Review 1：Would have preferred a one-level room rather than apartment with bedroom in loft and bathroom on main floor.
Review 2：Beautiful view, friendly and helpful staff, wonderful breakfasts. Close to Certaldo Alto, ( reached by funicular from Certaldo) not on the tourist maps, but should be.

Review 4：The owners are extremely nice and helpful. The nightly quietness of the place is breathtaking. Sitting under the stars with a glass of wine is indeed pure recreation.
Review 5：The only things that could be improved are to provide wifi access in apartments (now only able to access in main areas) and a more comfortable chair and sofa in living room.
Review 6：We stayed in a beautiful, spacious, well equipped apartment and enjoyed our week there immensely. The location is superb with fantastic views. Great swimming pool. Lovely helpful hosts. Liked the honesty book, nice to feel trusted!
Review 7：The only downside: the WiFi sucks. In the rooms you have a minor connection, in the common areas sometimes a bit better, but generally it is very bad. Anyway, in case you are there for holidays you shouldn't be on the internet anyway.
Review 8：The location is absolutely fantastic. On the top of a hill, with a view on the total landscape 180 degrees. Brilliant. We booked a flat with own kitchen, everything was perfectly clean. Well decorated and very spacious as well. Breakfast was perfect.

Where to start: the view is gorgeous, the pool is a great thing for freshening up in the morning and chilling in the evening, room is very comfort, extra nice breakfast with freshly made cakes (!), delicious dinner with nice selection of wines, lovely hosts and superb location for visiting Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Montalcino and Pienza. Overall - superb place for feeling that special spirit of Tuscany. Definitelly would recommend it to everyone!

Review 21：Perfect Tuscany setting.. Unbelievable views. Central location for touring Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Volturra, Certaldo Alto and Pisa. We had four full days and five nights and barely enough time to do the amazing hikes right out the door. The room was extremely clean and spacious. coop was great for groceries.

Review 23：Excellent location, in the heart of Tuscany , 360 degrees of amazing hills views, hills covered with olive trees and vines ! The villa is managed by Gabriela (mom) , and daughter Flavia, they try everything to make your stay pleasant ! The room is nice, charming and has Tuscan character. The breakfast is delicious and great variety . This was our third time in Italy , and usually the breakfast consists of a pastry and a coffee, but at Podere Benintendi the breakfast was: fresh eggs, different type of salami, ham, breads, fresh pastries (2-3), every day, coffee, juice, cereals, different kind of home made jams. Also you have the option to order food for dinner ( ( you book it in the morning ), and Gabriela is cooking real, typical Tuscan food, which is extremely authentic , but mostly delicious ! We strongly recommend this place, I wish we could go back sometimes! My husband and I stayed there 5 nights. Thanks so much Gabriela and Flavia, you are special people ! Dorina and Alex from Canada
Review 24：This B&B really made our vacation perfect. The room was clean and comfortable, and there's a wide choice for breakfast. The location is very good, on the top of a hill just outside Certaldo with an amazing view to the surrounding hills. There's a terrace above the nice pool, where you can have your breakfast or dinner. There are a couple of places around the big house where you can sit down with a glass of wine and watch the amazing sunset. Don't miss the typical Italian dinner made by the owner (you have to pre-order). I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quiet, comfortable place.

The breakfasts on the terrace were great as was the ability to order an evening meal to be eaten on that same terrace with the setting sun in front of you. Amazing! The pool and gardens were lovely and we really appreciated having the use of a communal kitchen and the wine cellar in the basement which was operated on an honesty system.

Review 54：We had an excellent week at Podere Benintendi at the end of May 2014. Comfortable room, excellent buffet breakfasts, friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. Superb 180-degree views of the Tuscan countryside from a spectacular hilltop location. Unforgettable sunsets sitting on the terrace with a beer or bottle of chianti. Highly recommended.

The farm is located on a hill verlooking the whole area We had a large apartment with a large table in the courtyard for our use. Lots of crockery and kitchenware, fast heating throughout the apartment, and Wifii. It's a great location as a base for touring Tuscany. We were in San Giminiano, Siena, Montalsino. Florence city is less than an hour drive, and even one day we traveled a long drive to Venice. I highly recommend this place. When you arrive for the first time, if you have GPS, enter the coordinates of the place and you will reach easily.

Review 67：Excellent facility, very nice and customer oriented staff, great views around the house, private pool with possibility of refreshment, good place to start your sightseeing tours for Tuscany and Chianti area (located between Siena and Firenze, few kilometers from the autostradale). Spacious appartments, good breakfast. Wifi was even accesible in the room and for free. This facility is also convenient for families with small childrens, very quiet environment. We definitely will visit this residence again in the future :-)

Review 74：Breakfast could possibly be more diverse, for a long stay. There is certainly from which to choose, and everyone can find something for them. The disadventage is that there is no sidewalk to the center of Certaldo, so despite the short distance, it is hard to go there for a walk. Rather, you should always move the car.

I think a lot of people envy people living in Podere Benintendi;-) Pension leads mother and daughter. Bring a very pleasant atmosphere. Their openness and attention to guests makes everyone feel great, surrounded by a great concern. Great well-kept garden around the hotel, a lot of places, where you can relax, eat, drink wine ... I would recommend a walk in the park in Certaldo! I absolutely recommend Podere Benintendi!!!

Nicely designed property and home, friendly hosts (including one lovable golden retriever and his three cat friends), and large bedroom with connected bath. Every morning was a delight to wake up at Podere Benitendi. And it's very easy to find, just a 3-5 minute drive from Piazza Boccaccia. There is a beautiful terrace for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and absolutely gorgeous and relaxing to watch the sun set each evening. Highly recommended and would go back!
