Reviews for Hotel Britannia
Review 1:Too expensive stay in a cheerless hotel that doesn't offer facilities like a hotel bar. In the room there was a minibar without drinks, the safe could not be used, the showertub was not ok- needs repair!
Review 2:Location, breakfast, friendly staff
Review 3:This hotel is centrally situated for the seafront, the main shopping streets and the numerous restaurants of Knokke-Heist. We received a fulsome welcome from the receptionist despite our early arrival. We had reserved a car park space (€15 per day) which was prudent though not cheap. Our room was spotless with good space and a very comfy large double bed. Much to our surprise our room included a kitchenette with cooker, sink and fridge. Breakfast was given a big build up but whilst plentiful and well laid out we had tasted and seen better. There is a large lounge with plenty seating though we hardly spent time in the hotel to comment further. As an overnight stop before catching a ferry it was a comfortable stay but at €171 an expensive B&B. But everywhere in Knokke is the same!

Review 5:Breakfast was wonderful
Review 6:The room was a bit outdated and dark. but good beds and spacious room. The elevator was very small and was hard to get a baby stroller in.
Review 7:Loved the birds in the living room and a very good breakfast in a light and spacious room. The morning sun was lovely to have breakfast in.
Review 8:Water in the minibar we were told was free but in fact we were charged for it
Review 9:Comfort cleanliness and friendliness of staff
Review 10:Soft bed
Review 11:The style
Review 12:Rooms are too small :-(
Review 13:Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Located close enough to beach and shops, yet far enough to have peace and quiet.
Review 14:We'd booked a family room. What we got were two separate rooms with a connecting door. The decor reminded us of the 1980s, maybe early 1990s (green wall paper and brown carpet on the floor). However, when the rooms were cleaned in the morning, we peeked into some of the other guest rooms, which looked considerably more modern than ours, so maybe the ugly decor is only true for the "family rooms". Room insulation is not great. Overall I felt that the hotel could use some updating.
Review 15:Breakfast was excellent, nice and varied, including eggs and bacon, different types of bread, cheeses, jellies, pancakes, etc. The staff at reception was friendly and accommodating. Decent clean bathroom and shower with good water pressure.
Review 16:I was surprised, that late arrival (after 23 hrs) could be a problem, but it was well taken care of.
Review 17:It fully fulfilled my wishes and expectations for my visit this time;Very friendly staff
Review 18:A very nice hotel with beautiful lobby, common areas, clean, nicelydecorated rooms, a bit pricy, but worth it. Even had a kitchenette inour room, which was very convenient.
Review 19:Dirty room (201), poor facilities, bathroom unacceptable, receptiondenying and even aggressive after my complaints. No value for money, notat all. (Eur 170 plus ...)
Review 20:Breakfast extra-ordinary, breakfast-room nice facility.
