Reviews for Silent Arrow
Review 1:nothing
Review 2:This hostel locates in the middle of nowhere. You can enjoy sound of nature and light from stars. Stuffs are very friendly and kind. Facility is also good.
Review 3:Just a warnng: charge your devses ahead of time. No electricity, which is fine but might be a problem if you need to rely on GPS etc.
Review 4:Athmosphere and people.
Review 5:Silent Arrow has a great atmosphere. Very nice people, a place to relax and hang out. You can have your own fire at night and just watch the stars or sit with fellow travellers and talk. As there is no electricity there is nothing else to do than that - but for us that was perfect. The tents are cozy but simple and you have to make do with two shared bathrooms. But all in all it was a great experience!
Review 6:Great location in the desert. Both communicative arrangement of the common tents and privacy for the private tents. No electricity, no wifi :-) We were there too short, but it seems to be a good place to meet interesting people.
Review 7:If you want to party and to get drunk, don't go there! Respect the place and dessert and other people around you!
Review 8:extremely friendly and open minded staff. These people are just awesome. The place is like heaven, very quiet , no internet. It is just a place you will fell in love with head over heels!
Review 9:did not get too much information on the area from staff and also, a few more candels could add comfort and atmosphere - but all in all a great experience
Review 10:The location, star gazing, the atmosphere
Review 11:Nothing bad as such, but if you are on a budget and you don't want to use the pool, then there are cheaper places around.
Review 12:Very comfortable beds (too comfortable, I never wanted to get up!), pretty location, good views, nice to have a pool even though it was too cold to use it. Friendly staff and clean bathrooms.
Review 13:The price does not make sense at all !!!! costs $ 20 for an adult or child!!! Showers in a poor level & cleanliness Overall its a nice place that needs serious improvement, I felt that what interests the owner this is my money, and I did not even invoice
Review 14:Very quiet place and nice people
Review 15:no possibility for pick-up, its a twenty minute walk from the bus station, hence better to come by car as there is no electricity, there is also no wifi, but it certainly adds to the romantic atmosphere
Review 16:the stars at night, being alone in the desert, cozy atmosphere, feeling like in a bedouine camp (it is not one)
Review 17:I booked almost a month in advance and part of the booking was not confirmed a few days before the arrival. A 50% discount in the dorm was then offered. For what you pay, the service given is too low. Tents and dorm are overpriced. The location itself cannot be enough. FYI the site has no view over the crater.
Review 18:The washrooms are good and clean.
Review 19:Great location in the desert , basic tent accommodation , That has reasonable facilities , location really makes the place and would like to visit again for a longer stay.
Review 20:The location is awesome of that place. It is a little bit outside of town which makes it extremly quite and you have a perfect sight on the stars by night.
Review 21:The owner manager was completely unfriendly and unwelcoming and the place was filthy- I was very badly bitten by fleas and a spider.
Review 22:Setting- in the negev desert, the setting was magical.
Review 23:Tent smelled like wet wool from rugs on ground. No locks on doors (/its a tent)
Review 24:Camping-like experience. Absolutely silent night in yurt with family. Cool weather but plenty warm blankets, pillows, bed. No electricity, but warm running water and clean bathrooms and shower. Communal kitchen makes it easy to care for family, cook, etc.
Review 25:Bring a proper flashlight!
Review 26:We got a separate tent with a comfortable large twin bed. Even though it was February, it was not cold at all. Considering that the place has no electricity, showers were pleasantly warm.
Review 27:It was very cold and we asked multiple times to be allowed to make a fire in the fire place or to turn on the heather in the big tent. It was wayyy too cold, but the owner wanted to go to sleep and didn't want to be bothered to make us fire. (We were the only one there). Ended up with a cold because of this. No towels available. Only after we asked for it three times.
Review 28:Loved to stay at this place in the summer
Review 29:An original accommodation with nice staff. The tent was really comfortable. The toilet was clean and hot water was available. The view was outstanding
Review 30:A bit noisy at night from passing cars.
Review 31:Great staff, nice tents, good location to go hiking from!
Review 32:Wonderful place with great atmosphere and people
Review 33:mosquitoes.
Review 34:Great place for those who seek something at a distance form normal civilized condtrions. The lack of electricity is a plus, if expected.
Review 35:Wawoo this is the most beautiful and amazing place in the world!!
Review 36:No fridge to keep our food cool in the desert. Not much to do activity wise.
Review 37:Great staff and atmosphere.
Review 38:If your goal is to enjoy the silence of a desert - this place is for you.
Review 39:The children enjoyed the atmosphere very much.
Review 40:Toooo expensive for this kind of camping experience.
Review 41:Being in middle of nowhere.
Review 42:Great location, nice atmosphere and pleasant owner. Clean and nice showers were a good surprise. Everything has a style in conext to the location.
Review 43:We had a very pleasant time. We stayed in one of the domes (tents). The staff was great. Thx
Review 44:Beds could have been a bit cleaner.
Review 45:Great atmosphere in the nature with great views. Very relaxed
Review 46:Great place to Stay with a Special atmosphere; good for getting to know people, both natives and tourists alike!
Review 47:No electricity Poor organization
Review 48:Beautiful area Lots of hot water for the showers
Review 49:Relaxing and calm place.
Review 50:Great, relaxing and alternative place. Worth to stay a night there!
Review 51:It was among the highlights of our trip. Fantastic facilities and location - very close to the Ramon crater, and watching the sunsets and sunrises was an awesome spectacle within a 10 minute walk.
Review 52:It had no WiFi although it claims to have it... However it was a great stay.
Review 53:It has an alternative flair and is located in the desert. The tents feel very cozy. It is closely located to Makhtesh Ramon, a great crater. Watch the sunrise there!
Review 54:Our teens were very skeptical of Silent Arrow. They would have preferred the familiar, sterile rooms at a hostel. Make sure you are open to something a little different before you book. The only negatives were using a flashlight in the bathroom at night and other guests who were not at all quiet when they got up early.
Review 55:Silent Arrow has a wonderful vibe. When we arrived we were welcomed into the community tent and given tea and baklava. We slept well on comfortable beds. We enjoyed meeting and talking to other guests. We would definitely stay again and would recommend Silent Arrow to anyone who enjoys camping or trying something new.
Review 56:There is no type of electricty whatsoever ( which is good) but there should be at léast linterns or battery lamps for guests.
Review 57:The kindness of the staff was the Best. The place has basic food for sell and the owner offered things from his stuff to even complement our meal (great service) Bed was extremely comfortable And clean A great place to relax And conect with the nature
Review 58:You get what you booked for, that is fine. We booked for a private 2 person tent, slept fine, but we did pay almost the same price as a cheap hotel in Eilat. So price quality balance is a bit....
Review 59:As a visitor you are staying in a tent in the desert just outside Mitzpe Ramon. It is a nice place, with good atmosphere. You can´t expect the luxury of a hotel, for a camping site the facilities are fine. There is no electricity, romantic, but there is warm water. Lovely place to stay if you don´t hang on to luxury but do appreciate tranquility.
Review 60:According to the add wifi was available. This is not the case. There was even no electricity. This is fine. This was a nice experience. But I would rather have the information before booking. The same with regards to the price: the room was cheaper. Still I prefer to have complete and correct information when booking.
Review 61:Nice setting. Nice "desert experience".
Review 62:If you are looking to unplug, turn off the phone, just chill out and enjoy a candle lit evening, then this is the spot. Staff is warm and welcoming and location is perfect for going on day hikes in to Mitzpe Ramon. Full of honestly charm that is inherent with true and pure simplicity.
Review 63:I wouldn't say it's worth the money. We paid less in Jerusalem and got breakfast and a proper bed and excellent service included. I didn't have a good night's sleep - although we were offered as many blankets as we wanted these weren't enough to stop me waking up hourly with a cold nose! I was in a single bed in a 3-person tent and it was very narrow and my feet were hanging off the end - I am 5'9" though.
Review 64:This is very unique accommodation, I've never been anywhere like it. We only met the owner once, the place seems to be run by volunteers who live and eat there for free in exchange. They were very nice, but they're not trained of course. We had a nice time sitting in the communal tent by a fire in the evening. There were only 3 other guests there, including the 2 volunteers, so it lacked atmosphere, though I'm sure this would be different at weekends or in the high season. I really wanted to like this place but it's rough around the edges and just wasn't very comfortable. The crater itself is great though, and well worth the journey.
Review 65:What a beautiful time in Silent arrow! The place is so Magic, placed in the middle of the desert! I really had a good time there! The staff are really friendly and organise, all is very clean and nice! They served us nice tea from the garden, and recomend me some places to hike. the night was amazing, the sky, the stars... i would definitly come back! Toda toda To Silent Arrow
Review 66:The sound of silence
Review 67:a brilliant accomodation with nice staff, if you want to relax in the desert, this is a perfect place to do it
Review 68:No electricity, stunning views
