Reviews for Fortview Bed and Breakfast

Review 1:The distance from the town because we were being picked up by a relative but couldn't do anything while we were waiting.

Review 2:The friendliness of the owner!! and the cleanliness ...a and the free wi-fi connection

Review 3:The owner was very helpful and gave us a lift into the village which was a 5 minute drive , and also prepared tea and biscuits on arrival despite being dripping wet from the beach swim !

Review 4:Very pleasant stay, familiar atmosphere, excellent irish and continental breakfast, very clean and comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Very recommended for a relaxing holiday or a pause during a long trip.

Review 5:Location close to enniscrone but other locations perhaps a little more convenient if you want to walk home after a night out but by no means a major issue

Review 6:Host was very pleasant, we were going to a wedding in the diamond coast which is just a couple of minutes away and she kindly gave us a lift there for free, very nice breakfast in the morning too

Review 7:The carpet, in one of the rooms, was clean even though we did not like they had one.

Review 8:Super CLEAN!! A lot of space in the rooms.Very nice and gentle, good breakfast, friendly owner, brilliant quality-to-price ratio. If you have a car, the location should not be an impediment for you; parking space available and lovely views to the country side.

Review 9:the lawn area was full of dog poop - i would have expected it to be gathered daily. I had my scoop with me and feel this area of service could be improved upon

Review 10:home-made brown bread very good!

Review 11:All good

Review 12:Spacious rooms on ground floor was a pleasant change. Farm location was interesting. Hostess was very welcoming and helpful. She found a great trad music gathering for us to participate in nearby.

Review 13:Not a good location in comparison to other places. Not a nice setting either with the house across the wall from a farmyard. Bathroom was dirty, hair in the shower when we arrived. The shower drain was clogged so by the time you'd finished your shower there was over an inch of dirty water at your feet. Breakfast wasn't bad but nothing special. With no other guests it felt uncomfortable. Very little conversation from the host.

Review 14:The owner was friendly & she dropped us to the wedding venue as the B&B wasn't walking distance. Also provided a cup of coffee when we first arrived.

Review 15:Wifi only worked when sitting by the door of the room. Bed wasn't terribly comfortable but decent.

Review 16:Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic.

Review 17:Nothing

Review 18:The Greeting on the ph, the welcome when I arrived, the friendliness, the quietness, the comfort & of course the food :) Very understanding when I had to change dates, a very nice person, a very nice B&B and would have NO hesitation recommending here for any form of traveling tourist or business person to stay!

Review 23:Very welcoming by host Julie, couldn't do enough for you, room was spacious, bed very comfortable, breakfast fab ,extremely clean and location was lovely and peaceful but only a stone's throw away from the fabulous beach of inischrone. Would definitely recommend the fortview to stay in and will hopefully be back in the near future.

Review 54:The bathroom wasn't that clean, the toilet had been used and not cleaned, hair and not mine in the shower, a hair dryer would of been nice.
