Reviews for Cranny's B&B

Review 1:Friendly helpful landlady with a great personality. Premises/sheets/towels/washing facilities etc all spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds. Very good breakfast. Ideally placed for Rosslare ferry terminal - 3 minute drive and very easy to find on the main road out of Rosslare. Good parking facilities. Two good pubs less than 300m away for evening meals out.

Review 2:We enjoyed everything and would definitely revisit.

Review 3:Extremely friendly owner. Very helpful and accommodating. Definitely willing to go beyond expectations to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Very clean premises. Highly recommended. Fabulous breakfast. Set us up for the day and Ann was very happy to accommodate our early ferry departure. Great stay.

Review 4:It was just what we wanted after arrving off the ferry, a clean and friendly place to lay our heads. The place the owner suggested we went to eat was great as well. We will be back.

Review 5:Amazing host she could not have been more helpful and friendly especially after a long journey. Breakfast was lovely although we chose to sleep in and skip the cooked portion but it was still all lovely. Very helpful when we were looking for a local restaurant and had a nice meal

Review 6:Delightful bed and breakfast, perfectly located two minutes drive to the ferry port at Rosslare and two minutes walk to two very good pubs, serving lovely food. Ann is a wonderful hostess.

Review 7:Lack of shelf space in bathroom but otherwise perfect

Review 8:Ann is lovely and very heloful Pub up road she suggested terrific meal and great atmosphere Very good Anne Pincott Australia

Review 9:Really warm welcome, good advice about where to eat and lovely breakfast. Excellent nights sleep and we woke refreshed for the next stage of our journey

Review 10:Warmth of welcome, lightness and airiness of accommodation, comfort and attention to detail. Fresh milk with the tea-making facilities was a real plus.

Review 11:Ann instantly made us feel welcome and developed a rapport with our teenage sons: "You see, she understands us, Mum". The main hit for them being a good wifi signal :) Cranny's B&B is spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished and only about 3 minutes to Rosslare ferry port. We hadn't booked breakfast but changed our mind at the last minute and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was excellent too. We'd definitely stay at Cranny's again.

Review 12:This B&B is in a great location if you are getting a ferry from Rosslare as only a few minutes from the port. Our room was very comfortable with excellent ensuite facilities. We hadn't prebooked breakfast but decided there was time for this before catching the ferry and we were glad we did as it was excellent. Highly recommend this B&B

Review 13:Nothing.

Review 14:Ann is the most welcoming and charming host and always makes you feel relaxed comfortable as soon as you arrive. Which is why Cranny's is my go-to B&B when I need to stay in Rosslare before or after a ferry trip. Nothing is too much trouble. The accommodation is spotless, you feel like the first person to stay in the room. Ann's breakfasts are delicious and a great convivial atmosphere in the breakfast room makes for a good start to the day. The location is ideal for the Ferryport but I imagine it would also be a good base for exploring this beautiful corner of Ireland.

Review 15:Anne was very welcoming and offered tea etc after my long journey and gave me a fruit pack as was leaving early. Room was perfect. A fab experience all round. I will be back!! Highly recommended.. Thank you!

Review 16:Wifi was hit or miss in our room. No biggie for us.

Review 21:Ann was so friendly and helpful and made you feel welcome from stepping inside of her door, as was the young lady helping her with breakfasts. The house was extremely clean and very modern and as an added bonus to our stay there are some lovely beaches in Rosslare. 2 minutes to the Port was great to.

Review 22:Pressure in shower very very bad. Bed wasn't the most comfy. If someone smokes out back, the smell immediately comes into the rooms.

Review 23:Location is great if you need to catch the ferry. You can also walk to restaurants

Review 24:Spotlessly clean, no 'shake 'n vac' smell. Quality linen and beds. Helpful, friendly welcome. Proximity to ferryport and restaurants. Freshly cooked breakfast.

Review 25:Nothing!

Review 26:Very friendly, warm welcome. Beautiful clean, modern facilities. Room was a standard size but had space for out needs. The bathrooms were a little small, but well equipped. The breakfast was hot and delicious and with plenty of choice. Fee wifi worked well in the bedroom and the guest lounge was very comfortable. Landlady gave good advice on where to eat in the evening.

Review 27:As we were booked on an early ferry the next morning we chose this place which is close to pubs, supermarket, the harbour but still very quiet. Ann, the host, was smashing and we felt very welcome being supplied with everything we asked for.

Ann the owner was so lovely, the room was very nice, spotlessly clean and well appointed, parking onsite was great and location for the ferry trip the following morning was perfect. The bed was comfy, breakfast was plentiful and very good. Would highly recommend to others and happily stay again if the opportunity arises.

Review 36:The generous helpings of Irish hospitality at all times the closeness to the ferry and breakfast. Parking was not a problem with direct access to the N25 and good pubs nearby The owner, Ann could not be more helpful and welcoming and added laughter to the beginning and end of our holiday We hope we can return

Review 37:Wish we could have stayed another night!

Review 38:The hostess was fantastic. She was so welcoming, she suggested a great pub for dinner within walking distance. The B&B was immaculate and had everything we needed. We didn't have time for breakfast in the morning, but I'm pretty sure it would be amazing.

Review 39:After a very long drive from home and the ferry not docking until after 18.00 we found the b&b to be very comfortable and convenient plus being close to a couple of eating houses. The service was first rate and enjoyable.

Review 40:The position of this superb guesthouse is great. Although on the main Road, it is really peaceful and we had a great night's sleep. Ann is very welcoming, funny and cooks a mean breakfast, also, she is a mine of information on the local area. The room was spotlessly clean. We will certainly return if in the area.

Review 58:Good showers (warm, good pressure), Ann was wonderful, easy walk to the ferry port

Review 59:Several hours before we were due to arrive Ann telephoned me on my mobile asking if I would like directions to Crannys - a very good service. Then a big welcome when we arrived. Everything was lovely, and spotlessly clean.

Review 61:Getting op early for the Boat

Review 62:It was fantastic Ann O Neill is the owner, she will make you very welcome, she is very bubbly and chatty. When you came to breakfast Ann was dancing from table to table what a way to start your day. When you walk out Cranny's gate two minutes on your left walking you have two Pubs with excellent food and two minutes drive on your right is the Boat to Fishguard. What more could you ask for.

Review 68:Owner Ann a loverly host and Cranny's is well placed for the ferry in Rosslare Good breakfast and easy walk to nearest pub for dinner

Review 69:Noise of lorries early morning reving up engines - however, that was because we had the bedroom window wide open. On our second stay we closed the bedroom window and we weren't disturbed at all by any lorry noise.

Review 70:Everything about Grannys was great, location, host, room and fab breakfast. The accommodation is superb beautifully appointed and would easily rival a five star hotel for fittings and cleanliness.

Review 71:Anne was a breath of fresh air, made us feel very welcome, Breakfast was excellant. Enjoyed the atmosphere and food at the pub just yards down the road. Good start to our holiday

Review 72:Nothing, although power shower in adjacent room makes a din and you would not want it fired up in the early hours of the morning !

Review 73:As with our stay last year everything. Anne is great and provides a really warm welcome, excellent breakfast and quiet, clean and comfortable rooms. We stayed last year to start and end our south coast tour, did the same this year to complete the lap and if we come back would certainly stay again.
