Reviews for Prato A Baldo

Review 1:we could hear the noise of the nearby motorway, which sometimes disturbed the peaceful quietness of the area. (Suite with Sauna - the only one with the terasse next to the house - the other guests didn´t hear it) Television and Internet not properly working in the room - but we didn´t need it - just an Information for those who need it. we had to ask for fresh towels one time, but got it immediatly

Review 2:very friendly. good breakfast with homemade bread and cakes, tomatoes of the own organic gardens. homemade dinner on demand - very tasty clean and big pool

Review 3:Not really a dislike but the wifi was a little weak in the bedroom.

Review 4:We chanced on this charming place using the Booking.com app and checked in 10 minutes later. Leila was very welcoming and made our stay delightful. The room is spacious and the bed very comfortable with fresh white linen. Great shower but no bath. Breakfast was Italian buffet style and delicious. Winston and Narooma the dogs are very friendly too.

Review 5:Limited possibilities in the close proximity

Review 6:Warm welcome possibility to have diner (recommended) Green environment with very nice views Facilities (BBQ, Pool)

Review 7:very hard to get connected to WIFI, only on one spot of the property; bandwidth fine; Rather dark room (which is kind of Tuscan style and meaningful under hot conditions)

Review 8:Very friendly staff Lovely surroundings Stylish room, perfect bathroom Good breakfast for Italian standards (where breakfast is of little importance)

Review 9:- Nothing - W-Lan can be improved

Review 10:- We (parents with kids 18, 14) have taken the suite with sauna - Nice Place to stay - Very pleasant houskeeping woman - Good breakfast - Sweeties during the day - Easy to find if someone can compare streets on booking.com and on GPS

Review 11:It was very hard to find due to insufficient way-description and difficulty to reach the owner who was away at the time - once you know the way it gets much easier, so be sure to make early contact and don't arrive after dark! Internet worked only once in a while (unfortunatelly we needed it!). There are the animals of the property: cats and 2 dogs - they are nice but you must know it and like animals around!

Review 12:Beautifully located, close to Massa Maritima (beautiful!),quiet (only reacheable by car!). Nice and well kept garden next to an olive plantation. Nice pool w beatiful view. Room and bathroom were ok. Very good breakfast w homemade cakes, bread, jams... served and prepared by a very kind English-speaking employee who was the only one in charge the days we spent there.

Review 13:Mosquitos!

Review 14:The location was fabulous being close to Massa Maritima yet only 20 minutes from the sea. The owners and staff could not have been more helpful. The food was superb. We will definitely return.

Review 15:If I have to say one minus (which is very minor) - the internet was unstable at times. But not important when everything else is plus.

Review 16:Calm Typical Toscan settings The owners are adorable and generous Dinner was excellent Service is impeccable The rooms are comfortable and very clean Bathroom is A+ The dogs are amazingly cute

Review 17:We enjoyed one week in this little paradise at the foot of the hill of Massa Marittima. The large garden with the pool and the deck chairs under the large trees was a perfect place to relax, listening to the cicadas and watching the playful little dog. The very friendly host & hostess served coffee, tea and self made "dolci" in the garden. From the first day on the very amiable lady who served breakast remembered our personal choices of coffee/tea/chocolate. Breakfast and dinner (on request) out in the garden together with the other guests was an experience in itself and a chance to exchange travelling experiences. We stayed in the Ciliegio room with the romantic four poster bed, and had a terrace with a beautiful grape pergola. The nearby town of Massa Marittima is a half an hour walk (steep) uphill and can be reached also by car on narrow roads.

Review 18:Very sympathetic and welcoming owner. Rooms are simple, but the property is lovely. Atmospheric spacious private and common gardens with a pool make the stay very enjoyable. The breakfast is simple but with superb quality local products.

Review 19:Thee was nothing I didn't like

Review 20:The excellent service provided by all staff in a friendly manner and help readily offered over and above that expected. Prato del Prado is a delightfully situated far enough away from Massa Marrittima to relax and enjoy the facilities available, but close enough to visit. The home prepared breakfasts were superb with own produced and cooked delicacies .

Review 27:Prato a Baldo is completely new, and we booked it when there were no reviews yet. We were not disappointed. Comfortable rooms, especially the beds are of good quality. Peaceful place in the countrysite, a 5 minute drive away from the center of Massa Marittima. Location suits also when you fancy a day at the beach. Good price/quality ratio.

Review 28:Laila & Mass plus their two children welcomed us very warmly upon our arrival. We spent a couple of days at Prato a Baldo & loved the quietness of the location, having breakfast outside, relaxing by the poolside & visiting nearby Massa Marittima.
