Villa Esperia is a small, cozy hotel set inside an Art Nouveau villa located in one of the most exclusive areas of Mondello.
The establishment is a few steps from the sea, and a few minutes from the center of the city, by car.
The property was totally renewed and furnished with the greatest care. It reminds of a private home, where the customer is welcomed in an informal way but with professional service.

Review 1：Small room and too expensive for such price. One day Internet was not working at all, however may be this is not hotel fault. The lady at reception in the morning is not so friendly, however she helped. No safe box on the room, no fridge

Review 2：Location and the territory, man at reception in the evening

Review 3：Our room was on 3rd floor next to elevator. In evening and in night closing elevator door and people going from elevator to rooms was too noisy and disturbing. Also elevator motor was too noisy and disturbing all night. Next thing is not regarding hotel, but it might help some travelers : All beaches in Mondello are surrounded by fence and usually very expensive around 20 eur person/day. There is very limited free beach area and there are no facilities on beach (free area). (no water to wash your feet from sand) But again, this is not regarding hotel but more regarding location (Mondello)

Review 4：Breakfast was very good :-) and staff was very nice. Even when some of them did not speak perfect English they was helpful all the time.

Review 5：Low English capacity of the people at Reception. The most common answer you may expect from them: 'I do not know' (except for Senior Vittorio who was very helpful when I asked for any information etc. Thanks Vittorio!

Review 7：The unfriendly arrival at reception was very disappointing considering all the other hosts in Sicily made us feel very welcome. Our 2 day comfortable stay continued in this way with little hospitality from staff; a shame because the hotel is good otherwise

Review 8：The hotel was pleasant, we had a large room with a distant view of the coast in Mondello. The welcome was very disappointing on arrival although a friendly maid helped the situation. The breakfast was pleasant. The 806 bus stop for Palermo is directly outside the hotel.

Review 10：We were in a quiet room overlooking the back of the hotel: great views, quiet, comfortable bed, very clean. The cleaning lady was fantastic and made us very welcome. Hotel only had a few rooms and felt at home after one day. Close enough to the beach. Make sure you ask for a quiet room, those overlooking the main street can be very noisy.

Review 23：10.30am check-out really spoils the day if you want to fit in a quick beach session before you leave.. We stayed over on a Friday and there was plenty of free street parking but leaving on the Saturday there was a frenzy to get parking places!

Review 25：While most of the staff were very pleasant, especially the young lady running the breakfast, our final impression was poor due to another young woman checking us out. I believe her name was Arlene but regardless she was unhelpful when asked, and exuded a very negative attitude. Too bad. Perhaps she will travel one day and learn the value of kindness.

Review 26：Excellent value, well manicured property with spacious rooms. Restaurant was very good for both the included breakfast and a la carte dinner. I usually do not write reviews although we are frequent travellers, however overall this establishment is exceptional and worth recommending.

Review 27：The staff went above and beyond. The cleaning lady even gave us an extra pillow with out even asking. I highly recommend this hotel for it's excellant customer service, delicious restaurant, price and location. The beach is literally 5 minutes by foot. Yes, this hotel does not have designated parking but it is not necessary at all as there are free spots on the cross streets. I would definitly stay here again.

Review 28：The room which looked like a furniture shop, with dark old-fashioned furniture and two massive wardrobes. The antiquated wooden lift. No price reduction for not having breakfast (we left the hotel at 6.30 a.m.).

Review 30：Everything was good: room quite big and comfortable, hotel territory is very beautiful and has a nice design. Very comfortable terrace outside where you could sit and relax. Breakfast was varied and tasty, and for the dinner there is also a restaurant at the hotel with very tasty food at a reasonable price, with calm and romantic atmosphere. The staff was very helpful and welcoming, many thanks especially to Massimo who was very kind and friendly! Location is perfect: the bus stop to go to/from Palermo is just in front of the hotel and buses circulate quite often and till late. The beach / sea is about 5 min waking from the hotel. Mondello city center is easy to reach and not too far away. This makes this hotel a perfect place to stay for a relaxing holiday at the seaside with the possibility also to visit Palermo.
