Reviews for Pele's Windsong Wood Cottage on the beach
Review 1:There should be a exhaust fan in all toilets... otherwise its difficult to sit in room if someone is in toilet.
Review 2:The rooms were awesome... nice ventilation, AC working very well in all our rooms. Attendant quick service and polite, very helpful.. Nice decor, we just loved it...
Review 3:The hot water was slightly temperamental. If you want to be completely secluded and away from the business of Goa, the location is perfect. For a young couple - this may deem a bit too quiet.
Review 4:The cottages are very peaceful, being right on the beach. The rooms were decorated very nicely and were always clean. The friendly staff are always on hand to help - booking taxis, telling us where local shops, good restaurants are etc. Overall, a fantastic stay.
Review 5:The breakfast could be way better. Just bread and jam/butter and cornflakes followed by tea/coffee. It's pretty basic. One of the bathrooms had stinking water sometimes, not sure why.
Review 6:Quaint cottages that were extremely cozy gave us immediate access to one of the most beautiful beaches in Goa. The cottages themselves are surrounded by flora giving you welcome privacy. The staff are very helpful and the place is well maintained. All together a lovely experience.
Review 7:next to the beach, really relaxing, nice restaurants on the beach, nice and clean room, hot water. we got really sick and we were treated great, received medical treatment and support. thanks again sandra & carol!
Review 8:Bathroom water doesn't drain which is a common problem here, I see others mention that. Mosquitoes in the evening is unbearable even with two coats of repellant. No kitchen in resort but they can only get bread stuff however if you just walk outside there are 4 shacks which we can use.
Review 9:Liked service from staff, rooms are good, well located in front of beach with no crowd. @
Review 10:Since I am a solo traveler, it was almost too remote for me as it was so far from a town/ gathering place of any type. Also Pele's lacks wi- fi and the Wi-Fi at the few restaurants at least 15-20 minutes by foot away were often not working or did not have strong enough signal to be of value.
Review 11:If you are interested in walking right out to the sand/ beach this is an ideal place for you. The beach at this location is dotted by a few food shacks / restaurants, however, it is mostly unspoiled beaches. Also, the onsite manager, "Clem" is one of the best hospitality hosts I've ever experienced. His attention and concern about making my stay happy and comfortable was incredible.
Review 12:No A/C, gets pretty hot during the day No attached restaurant, so limited/basic options for breakfast At the beach so could be a little hard to locate
Review 13:Location was amazing The cottage was pretty clean The staff was friendly
Review 14:Water pressure in the restrooms. Only luke warm water in the restrooms, we visited during November and the mornings were cold. This may not be a concern from February.
Review 15:Proximity to the beach (Practically you are on the beach) Wooden cottages Seating arrangement outside Shower panels Cleanliness Staff (Good people) Owner (Very helpful. Guided us all the way to the property) Mr Sunil's coffee and tea whenever we needed :-)
Review 16:Power cuts, No phone to call reception only cash accepted
Review 17:location to the beach. It was music listening to waves sound in our sleep during the night. The beach is also a excellent one with very few crowd.
Review 18:There was nothing which we din't like.
Review 19:Hassle free check in and check out. Warm reception. Very cosy and comfortable wooden hut on the beach.

Review 33:Our experience was very good overall. Friendly staffs and very quite place to relax for few days.
Review 34:Route to the location, as it's quite close to the beach, can be a bit difficult to get at.
Review 35:I really loved the location, the staff was pretty good, service was prompt. The facilities inside the cottage were pretty good too.
Review 36:Staff is terribly unfriendly, never smiling and charges us tea andCoffee which They were offertes originally. Really unhappy scammers!Don't go there!
Review 37:Room was Nice but expensive
Review 38:Shower in the cottage is not to use, you have to take the common-shower for the guests. there is nothing around, no facilities to purchase things of daily need; without local driver hard to find!
Review 39:Location is good and well maintained, stuff friendly and helpful, a very quiet place, no noisy beach bars around, still you have some of them in a distance of 50-100mtrs
Review 40:Water in the shower was smelly (sewer). Hard to find as no signs at the road.
Review 41:Nice staff, friendly, clean well set-up cottage. There is a nice garden and it's close to a clean beach. Some restaurants closeby at the beach. Quiet at night.
Review 42:Shower stinks like spoiled eggs. You will defenetely need 2 copies of you passport and visa, so you'd better have it with you.
Review 43:Nice location on the beach. Peasful and calm seaside.
Review 44:The place was a little hard to locate. I did not feel the directions were marked properly.
Review 45:The location of the place is great! Just over the beach side. Each room looks like a small hut. The facility was calm and peaceful. The guy who took care of the facility and customer's needs, his name was Sunil. He was an excellent advisor. We called him Sunil ji. He helped in anything and everything he could to make our stay happy. I think the beach here is called Calvado. It's pretty good, powdery sand and the beach is beautiful.
Review 46:Temperature was high in Goa when I was around and hence very hot especially between 11am to 3 pm. I think there has to b AC or Room cooler considering such weather
Review 47:It's a different experience staying in a wooden cottage rather than staying in a resort/hotel
Review 48:Lack of comfort facilities like air conditioning, hot water, tea/coffee arrangements. The property is difficult to locate even with GPS.
Review 49:Beautiful and serene location. Hardly 50meters from Benaulim beach. Well maintained cottages and very friendly staff.
Review 50:1.Location difficult to find, need very clear road map. 2.room needs Tv and Ac 3.24hrs room service/food and drink very essential, as nearby there is nothing after 10pm. 4.hot water for bathing?
Review 51:Location 10/10 amazing
Review 52:1.The electrical wiring laid in the stilt, beneath the wooden cottages are dangerously exposed, the joints are also not done and protected properly. 2.The shower water gives foul smell. 3.Absence of electricity backup system. 4.The shop in the property plays very loud music disturbs the quietness.
