Reviews for Moyglare Lodge B&B

Review 1:I couldn't fault it!

Review 2:Moyglare Lodge is a classy act from start to finish. Everything is fresh and clean and my room was very comfortable. On top of that Marilee and Pearce ensured all my needs were satisfied. Best breakfast ever!

Review 3:The furnishings were a little dated but I feel it all added to the cosiness and charm of the place.

Review 4:The location was fantastic, easy for access to everything and in a really nice little village. The gardens were gorgeous and the house huge. The breakfast was great and kept me filled up until dinner. The owners were ever so friendly and keen to help with anything. You must try the farmshop café opposite - the brownies were to die for.

Review 5:very friendly people who put themselves out to make your stay perfect in every way. food was good, the sleeping accommodation was excellent, parking was plentiful , could not fault in any way.

Review 6:Room very dusty, pillows dirty underneath pillowcases, and especially did not like having blanket on bed. Breakfast room dead flies on window sills. Don't stay here for rest a lot of noise from people and kids going to ferry early morning.

Review 7:Nothing major, towels a bit harsh & pre arrival tidy of room could be a bit more thorough! As I said not major & wouldn't deter from returning

Review 8:Friendliness, location, proximity to local amenities & especially table tennis/ pool table & chess board located in the spacious attic room

Review 9:Nothing

Review 10:Everything we stay here anytime we use the ferry has a petrol station with shop and pizzeria also 2 pubs 1 serving food and a chippy all on its doorstep.

Review 11:My stay at Moyglare Lodge was most pleasant.Owners were very friendly, the house was spotless.Room was equally spotless and comfortable. At night there was perfect quiet.Indeed,I'll return.

Review 12:Poor wi-fi service.

Review 13:We were warmly welcomed by Ann the owner. The rooms were spacious and beds comfortable, breakfast was excellent. We stayed three nights, it's the second time we have stayed there and can highly recommend it. Shops and a pub which serves great food within walking distance.

Review 14:nothing but the signage coming from the Cork direction is not good you would drive pass the turn off

Review 15:it was so different it was back in time effect but everything was perfect a new house but when you entered the front door it was old style and so comfortable food was great and the owners so helpful good tourist adds for the area

Review 16:Being vegetarians there were very limited restaurants nearby so didnt really have much options to eat out. However, there is a seasfood restaurant, a take away and Centra deli counter just across the road. Non-veggies sure have options.

Review 17:The owners of the B&B are just lovely people. They made us feel at home and took care of our minor needs too. They offered wholesome breakfast and full irish breakffast. The rooms were sparkling clean and tastefully decorated It is well connected with N25 and good insulation keeps away the noise of cars from N25.

Review 18:My dad's ferry was delayed and he arrived after 9pm. The proprietor was so nice and waited up for him and made sure he had everything he needs. A perfect Irish welcome.

Review 19:THis B&B is perfectly located, lovely house and garden. Just off the main roads quiet. Bedroom very comfortable and quite luxurious. Secure parking.

Review 20:If you are a light sleeper the noise from the main road may be troublesome, so ask for a room at the back - and enjoy the views of the beautiful garden!

Review 21:The owners are charming and hospitable, gave excellent advice about things to see and do in the area, and did everything to make our stay a really enjoyable and comfortable experience. I asked to change room after the first night due to noise from the main road (see below) and they were more than happy to satisfy my request.Very good breakfast.

Review 22:Advertised as 'incl full Irish breakfast', 7:30 breakfast too early leaving continental breakfast only option. Not really good enough for ferry serving b&b

Review 23:Convenience to ferry. Very comfortable.

Review 24:Convenient place to stay for an early morning ferry. They had price options with/without breakfast. This was good as we don't wish to breakfast so early. Tea/coffee making facilities in room.

Review 25:Bed too hard, not very pleasant landlady but what is really annoying is we were charged extra 15 euros for breakfast when booking.com quoted 60 euros, including full irish breakfast. Landlady told us very indignantly that booking.com had made a mistake & she couldnt possibly make a profit at 60 euros. Feel somebody owes us 15 euros!

Review 78:i booked a double and asingle room. We got two twin rooms. when I pointed out that I had specifically booked a double I was told that when you book with booking.com it van be a double or twin room. this really wasnt satisfactory for us as the single beds were very narrow and I was concerned about an older person falling out.
