Review 1：Although there was no elevator, which we were expecting, we loved our room. It had beautiful views, was quite large and quiet. This place really felt like a family home. The owner we really enjoyed getting to know and he was very helpful.with suggestions for restaurants etc.. The location was excellent - you could just walk out and you are right in the heart of Certaldo

Review 3：Set in walls of old town on hill. Superb views from room over valley to hills beyond. Good breakfast on terrace. Owner speaks good English (and plays piano).
Review 4：Delightful setting, characterful building with a sense of history, simple but nice rooms. Wonderful terrace with a view for breakfast. Excellent choice of restaurants in Certaldo Alto. Allowed to drive into historic centre of Certaldo to drop-off pick-up at hotel with nearby free overnight parking. We look forward to the re-opening of the hotel restaurant.
Review 5：Well, it is a little bit expensive, but I suppose this can be justified on the back of the location during Mercantia-- the incredible building and surroundings. But, I expected something a bit more for the price, and the staff could have been a little more enthusiastic and friendly.
Review 6：The beautiful, picturesque, typical Tuscan location and the stunning garden bar. The rustic, atmospheric room. The owner was very kind in getting me a ticket for the medieval festival, Mercantia, free of charge. The location is absolutely perfect for Mercentia, on the main street and Mercantia is amazing!!! Go!
