Review 1：Wifi didn't work, host is a little pedantic meddler, rooms are dark and ' cold' decorated

Review 6：Bugs in our room and our bed. Airco and minifridge not working. Breakfast was poor. Service was also poor, nobody exept the owner spoke English. The road leading to the hotel was very bad. Diner was ok but too expensive, which we noticed at the end of our stay. Information was poor. creditcardpayment didnt work.

Review 8：Owner was friendly but inflexible. Not allowed to eat outside; no tea or coffee during the day; nothing in the bar; no parasols for shade. Food was very ordinary compared to other places in Sicily. The price for two nights were luxury prices but there were no luxuries. Very over priced. Minimal minibar and shampoos etc. hairdryers only on demand including more water.A no food policy in rooms but nothing at the bar during the day. This is a very nice location but feels like its on a very tight budget.

Review 10：The road up to the hotel was somewhat torturous, potholes and bad roads seem to be the norm in Sicily however this one was not good. The last part of the road and drive up to the hotel was terrible and we were somewhat concerned for our hire car!

This charming hotel is placed on a hill with incredible view over the sea, the hills an the vineyard - you can't get enough of the view - belive me :) The room we've booked was really comfortable an the beds are high class. You can book a homemade dinner (4 course-menu) at the hotel for 27/28€ per Person and a homemade wine for 8 € a bottle - it was delicious! Thanks a lot to Carlo & Heini for an unforgettable stay at your Masseria- we will come back again for sure!

Review 24：The location isn't as bad as other reviews suggest. We arrived late at night in the dark and managed to find it without any hassle. However, the road is very bumpy and be prepared for your hire car (which is a must) to get very dusty!

Review 25：We stayed at Masseria del piano for 3 nights at the end of July as part of our 10 day trip around Sicily. The place itself is absolutely beautiful and is in a wonderful setting. We were looked after extremely well and given great advice about the surrounding areas. The 4 course evening meal was fantastic too and great value.

We traveled with small baby and they did what they could to accommodate. - Beautiful location and property, rustic, authentic. Pretty pool overlooking the valley. The place has been fully refurbished in modern and tasteful style. - Delicious food, all freshly baked and cooked (breakfast and dinner). Feels like at home!

Review 28：Friendly owner and family. Helped with ideas for our trip. Organized a beach day at their partner hotel. We were on honeymoon so we were given a lovely suite and gifts to celebrate. Amazing pool, bathrooms clean, tidy and overthing worked! Highly recommend!

Review 37：It is hard to find - no-one arrives without a story of their misadventures. The entry road is beyond the tarmac up a stoney cart track. The area around the hotel can get muddy in wet weather.

Review 38：Owners are really super and friendly. The rooms are big and airey each having a small patio. There is an infinity pool and the cooking by the owner's wife is superb. My wife is gluten intolerant and she catered beautifully for her. The wines are from their own vines and are lovely. Often no man-made noise can be heard which is a real treat. A truely wonderful and tranquil place.

Review 49：The unique situation of being so close to the beach yet being in thecountryside too - a combination of beach, mountains and vineyards whichis so unusual. Carlo and Hedje were such attentive and welcoming hostsand really go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable. They havelovingly restored the old building and tastefully decorated it.
