Reviews for Hotel Medea
Review 1:The owner of the hotel was very helpful in setting up wine tastings. She literally got on the phone for over an hour and set up excellent appointments. The service way exceeded our expectations. The restaurants they recommended, especially the seafood one a couple miles down the road, were excellet.
Review 2:Breakfast area does not have WiFi (it's at the cafe next to the hotel). Breakfast is a bit typical for this area (I assume) with croissant, cake, jam, nuttella, coffee/tea, yogurt and juice. But this is fine since you can go all in during lunch time.
Review 3:Nice location which is easy to get to and still feels a bit in the countryside. All the facilities in the hotel were comfortable. Fantastic location to see the wine areas or a day tour to Torino.
Review 4:staff very helpful
Review 5:Only great if you have a car.
Review 6:Modern hotel. Great rates. Friendly staff
Review 7:The hotel is far from Alba and there are some problems if you want to take meal outside of the hotel - no food facilities around.
Review 8:Family owned & run. Extremely pleasant surroundings. Modern & clean with large bathrooms and a convenient "chair" that is a third single bed. We should have stayed more than 1 night.
Review 9:It was a bit pricey for what you got.
Review 10:For what it was, a modern hotel set on a main road leading into a city it was excellent. A good location for day trips but not so good if you liked to walk around the town.
Review 11:Breakfast was really poor: stale croissants and sandwiches I didn't dare to try.... The location is quite unfortunate too, considering you are in one of the most beatiful areas in Northern Italy. But it's ok if you have a car!
Review 12:The room was clean and spacious, the bed really comfortable. Great for the price they ask.
Review 13:I thought the staff on arrival very abrubt, no smiles or nice greeting on arrival or at all when I was there. After travelling a long distance I think service with a smile very important. Everything seemed too much trouble. I asked for a cup of tea one evening, you would have thought I asked for a 3 course meal. Not very hospitable
Review 14:it was clean and i liked the bar outside
Review 15:Breakfast was poor. Not close to good restaurants.
Review 16:Good value. Close to the Barolo wine region. Good wi fi. Good staff and service.
Review 17:receptionist was a little bit overaged and could not make an invoice for a foreign company
Review 18:easy access to the room
