had one meal in the hotel restaurant. It was very good and nicely served by the same great wait staff that served us in the morning. A plus was a very good local presentation of "Nabucco" which the receptionist suggested to us. We bought tickets and thourghly enjoyed it. It added to the "specialness" of Lecce.

Review 51：the reception staff although were pleasant were incompetent. they gave us a room that looked onto a brick wall. i asked to be moved. i was told it was possible to be moved the following day. they totally stuffed it up and gave the room away to someone else. i was not happy in this hotel regardless of the comforts because of them.
