Review 1：There were only two other people staying and I imagine it might be a bit noisy if busy, as walls seemed to be quite thin. Otherwise perfect!

Review 3：The guesthouse was clean and comfortable and in a convenient location to scenic sites in southern Iceland. The staff were friendly and accommodating and were even willing to go to the grocery store to provide us with greater options for breakfast.
Review 4：The communal breakfast area and kitchen was very messy and disorganised as well as very cold. There was lots of opened food items of an undetermined date in the fridge, the breakfast bar was messy and disorganised, instant coffee, tea not great either. A bit of organisation, warmth and cosiness needed.

Review 21：The breakfast area is in a corner so you can only get two people at once getting breakfast. Breakfast is served from 8am to 10am so most people were getting frustrated when trying to get to the counter. And they run out of tea bags. I would not want to stay during the summer. It would be better if the owner changed the layout to a long straight counter for easy access.

Review 27：Location was great a for staying a night along the ring road in Höfn. It's a quick 10 minute walk to the harbor to take a stroll around (small town, not really much to do). The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was large with a wonderful overhead/rainwater shower head!

Review 38：We stayed 3 nights & can only assume that we were given the worst room in the property. The door wouldn't work properly & needed force to open and close. The door lock was difficult. No soap or shower gel was provided. We had to ask for it. The room was very cramped & very little space to accommodate 2 back packs. Upon arrival a sign on the door indicated to phone a number so the owner could let us in. This cost us international phone charges on our mobile phone. The breakfast area is spacious but all the breakfast foods, toaster & tea/coffee facilities are crammed into a tiny corner which made it awkward if there was more than 1 guest at the table

Review 40：The owner failed to show up when we arrived mid-afternoon. She left a note on the door to call her, and said she didn't want to come to meet us since she was enjoying time with her children, so we had to check ourselves in. Other guests arrived and didn't see the note, so we showed them how to call the host. We also had to rescue several guests who couldn't figure out how to work the door locks and locked themselves in their rooms. To make things worse, the host confused us with another reservation and marked us as a no-show after we left, so we got double-charged by booking.com. So far the host has failed to correct her mistake although I called and emailed her. This property is of minimal comfort -- the accommodations were bare bones and there were holes in the sheets-- definitely not worth the hassle of a disorganized and amateurish host. We would never go back to Apotek.

Review 42：The staff was very friendly. They helped us find a local laundromat that washed all our clothes for a very reasonable price. The location is downtown so we could walk to the delicious restaurant and by the sea. Would stay there again!

Review 48：Very nice location in Hofn. Our room was completely new with a big new shower. Nice staff, good breakfast. Walking distance to the sea and the Harbour. Lots of restaurants nearby and a big supermarket.
